The wertheimpark is named after the Jewish philanthropist Abraham Weirtheim. It contains a foutain, a jewish WW2 memorial and 2 Sfinxes. It has some lovely winding roats with big trees that provide some excellent shade. There is also enough grassy areas along the canal to enjoy a picnic and gazing at the passing boats.

Quiet park for walking and playing with my dog. The Auschwitz monument is super important for the city, tourist point , always many turistic groups visit this place. We’re proud to have it in our city.

Small park, a relatively quiet place to sit or take your dog for a short walk.

Nice park. Unfortunately, there are many ground spots in the grass. The park has many trees, so on hot days there is enough shadow. You can also sit next to the canals.

Amazing that the Jewish community ahd to build a memorial for their people, 'thanking' the Netherlands for.... I don't really know for what. But times are turning again. Where will the next memorial be built?

The monument is very sad 😔 people have put small stones as a sign of respect 🙏 the beautiful wingnut tree 🌳 beside it is also a very fitting monument to the grief that is remembered here 😢 💔

Lovely little park, with many benches and close to a river. Only downside would be that it's a little loud and not so big.

Nice park. Nothing different than other parks around the city. However they are all very nice and definitely worth the walk.

Beautiful park within Amsterdam. Nice long trail perfect for a sunny afternoon and cycling. Simply loved it. Large, clean, many spots to discover. At sundown, it becomes magical with all the surrounding lights. Great to take the dogs for a walk and have them off-leash. The park is kept to perfection and there are trees from all over the world.
