My group of four decided to try NAZKA to check out some Peruvian cuisine. We booked a table a couple of weeks out (it seems necessary on weekends), and we have 0 regrets. You choose between a 4-course (our pick) or a 6-course meal, and there are add-on options, such as oysters, artichokes, and steaks. 🍴 As you can see by the photos, each dish was beautifully presented, but more importantly, they were all delicious. We all agreed at the end of the meal that our favorite dish was the Yellowtail 🐟. Unreal. Maybe the best dish I’ve had since living in Amsterdam? 10/10. Additional highlights were the tomahawk steak with the mole sauce and the eggplant dish. But all the food was genuinely really lovely 👍🏽 🥂 The cocktails were also really refreshing. When none of the cocktails on the menu spoke to me, the friendly bartender offered to make me a drink based on my taste, and she made such a delicious drink. 🤵🏻‍♀️ Our waitress, Sandra, was very friendly and helpful! Thank you for a lovely dining experience. A waiter also explains what is in each dish when they deliver them to the table. 🙏🏽 We’ll be back, and I recommend you check it out as well! 10/10

Really special place! I love the use of Aji Amarillo in a few dishes here. The Peruvian cuisine with significant Japanese influence was quite something. I see this place has a lot of potential but the staff need to do more work in learning about the ingredients better and explaining better. Nevertheless, definitely recommend! Make sure to get the 6 course dinner!

The best thing about the food here is the presentation: very creative and original. But overall, it was disappointing and overpriced. The wine pairing was very off—some really questionable choices here. I like the idea and concept of this place, but it's poorly executed. I would love to like it more. Peruvian cuisine deserves to become more widely known, and if someone puts an original spin on it, all the better. The staff was also nice and friendly. They use good ingredients as well, but then just lack finesse when it comes to preparing the food. Too much focus on appearance, but then it fell short on flavor.

Two words come to mind to describe our experience at Nazka - layers and textures. Both in the ambiance and the food. The unassuming exterior gives little away. Inside, a plush velvet couch anchors the center of the room, flanked by panoramic windows facing the street on inside and opposite, a clay-colored honeycomb wall acts as an earthy divider to the kitchen. A vibrant painting is splashed across the back wall, and the rest of the room is speckled with colorfully seated chairs and cozy painted hanging lanterns. But it’s all done in a way that’s not flashy or overdone. It’s restrained in the classiest of ways. And speaking of restrained, the food pushes the boundaries of the Amsterdam palate, but still holds back without flooding diners with overblown flavors or overly spiced entrees. The tasting menu offers up sufficiently portioned dishes, with unique flavor combos (think fried eggplant with smoked yogurt, and ají panca spiced rice with roasted turnips). Each course is accompanied with a card giving background of the featured pepper. Pro tip: ask the bartender for a cocktail pairing with dessert. She whipped up a refreshing, light cocktail made that delightfully accompanied the dessert course. Was a capstone to a fantastic experience.

What a delightful experience. I enjoyed myself a lot there as everything was just top! The service was super friends, food was delicious, and the overall ambience is a 10 ! We ordered the 4 course menu, and started with oysters which did not disappoint at all. Highly recommended place 10/10 Don’t forget to enjoy a lovely pisco sour !

Everything about this restaurant is excellent! The food was amazing, strong flavors that were perfectly balanced. Comfortable decor and very friendly and attentive service. I would highly recommend this place! We started with the razor clams and the whisky sour aperitif followed by the four course menu. It was a perfect amount to eat.

We had an amazing evening at Nazka! Very attentive and friendly staff. The food was really delicious, and the wine pairing was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice, beautiful decor. The tables had small cards with information about the Peruvian ingredients, that was really cool. All in all an exquisite experience!

Fantastic experience! Stunning dishes! We tried the 6 courses menu + the stake. Each dish was simply stunning. Mouth watering combination of flavors and colors! Service is great, friendly and professional. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere.

Food and presentation are good and original. Wine is a bit expensive even though the sommelier is nice. Staff could be more engaging to reflect the warmth of Peruvian people! The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, the music is not too loud so you can talk to people without shouting.

Such great food! Wow! Amazing wine pairings from the great Italian somm. The only thing that could be better would be the service. We had to ask for water every time, food was placed on the table and we had to wait too long for our wine pairings. Glad everything made up for it!

