very upsetting! this is the sad sandwich for 7e that I received last time I visited this Joe...what a disappointment. I've been coming to this Joe for coffee&sandwich and the one on Beethovenstraat for almost 2 years now and the quality has gone waaaaaay down over the years. 1. The personal is generally snobby and rude. Last time I heard a loud, degrading 'HEY' from the employee who was trying to catch my attention because there was a problem with their app/scanner which didn't scan the payment. I do not expect a smile from everyone and every time I visit, but I would at least like to be treated like a human being. 2. coffee (milk) is either burned or tastes like dishwasher - and for that price (standard coffee rates) it should definitely not be the case. Also, cups and glasses are always smudgy. As a fellow barista I sympathise, but a busy schedule should not be an excuse for poor execution, and paying customers should definitely not suffer for this sort of ignorance. 3. you can't find a place to sit without someone else's garbage lying all over the place. Even if you can find a place that is cleaned from old smoothie cups and used napkins, the table is covered in grease and crumbs that, you guessed it, you have to clean yourself (even tough new corona restrictions tell otherwise...). 4. also, the toilets are a disaster...no paper, no hand towels is a norm (in both locations) and dust is just piling in every corner. Suspicious spill marks and clearly I have been observing for a while and being patient to see some positive change, but too many things have gone wrong proving that this place (and Beethovenstraat) need some serious reorganisation. Hope you take this feedback into consideration.

Very nice juice place. Probably the best in town. The long black coffee is great tasting and the bites yummy. The only downsize is the price. You should keep an eye open for promotions and packages bought in advance. The juices are perfect for the warm summer days. Try the green shield juice.

Just opened and I’ve been several times. Great concept, fresh and quality juice, nice staff and ambience. Much better than other juice or health offerings in amsterdam. Not cheap though but that’s expected for high quality.

The one staff member who took my order was extremely helpful and lovely. She gets the stars Green juice was yummy tho had a lot of pulp in it. The Acai bowl was frozen solid and hard to eat. I rest Acai regularly and would not order it again here.

Strongly recommend against coming here as orders are generally a mess and the quality suffer from improper handling. Save yourself the pain and go to another Joe location or pick up a juice from AH

Delicious smoothies and juice. My son had a strawberry power shake and I had a green juice which you can convert to a smoothie by requesting they add avocado. Extremely friendly and professional, polite staff. It’s small but has seating for about 15 inside and half a dozen at tables outside, and you can sit also at four picnic tables and several benches in a parkette situated in the intersection of the Cornelius Schuytstraat and Johannes Verhulststraat. Update: they have been “out of kale” for three days in a row (!). They are steps away from Tom Ensink, as well as an organic grocer, and not far from Albert Heijn and Jumbo. Who so hard to get kale in Oud-Zuid? Update: Apparently there is a “kale shortage” (April, 2022). Note: they don’t accept cash so you need a credit card or PIN card.

Sorry, but you left me no choice than to write it here! Last Saturday I went to pick up 2 smoothies, they messed up the orders, I was waiting for more than 20 min, than they apologized for the mistake, they said, we do it right now, 10 min later, again nothing.... I couldn't wait longer so the girl at the kassa said it will refund my money back, now is tuesday, no refunds back! Well done.... what can I say? I dont think I ever go their..... if you don't want to have a bad start of the day you better choose an other location to get a drink, my advise!

Well is really nice area and cool place delicious food and drinks ,I frequented this place often but the staff is something else they really don't take u seriously and are really nonprofessional especially a young dark hair guy with glasses, please work an staff the old one was amazing hope you will bring that staff back and I will happily be back 🙂 DT (29.07.2022)

Well I see what the previous reviews ment by a frat house. The staff are young college kids that are talking to each other over the loud music about their weekend plans. I believe there are all from abroad The food: green juice - tasted great but there was a lot of pulp in the Acai bowl - I wouldn’t call this an açai bowl. Acai ice cream maybe. It was frozen balls that I had to chip away at. As it finally softened and I was able to eat it. It did not taste like acai. It tasted like it was mixed with sugar or apple juice

Super yummy carot cake!!! Moist and so flavorful. My favorite! The juices are delicious as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful, thank you so much! One thing I didn't like: the prices. Oof.

Same old Joe & the Juice experience. The sandwiches are tasty, the drinks ok. It’s not the most thrilling thing around. This particular cafe is comfortable, though the music was a little louder than we’d prefer for conversation. That said, someone was working on some music with headphones and a keyboard so… staff were very friendly.

Open at 7pm even Sunday’s and with a smile offering a very nice variety of tasty healthy foodies and drinks. Me here at 8:15 with a Spirulina bowl, hot chocolate with oat milk and a gingershot to start the day :-) I recommend of course ❤️

I like Joe&Jouce, good coffee and smoothies, and yesterday I heard russian music playing from the cafe to the whole street at this location. I came in, asked to be excluded, I am from Ukraine and experienced trauma of the war in Kharkiv. I found complete protection in the Netherlands, when I hear russian music in public places, I feel danger and panic. Russian performers pay taxes, taxes go to rockets that are directed at my house every day. I hope this barista from Kazan (Russia) will no longer include music from his personal playlist. I hope for your understanding.

I would not recommend getting the acai bowl. I bought it as a takeaway thinking I could eat it on the go but it is frozen as an ice block. It is as if they just pre packed it and took it straight of the freezer and sold it to you. Service was average.

Tuna Sandwich is delicious. Friendly staff. Strawberry milk shake is good.

My favourite joe and the juice in town! Today got my Black Friday cards and got treated with complimentary juice and sandwich by lovely Bram, and lovely Masha helped me install the app and explained how the things work in it. You are the best, guys!

I ordered through Uber pick up. The app on Uber told me that the order is ready. So I came to the store. I asked where the order is and the manager answered really rude and arrogant that he doesn’t know. So I asked him how long it will take. After that I asked why he pressed the button that it is ready and he became mad at me. His answer was: it is busy and turned away his head. Been waiting for 30 minutes in the store. Still haven’t gotten my order. While waiting inside I saw him scrape the sweat of his forehead with his hands multiple times and touching the food afterwards without washing his hands.

Good coffee and good sandwiches, but man. What a loud place. The loud music and the employees screaming for people’s name in an already small shop to begin with (it’s about 40/50m^2) gives you a headache easily. Not recommended at all for studying/working
