I have received a voucher as a gift. The booking process was smooth and I chose José as my therapist. The place is extremely clean, cozy, with a very relaxing vibe. I was very happy to get into a hands of a very positive and professional masseuse. Customer experience is also great, I had some misunderstanding how the voucher worked and emailed the team with some feedback, the team responded instantly and with full empathy. I really appreciate when I'm treated with respect and also being empathised with. So, I highly recommend Tension Tamers - you won't regret and probably it's the best massage place in town! I went there for Deep tissue massage along with my wife for 90 minutes session on Easter Day.I had back stiffness due to working from home and sitting in office chair for 8 hrs. The deep tissue massage was not up-to my expectations because the pressure that masseuse applied was not enough for deep tissue massage, I had even mentioned during my massage session that pressure is not enough. At the end season she told as she is just back from vacation and not feeling 100%. Overall I was not happy or satisfied with massage experience at Tension Tamers and it was not value for money and time I invested.

I have to admit that I was skeptical of all the good reviews. I had to use up some ClassPass credits and thought “why not?”. After trying a lot of different massages in Amsterdam and being disappointed, I wasn’t expecting much. I’m so glad I picked Tension Tamers today, I had a great massage from Leander. I feel like he worked out knots and tension that I’ve had for years- this is one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud, I definitely recommend this place!

It was my second time at Tension Tamers. It was very easy to book online, with plenty of useful information available about the massages and the therapists. They are conveniently located in the city center, easy to reach by foot or public transport. The place is clean, has a relaxing atmosphere, and the massage tables are very comfortable. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I booked a 90 min, deep tissue/trigger point massage. It's a bit pricy but well worth it. The massage was very professional and relaxing. Before starting, I was asked what issues I had and what I wanted to focus on, as well as sensitivities and what areas I would like to avoid. I highly recommend and will return again.

I really like this place and their approach to their clients. They have this wholistic approach that the relaxation doesn’t end with body only but also with mind. Went there for the second time for sports massage and left very relaxed and satisfied. I highly recommend booking with Nathan. Favourite massage place in Amsterdam. I've had sessions with a few of the therapists there, it's always been a great experience. A lot of other places feel like ticking the box exercise, but a massage here will leave you truly restored and revived.

Received a super massage session from Michiel. Including a 'Chi Nei Tsang'. This was very intense and also welcome. Later I experienced a lot of energy and peace. I had an unpleasant and frustrating experience during my first massage, which I put in my initial review. Then someone from the studio reached out to me directly to hear my story with compassion and understanding. She was kind enough to offer me a solution by allowing me to try again with a different therapist and committed to addressing the issue with the initial therapist. A few days later, she got back to me to let me know of their discussion, how the topic was addressed, and how it was received by the therapist. In spite my initial bad experience, I feel that all necessary steps were taken to rectify the situation.