Once in a while you find yourself surprised with something new you try. Sometimes it's just not that good, sometimes it's what you expected and in some rare occasions you're just surprised beyond expectation which was the case for Nazka. We love good food and visit restaurants quite often. We never tried Peruvian food and were looking for something we haven't tried before so we made a reservation at Nazka. The first impression was immediately a good one, the place has a nice atmosphere the staff was friendly and warm en the acoustics topped it off. We enjoyed our new experience with the Peruvian kitchen. All dishes were very tasteful nicely displayed and the little explanation cards for each dish helped us understand the menu and (for us) new kind of foods. What really made the difference for us was the botanical pairing. A drinks pairing without alcohol. The cocktail guy created some nice drinks which really added to the dishes. The fact that there was an alcohol free pairing is something we don't often find but for sure could appreciate. Staff were friendly, nice and relaxed. The attention we got was just right, not all over us but immediatly aware if we needed something. So yeah for us this was a great surprise and a restaurant in the top 3 of our list of places we would recommend if someone asks us for a nice restaurant in Amsterdam. Thanks and we look forward to our next visit.

Amazing and outstanding dining experience - actually the best I had in Amsterdam so far! Great atmosphere, super delicious dishes and service. 10/10! We went for the 4 course menu and added a tomahawk steak and had no regrets. It is hard to say which dish was the best - but for me the yellowfin fish and the tomahawk with mole were in the lead!

From the 6 Course Menu - 2 were exceptional - 2 good - 2 weak… if the chef’s team manage to upgrade 2 plates and make robust food and wine paring suggestions, they could aspire to a bib Gourmand… but they really need to finess 2-3 areas. Amazing and friendly staff!

Nice Peruvian restaurant: the interior must be designed with some inspirations from Asian, I enjoy most of the dishes and will consider to visit again if I want to try some Peruvian fusion food with good atmosphere. It could be a bit noisy during weekend evening and it would be nicer if the dishes are served in a evenly pace.

This was a really memorable experience worth 5+ stars. The food was outstanding, with interesting flavors it’s, layers and textures that uplifted every dish. The pisco sour was great and not to mention the nice the vibe and setting of the restaurant as well as the amazing staff that look after humor. Definitely look forward to coming back!

The food was great, pronounced on the acidic side but at the same time delicate and interesting. Even if you don't like the acidity the experience definitely sets you in a mindful state. I have enjoyed the boldness in my course. Pleasant spicy aftertaste. The chef courteously came to your table and others at the end of the night to ask about our experience. Legend! But the highlight of everything was definitely the amount of attention they put on you, I don't know *how the duck* they found so many attentive and sharp people for the service/bar. Everything spot on 100% of the time. Bartender who not only makes balanced/on the sweet spot cocktails / drinks but also sociable and considerable. He gave us some berryish shot/small drink to match the duck that was a delight! It was my first time along with some Dutch friends and while it was an amazing experience I feel that the vibe they provide is perfect for when I come back with my wife/for couples looking for a "romantic" or special experience.

First time trying Peruvian kitchen and it was refreshing, exciting and delicious! Every dish was beautifully decorated and the taste was interesting, with new flavors that fitted very well together. Personally loved the starter with Peruvian potatoes and broccolini…it made you wanting more. The salmon was very refreshing and paired very well with the Yuzu sake. The little cards that explained some of the dishes or ingredients were a nice touch. The atmosphere was laid back, good for nights with friends. It was a bit loud for me, but the food made it all good.

Food is excellent. We got the 6 courses menu and every dish was wow. The mushroom-based dish was the best for me, so good! BUT: I do expect more than good food from a restaurant where the vegetarian menu is €87 per person so with a cheap wine and drinks you end up paying more than €150 per person. I was a bit disappointed with the location. The restaurant looks quite normal, nothing special really. At a certain point it became too noisy in the room. Tables are also too close to each other. I don’t think I will go back but I’d recommend to try it once to taste special flavours.

We chose the 4 course meal and wine pairing for dinner. The ambiance is great and the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was presented really intricately with high quality ingredients. However for the high price, the portion size was too small (we went to get a snack after) and there’s a lot of sauce. For the vegetarian option, there wasn’t enough protein. Overall, for a special occasion it’s a nice dinner.

