This place is worth the long but speedy tram journey out of Amsterdam Central. In a quiet residential area this place was suprisingly packed with Brits. Perhaps through word of mouth. It is pan Asian but has a huge sushi menu. We had a sushi platter, some dim sum and then some Bulgogi for main which we shared.

We had the suprise menu. Food was plentifull, nice variety and nicely decorated. The suprise menu consists of two courses of starters and a main course. We figured it out when no dessert was included. They have 2 robots helping the staff.

This is the best Japanese place i know in Amsterdam, i have been here many times and have never been dissapointed. Very friendly staff with great service and amazing food. I hate fish, but here i can easily eat it because its that good. It is kinda pricey tho. Lots of paid (till 7pm) parking places around the restaurant too!

Amazing dining experience. This is my husband's favorite restaurant. Seems like all servers cover all tables because we had at the minimum 4 servers come to our table for different things. Amazing teamwork and environment. Perfect Panna Cotta and beef rolls.

We went with a large group and tried many things on the menu. They were all delicious. The staffs were very polite, we liked the atmosphere too. We will definitely go again, I recommend it to you.

I had the pleasure of eating here last night. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time, the food was delicious and fresh, the sushi presentation was gorgeous and the atmosphere gezellig and classy.

Yesterday we had dinner here with mu team. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. In addition the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy. Nice detail is the serving robot that is playing birthday music. Last but not least: the food is amazing tasty and very fresh. Definitely a must go to when you are around. René.

Really lovely food and the service was fantastic. They didn't have a vegan menu so highlighted for me on the order slip what would be suitable. The robot waiter was cute too!

It’s a fancy place to spend time but if you are hungry and need to really eat, you may feel the portion size too small for the price. Scallops come on pringles! which looks a bit strange but they taste really good!

The food was good and some dishes very creative. Flavors and seasoning was oke, nothing special. The restaurant looks great, blossom trees all over the establishment. But visiting the bathroom was a totally different world, clean but rundown. Overall a good time nothing special. ps. The service was great. Even some nice serving tricks that have.

Fantastic food and great service. Randomly stopped in for dinner when another restaurant was full. So glad I did, the sushi was fantastic as well as everything else I had! Really worth stopping in!!

A very, very far fetch from authentic Japanese food, sushi sauced up with sriracha mayonnaise, to just name 1 thing. Menu consisted of all kinds of asian food from korean to indonesian to chinese and attempted Japanese cuisine. There are much better true authentic Japanese places in Ams.

A good restaurant with good food and good service! And good wines with good prices! The atmosphere was great. I will be back for sure. Thank you Mchi for this great evening!

Discovered this recently in Ijburg, Amsterdam. A little on the pricey side for the portions but the quality of food makes up for it. A little disappointed in the Malaysian pancake, which was not the traditonal flaky one (which would be worth 5 euros), but was the frozen roti paratha that you get from the Appie. The staff were great, welcoming and very helpful. Would go again until the neighbourhood pops up something better.

Reviews are tricky. I thought i would come to a nice restaurant but it’s rather a food court quality sushi and very bad atmosphere. Staff are strange. Never again.

Super nice sushi, small and tasty ! The other dishes all to die for. Service, swift, correct, pleasant. Recommend ! We ll be back soon.

a wonderful authentic place with its own style and excellent cuisine

Great atmosphere, great service and the food was delicious and fresh. I was not disappointed and will return in the future. I would recommend this restaurant for bulgogi beef, rolls, sashimi and their deserts.

Despite the new COVID-19 restrictions we decided to have a night out. If you live in Ijburg you visit Mchi. We visited Mchi many times and I always have my favorites: Larb gai and Ebi furai. We also tried some of their new sushi dishes and we not disappointed. Service is attentive and always there when you need them
