Good Beans

Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 Been here before and recommend it to anyone I know coming to Amsterdam. Coffee here is probably the best I've had. I like trying new places for everything, food / coffee etc and often wouldn't go back unless it was very good. I'd happily take my coffee here every day. Nothing as bad as a bad coffee... People often mention coffee, Amsterdam, beans, good, Good, great, people, Beans, friendly, spot,

Good beans by Good people in a Good street. If you come here more than once you may yourself turn into a good bean. Good beans are known to have intense taste profiles with a soft yet modest note of love. If your body feels some form of caffeine or vibe hit, Good Beans is a place to come. Pour your soul into the now and go to coffee at Good Beans; to get your caffeine and dopamine hit.

My favourite cafe for coffee in all of Amsterdam! A must for ethically sourced coffee, good vibes and wonderful people. The people are very kind and that Cody is a real looker!

Such a beautiful spot. Delicious coffee, good people, and lovely plants - you can’t go wrong. We got a cold brew and a drip. The Ethiopian for the drip for me was subdued in the front but then burst into juicy flavor as it finished. It was so nice that we bought the beans for later. If you are a coffee lover, I would definitely encourage you to check them out!

Definitely skilled in the art of the bean with unique flavours that you won't find just anywhere. Had the latte and everything was prepared perfectly. Unfortunately I must mention, for such a high review rating I had very lackluster customer service. I normally come out of the dark Dutch weather to find sunshine in the people but this was unfortunately not the case at Good Beans.

Popped by this coffee spot and treated myself to a mocha and a plum cake. That mocha was something else - with a velvety creamy foam and a delicious dark chocolate kick. The place itself is small but super chill and vibey, and it's clear from the long line that the neighbourhood loves it. No wonder they've got all these fantastic reviews!

I come here often. Cozy place. Absolutely friendly people. These guys always make me feel welcome. Great place, amazing coffee with a varied selection of beans from other specialty roasters on the shelf. Which shows to me that coffee is grown, roasted and made by lots of people. This place celebrates that. Good vibes. Mad respect.

Visiting a friend here in Amsterdam and she brought me here on the first day as it’s her go-to coffee spot. I am not a coffee drinker myself, however the chai lattes—whether hot or iced—are delicious. The owner and staff are very friendly and charismatic. Great drinks and great vibes!!

The best specialty coffee in ALL amsterdam. It’s small, unique and friendly. Not pretentious. I always get my beans and my flat whites here

Very small place but packed with flavorful coffee and knowledgeable people. A bit hidden, but definitely worth the visit if you like good coffee. We were brought there by a friend who lives in Amsterdam and had espresso and a dirty chai. Both were amazing and the coffee selection is outstanding. The place is small and feels very intimate. The staff is very helpful and can definitely give great advice. And if you need any supply or great coffee they will sell it. Attached a photo of some of the coffees they have on hold. I definitely recommend the DAK which is roasted in Amsterdam.

My favorite coffee place in Amsterdam. Even being a tiny spot for takeout, it feels like a community space. the team is sweet, the coffee selection is high quality and fair trade. I buy my coffee here.

Epic cozy place to stop for a coffee. Always friendly, coffees are poured here with passion. Don't pass on the opportunity of trying their fairly priced coffees at home, note that if you take your own vessel to take your coffee beans home you get quite a discount!

Really great speciality coffee especially if you like stronger coffee! The staff is always really nice and chatty. Even though it is tiny the atmosphere is really wholesome and has that “living room vibe” that I absolutely adore in cafes!! If you want good coffee good beans is the way to go.

Stopped in here while visiting Amsterdam, and it was such a charming and delicious coffee shop! I got an oat latte, and the coffee was so tasty and high quality (and I am quite picky with my coffee!) Service was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stop in again next time I visit!

Good Beans is about to be your new favourite place. They brew incredible sustainable and ethical coffee and they’re proudly connected to the whole of their supply chains. Chilled vibe, tasty baked goods, fantastic tunes, and curated merch you’ll want to give as gifts but then secretly keep for yourself - beans, socks, totes, the works. When you arrive at this beautifully designed space you’ll be able to tell right away what an inclusive and dynamic community hub it is. The owners and staff are sincere and warm and the place bubbles with conversation, recommendations, and laughter with new visitors and regulars alike. Super lekker!

Nice little coffee nook in the Jordaan. Friendly service, flat white was an 8/10. Currently only open for take-out but it seems like a nice spot to hang out once re-opened :)

Coffee guy I met was a gem. I had found it hard to find specialty coffee in Amsterdam, he was happy to advise me on some other spots to try. Filter coffees chosen with intention, nice bean selection & showed a high understanding of the craft. Served me a good cup. Nothing more I could ask for really.

Regular rotating and wonderfully curated selection of coffee from different origins and roasts. Key point is rotating! If you like to discover new and different, this is a great spot for you. Literal hole-in-the-wall in a great part of Amsterdam, you can find all kinds of people in and outside of the shop. Goodbeans has developed a charming community of just good people, which is no part a reflection of how the owner works with his employees and sources his coffee. Passionate about coffee and doing it well. Don't skip the cold brew if they haven't sold out for the day!

Favorite coffee spot in Amsterdam! The staff is extremely friendly and takes pride in serving great coffee (sourced ethically which is also very important to me). You can buy their beans and even enjoy your drink in the sun on their bench.

After 9 months of living in this neighborhood there is no doubt - this is the best flat whites around. Lovely owners, lovely ethic sourcing, and lovely strong coffee

Do yourself a favor and walk the extra 15 meters from the Coffee Company around the corner and get yourself a proper cuppa. Good Beans is simply the BEST.

During my search for a barista shop to find some extra accessories and tools to expand my home set-up I stumbled across Good Beans. Located close to the central station (literally a 7-minute walk) near the always buzzing Haarlemmerstraat, Good Beans is a true gem in Amsterdam for the coffee enthusiasts, (home) baristas or anyone looking for a great cup of coffee or bag of beans! Cody (the owner) was very welcoming and passionate, recommended me a great coffee, based on my wishes and really came across as a knowledgeable and professional man who turned his passion into his craft! Not only did the story behind Good Beans, the company values and the great coffee delight me but also the fact that Good Beans offers fresh, fair and locally roasted coffee in sealed and re-usable metal cans. These can be used again and again for your next purchases of the delicious coffees this place offers. It underlines a focus on sustainability which I support fully. Thank you for your time, and thank you for sharing the story behind Good Beans and your future ambitions and ideas! I’ll definitely stop by again when I am in Amsterdam!
