Hands down the best sushi you will find in Amsterdam. The food and service are impeccable while the chefs take their time preparing each and every dish with precision and artistry. Every bite is something new and delicious that you won't want to end. High recommended!!

Very nice place to go to. Good atmosphere and friendly staff giving good service. Above all, the food was amazing. The prices were fair and we also got a discount because I reserved the table with TheFork app. I will definitely bring my friends to this place.

The sushi here is delicious but still I won't go back.. They don't serve tapwater even though your drinking alcoholic beverages which is a big no-no for a place like this. Also the service is very friendly but unfortunately not very fast. There just are better places that are more customer focused at this price point (its on the high side if you want to leave fulfilled). I would have given 3,5 stars if this was possible.

The food was very fresh and tasty. I am not much a sushi fan, but everyone else in the party seemed to love the sushi. The spring rolls and sauce was amazing. The chicken roll and shrimp rolls were too. The waygu beef roll was ok and probably would have been better had I used a bit of soy sauce or something.

Good service and excellent sushi. One strange thing: you must order at least one drink per person (it is not a problem). Also, they do not have enough juice choice (only apple is available). The staff is friendly and very polite, really like it. Including all notes above, it is still 5 stars for me. Recommended.

We had a blast at the restaurant✨ The service is great, and the food is excellent. The quality of the sushi is impressive. I loved being greeted with towels and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals served fast and the Japanese plum wine. This restaurant is definitely going on my hidden gem list, and I’ll be going back for sure. They were very considerate about my requests too. Loved it.

We are so happy to have discovered this great gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing, everything we have tried has always been great quality and very well prepared. Ho and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Nanbu has become one of our favorite restaurants in Amsterdam.

Great sushi selection. In this part of Amsterdam (Rivierenbuurt) it's our favorite. The staff and service is top notch.

It's not cheap but excellent food. Everything is high quality and cooked exceptionally well. The truffle halibut nigiri is a highlight and so it the five spice turbot. Service is efficent and friendly.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! My favorite was the ebi tower ! The owner is kind and knows whats up Only small pointer is that with the pancake you need a knife, and top it with hot caramel sauce😍 Reccomend

I tried a variety of sushi with two friends. Foe the price I think I expected something a little more out of this world. If was good solid sushi. I prefer less meaty options and more fish. The staff is really kind and everyone who was there seems to be regulars.

The food and also the service was perfect. My parents and I are often going to sushi restaurants, but this was the best sushi we ever tried. The sashimi was excellent, the plates are served in an beautiful way and the stuff is very friendly. Especially the miso soup was really really good. We really enjoyed the evening

If you’re looking for real Japanese food, this isn’t the place. Makis were falling apart because the rice was not sticky enough, and the roll was uneven so one side hardly had rice compared to the other, but it also had too much rice that you could not taste the Alaskan snow crab that was supposedly in it at all. The sashimi was incorrectly cut, from the work part of the fish, did not taste fresh, and to top it off the white radish they served with it on the side was spoiled! The waiter was at least gracious enough to understand when we sent that back. All in all a waste of a dinner out.
