👍👍 Amazing food for good price. We came here on King’s Day and this place was so relaxed and quiet, it felt like a calm haven in a busy city. The waiter was super friendly. I recommend trying the lentil soup, it’s delicious and it’s served very nicely! Everything else we tried also tasted very good. The warm and attentive staff enhance the overall dining experience with their genuine kindness and helpful demeanor. The highlight of my culinary journey was undoubtedly the scrumptious firin kebab, a local specialty from Turkiye that left me craving more. This delectable dish had me daydreaming about enjoying it daily. Equally impressive was the kelle paca, a traditional Turkish soup that stood out as a delicacy in its own right. The bicak arasi pide was an irresistible delight, boasting a crunchy, thin crust that paired wonderfully with its flavorful toppings of parsley and onions. Meanwhile, the icli kofte offered an explosion of juiciness within its tender meat filling. No meal would be complete without dessert, and the kunefe and kabak tatlisi did not disappoint. These heavenly sweets rounded out an already exceptional dining experience. Regrettably, the manti fell short of expectations, proving to be the sole underwhelming dish of the evening. This restaurant offers a delightful array of flavors and dishes that are sure to satisfy any discerning palate. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to further explore their delicious offerings.

Definitely great taste with various dishes. Start with a delicious soup, continue with “etli ekmek” and close the dinner with kunefe! Perfect service quality, fast and efficient, also child friendly place.

I visited with some friends. Nefis was recommended by a Turkish friend of mine who was also with us. He says in Amsterdam within fair budget this is the best restaurant you can find. The food was really tasty and the service was good. We paid €25 each and ate a lot. 3 different dishes, fries, salad, soft drinks, tea and desert. Literally there was food left on the table in the end. Downside is that they do not offer alcohol drinks.

I was looking forward to eating at Nefis. Unfortunately, the Adana kebab was far below average. The meat was dry, and perhaps even overcooked. Didn't receive any bread at the start (quite common among Turkish restaurant). Service is good. If you are coming by car, be aware of the high parking costs. Pro. - service is quick - enough seating Cons. - food is disappointing - no bread and sauces are served beforehand

A very nice restaurant at Amsterdam Oost to taste some traditional dishes from central regions of Turkey namely from Konya. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Service is quick and interior is super clean. Go for Etli Ekmek and Bicakarasi with Cheese as main dishes then Kunefe with Tea for a tasty finish.

Delicious “etliekmek”. The portion of “mercimek soup” is small but tasty. “İçliköfte” was unsalted but delicious too. When we order turkish coffe, a piece of baklava as a complimentary was suprising. P.S. thanks for the clean restroom. Update; also try "Bicakarasi". Its better than "etlietmek". And also no need to try humus as it doesn't taste like it.

Loved their ‘etli ekmek’, very thin breaded long pizza with minced meat and diced veggies. So crispy and delish!! Nice authentic decor and friendly professional service. Quite fast as well. Our 2nd visit in 2 days, well worth it. I’m basically writing this review to remember this place next time we’re in Holland as much as to help fellow gastro enthusiasts. Their künefe dessert is very very successful as well. Them being open late at night is a huge plus for jet lagged travellers. Good job guys, kudos to you

I have tried probably all Turkish restaurants in town and this one is by far the best. The food is so fresh and tasty, especially oven meals. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and warm. Highly recommend

Pretty good Turkish Etli Ekmek. The portions are on the bigger side, though I would recommend getting 1.5 portion as it is much more economic. I tried Bicak Arasi (beef slices) and Etli Ekmek (minced beef), I prefer the latter.

It’s the only Turkish restaurant that I have been going regularly for years now and never ever disappoints! The price and quality is just amazing! Their pide’s are amazing. My favorites are ‘Etli Ekmek’ and ‘Spinach with cheese’. They have very friendly staff. If you go, try their homemade ‘Ayran’ which tastes really good. I have suggested this place to many non-Turkish friends of mine and they all loved it. So definitely recommended and approved place for sure!🤗

Really good food and location, extremely friendly staff. Definitely recommend. I had the marinated chicken breast with rice. They also give you a hefty basket of pita which was really tasty too.

Sometimes you have to post a comment. This is one of those cases. They added a green sauce resembling pistachios to the baklava. Worse still, when I gave this feedback, they accepted it quite normally. I ate a lot of food that did not look like the original, but this situation is unfortunately unacceptable. Other than that, “etli ekmek” which is one of the favourite dishes of the place was of average taste.
