Always fun. Great cocktails, nicest bartenders and good crowd

Had a couple of beers and some nachos, overall a really nice experience. It might’ve been the beers making me tipsy and hungry but the nachos were sooo good 😌 However the staff was not very friendly, made me a bit disappointed.

I cant comment on the food as I only went for drinks with my friends, but ... We ordered a few whiskey and Bailey's as part of the drinks and the volume of these drink was horrible. It was literally 2 mm of whiskey in a regular whiskey glass, same for the Bailey's. And you still paid 7+ euro for the whiskey. Literally a single sip and your drink was empty ... I kinda felt ripped off. The regular drinks, (wine, beers, etc) were normal quantity. If you want a stronger alcohol beverage, don't get it here.

Great place for a quick bite & drinks after work... truffle mayo that came with the fries was delicious.

We stopped in after dinner one evening as we walked by. It was only the bartender and some locals, all of whom were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a couple of drinks and conversation. It definitely made our stay in Amsterdam even more fun.

I ordered the Quinoa Salad (phenomenal) and Pork Belly Bao Buns (good!) along with one of their local beers. The service was excellent, the food came out fast and the atmosphere could not be beat.

Really nice atmosphere, good music, good food and good vibes! We chose two different Flammkuchen, the one with parma ham was so good that we chose it a second time. Very friendly and caring staff! 10/10 just CLASS!

Everything was perfect, the food was amazing and yet so cheap, the place was beautiful, we had great music, and the waiter (maybe the owner) was the nicest person we met in our entire trip ! Thanks you so much ! dont change a thing !

Great place for a drink. Nice terras and the sun stays for a while in the spring and summer. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent find in this nice area. We had a couple of salads and a couple of beers. Both were Excellent!!! Mine came with falafel and the Mrs had the goat cheese salad, both were really really good. Bartender was one of the friendliest we had during our trip.

Expected more based on the reviews. The grilled veggies dish had literally 1 veggie and was filled with salad instead. The service was good though.

I celebrated my birthday at Barasti and it was absolutely perfect! It is the perfect venue to have either a sit down dinner or a drinks and snacks type of celebration that becomes a dance venue at night. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the ambience is perfect - classy but cosy! I would have an event there again any day and so many of my guests (40 of them) loved it and complimented me on the venue. I ordered snacks as well and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend it!

Not enough staff to service the amount of people - and it was far from full. Waited an hour to order food despite requests and learned that no eggs were available for brunch. Fortunately the chicken sandwich was tasty albeit a bit small. Coffee wasn’t great. Just overall underwhelming.

Super unfriendly waitress. She was annoyed all the time and rather spent time at the bar chatting with her friend while the few guests there had to wait until she decided to maybe actually do some actual work.

I spent my last night in Amsterdam here and I’ll say it’s amazing I had bitterballen and a pint of Heineken. I sat outdoors. The food was great and the staff were really attentive and helpful. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. Staff was very nice and even shared some stories about an alcoholic beverage on the menu. Big portions, you won't leave hungry, especially the risotto was a lot. Would recommend checking out this place to anyone!

Barasti is such an stunning place. My friend and I went here for dinner and we had a great time. The restaurant has a warm and cozy design and the food is amazing. We started our meal with a couple of delicious starters. The beetroot carpaccio with sliced apple was a refreshing combination of flavours and the ceviche was fresh and zesty. We both love beef so that is what we had for our mains. My friend had thinly sliced beef that was perfectly cooked with a sauce that complemented it wonderfully. I really was in the mood for a burger so the chef made one with beef, pulled pork, triple cheese, fried egg and sauces in a toasted brioche bun. My mind was absolutely blown when this beautiful tower of meat arrived at our table. My hands got nice and dirty eating it🙂 We can't end a meal like this without dessert. My friend chose the classic chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. After hearing the history behind it I had to go with the Coupe Normande with apple sorbet and calvados. These were both so good we shared and ate some of both. Everything we ate at Barasti was a pleasure for the eyes and stomach, highly recommended for anyone!

The Nachos is surprisingly good, recommend! The sliptong is quite nice too, also recommend! The ribeye is not recommended, the sauce is quite ok, but the steak itself is not very good, not tender at all. So food got 2 out of 3 stars. There is only one waiter, who needs to take care of all the tables and the bar. He is very nice and friendly, totally worth 1 star. The atmosphere is cozy. It’s easy to get there by either public transportation or by car or by bicycle. So 1 star for it. In total: 2+1+1=4 stars
