A
male
employee
had
the
habit
of
entering
the
women's
locker
room
without
knocking
or
announcing
himself.
The
door
just
swung
open
and
he
would
march
in.
This
happened
on
several
occasions
while
women
were
fully
naked
showering
or
changing.
When
filing
a
complaint
about
this
employee
the
reply
was
"oh,
he
doesn't
mean
any
harm",
completely
ignoring
the
unpleasantness
it
creates
for
women.
Also
the
costumer
was
blamed.
Appearently
it
is
our
job
to
shout
into
the
dressing
room
that
a
male
is
entering
before
he
steps
in.
He
is
not
responsible,
it's
us,
women.
Absolutely
nothing
was
done
about
it.
I
knew
the
women
who
filed
a
complaint.
She
ended
up
canceling
her
membership
due
to
this
reply
and
the
unsafety
and
disrespect
towards
women.
The
employee
still
worked
there
and
kept
entering
the
womens
lockerroom
in
the
exact
same
fashion.
Then
weeks
later
I
overheard
women
complain
in
the
dressingroom
about
this
guy
always
walking
in.
Then
he
did
it
again
in
my
presence.
The
door
simply
swung
open
and
he
marched
in
pressing
some
buttons
on
the
lockers.
I
am
not
a
prude,
which
was
silently
suggested
by
the
staff
due
to
my
culture.
I
just
want
privacy
and
autonomy
about
which
man
sees
me
naked.
So
I
filed
a
complaint
and
this
time
included
the
owner
in
the
CC
to
make
him
aware
that
the
problem
is
not
solved
and
the
mangement
is
not
taking
it
seriously.
In
return
we
got
an
apology
and
an
offer
for
a
months
free
fitness
for
the
woman
that
left,
so
that
they
would
come
back.
However,
they
did
not
mention
that
the
guy
would
still
work
there.
His
behaviour
improved,
but
I
still
canceled
as
well,
since
the
male
staff
members
seemed
to
be
annoyed
with
me
and
refused
to
help
me
out
with
my
training.
Also
petty
remarks
near
the
lockerroom
did
not
help
getting
my
trust
back
in
these
people.
The
manager
who
told
us
that
it
was
the
costumers
responsibility
to
announce
it,
was
a
woman
by
the
way.
I
just
saw
that
they
are
targeting
women
in
their
ads
by
claiming
you
don't
get
harrassed
by
other
male
members.
While
this
is
party
true,
they
left
out
a
big
part
about
their
own
lacking
policy
when
male
employees
are
misbehaving.
They
shouldn't
take
credit
for
the
good
manners
of
male
gym
members.
I
have
no
idea
how
they
keep
winning
"best
fitness
of
the
Netherlands".
Maybe
they
are
on
the
jury.
You
can
train
here,
because
some
trainers
are
really
really
good
and
the
equipment
is
new,
but
don't
expect
them
to
deeply
care
about
your
safety
or
about
basic
manners.
For
an
overpriced
gym
like
theirs
I
expected
more.