Absolutely amazing! We had the 6 course menu, plus the oysters, which were incredible. The unanimous standout was the Salmon Tiradito, which is a must try. The only dish we weren't crazy about was the slow cooked duck.

I so love this place, service is excellent, meals are amazing, Piscos as they should be. The chef is young, ambitious yet without any arrogance or forced politeness, while giving credits to his team. Been there twice, will definitely return soon

The dinner was tasty, with a nice 5 dishes menu, and all dishes were good without being exceptional. Some things were off, especially the sweet and savoury balance of some. The dessert was great, intriguing and well managed. Nazca is worth a visit if you want to eat a new take on the genre. In this case, begin with an oyster. They were good.

Definitely a place in coming back. A chick restaurant where you can find an alternative way to eat Peruvian food. The service was very friendly, with full recommendations and they explained each plate and asked answered all the questions we had. For drinks, we started with a delicious pisco sour. The menu is one, we had for appetizers the ceviche and the aubergines. You can choose between three main dishes. I chose the rocoto chicken. Finally, and unexpected dessert made completely from "Botija" olive. Was super delicious! Something I like is that the chef was passing by around and ask if we're enjoying the dinner. I really appreciated that.

Had an amazing night at Nazka! Such creative, flavourful and unique dishes. The staff was also very kind and I really loved the interior. Would 10/10 recommend!

Very lively and vibrant place - the way a Peruvian restaurant should be! Pisco sour could have been a little better (very watery), food was excellent; service was definitely not perfect..our waitress was not attentive enough and at the end when we said 10% tips she said she couldn’t calculate that and we had to do it ..( I mean come on.. what is this) But overall very pleasant experience! Great restaurant!

We had dinner at Nazka this evening. Both the food and the servicr was great! The pisco sour and their other cocktails were very good. The bartender made agave margarita and tequila old fashioned, on request and we really enjoyed it. The food was bursting with different flavors and it was so delicious. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some very good (Peruvian) flavored food with decent wines and great cocktails to go along with. The ambiance and the decor of the place was very chic and artistic. The overall experience was great!

Two weeks ago I was having dinner at Nazka. Beautiful experience. We've been offered the full experience with wine pair and we went for it! Scallops with the orange wine is a delicatessen. Cheeseplatter is a must try with the jalapeño!! Congratulations to the staff and the sommelier for such a beautiful experience.

Incredible experience. Top notch service & food. We did the 6 course menu (with alcohol-free pairing) and I could not recommend this enough! What a feast for our taste buds!

For quite some time I'd been wanting to dine at NAZKA and it sure did not disappoint. The service and the personnel were absolutely fantastic; very helpful and really nice. But the highlight of course was the food, especially when paired with the wines. Great selections and really tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone

Very expensive but worth a splurge for special occasions. The food is fantastic, and the only “meat” was fish and the rest are same dishes as the vegetarian options. Very innovative take on the food and we paired it with biological drinks. They are all great surprise. Service is also really good but one would expect for such an expensive place. Considering I also dined in Sazanka, a One Michelin and this is not, the amount we spent is as high.

Where to start… The attention is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, they take care of every detail to the millimeter. The dishes are incredible, and the flavors are explosive on the palate. It was our 5th anniversary and they had a very nice detail with us, just infinite thanks!!

Wow! What an amazing meal. I had a three course meal with wine pairings. Each course was so well prepared and thought through. The eggplant and chicken were the top courses I had. So delicious!

Best Peruvian food experience in The Netherlands. Professional service. Fine and sophisticated dishes, each bite is a bless. Highly recommended.

I am absolutely impressed! All 4 dishes were perfectly balanced, the pairing was complementing each dish nicely. This eggplant is to die for, if I could get it 4 times instead of other dishes I would definitely do so! One of a few set-menu restaurants that had a very tasty dessert (usually they are too fusion and not very attractive for me). But the biggest compliment goes to the lady at the bar who made a non-alcoholic cocktail for me which was wonderful and not too sweet (most of virgin cocktails taste like a drink for a 5-year old). The only thing I did not get is that starters were way bigger than the main dish. In terms of proper portion sizes it should be vice versa.

The service at Nazka is always great. Super friendly and attentive stuff. The chef always creates amazing dishes and I love to be surprised by each course every time. The food is of high quality and very unique. They also serve a vegetarian menu and accommodate food allergies or dietary requirements.
