The only positive is the location. I would avoid booking this property. It is clearly NOT a four star. It’s lucky to be a two star at a push. From start to finish it was a nightmare staying at this hotel and I feel it ruined my weekend. It is way overpriced and I was totally ripped off. It does not and is not a hotel. If anything it cools be described like an Airbnb. The rooms are dark and dingy. They smell like they have not been cleaned. The whole hotel is dated. We had issues with our bathroom on the first night. It all flooded and the room smelt like people had been smoking in there. I could not see anything and it was tiny. I tried to speak to the manager but only got to do this the next evening when I went up to the reception as our room had not been serviced or cleaned all day. In fairness the manager tries to assess our issues and moved us to another room. This too was dark and by this point anything was better than what we were in. That evening the drains in the bathroom came up and the room stank. I could not be bothered raising this again and did on check out. All in all I feel totally ripped off and I will be taking this up with customer service as my trip was awful purely down to how bad this hotel was. I avoided being in the room as it set me off into a mood as paid more than friends who were in a 3 star down the road that compared to this was luxury.

Very clean rooms, spacious and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and always happy to help. The bathroom was great, free coffee and tea along with free mini bar. Perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay here!

One of the WORST hotels we have ever stayed in. Someone had obviously vomited in the shower and the staff didn't even bother cleaning it up. When we complained to the front desk, the guy accused us of vomiting in the shower ourselves. This all happened in the first 15 minutes after checking in. Also, there were used syringes on the floor and what appeared to be mouse droppings in the bed. Don't believe the good reviews, they are most likely fake. And DO NOT stay at this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip. Pretty high standard hotel. Athough the single rooms are pretty small, they include everything I needed such as coffee/tea machine. AC at the room worked great and my room even had a balcony. The lobby on 4th floor is actually great also with smoking area and a nice view. Lobby has free coffee and tea, cozy place to relax and staff in the reception is very friendly and polite. Location is OK, but it will take you 15-20minutes to walk to De Wallen from here. I can highly recommend this hotel for short and longer stays!

Great hotel with clean room and bathroom. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. Location is great within walking distance of museums etc with excellent restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again

Oof, really wish I had read more of the reviews here- the ones that mention how shabby and depressing of a hotel the Amadi is. Cold, odd-smelling, noisy (from other rooms, in which you can hear people moving around) and spartan in a way that definitely is not minimalist chic. Also quite lacking in service- particularly given that it is difficult to find the actual hotel (it shares a sort of office building with other hotels and businesses). This absolutely should not be considered a 4 star hotel, and I feel robbed of good money for what was being actually offered. They are not positively contributing to Amsterdam’s hospitality, and you really should stay elsewhere.

This hotel is actually a disgusting and dirty cockroach palace. The room was filthy, smelled like urine and vomit and had blood stains on the bedding. The cockroaches were an added bonus (see attached pictures). The worst however was the attitude of the front desk person who actually suggested we brought the cockroaches into his hotel. This is at best a 1-star hotel that rents rooms by the hour. DO NOT STAY IN THIS DISGUSTING DUMP.

Horrible hotel. Don’t book here. Their front desk is closed between 2300-0800! What kind of hotel closes their front desk. God forbid your flights are delayed, you will be stranded with no where to go. This so-called four star hotel had me wishing I had booked a two star hostel over them…at least I would have had a place to sleep. Absolutely horrible start an Amsterdam visit and Christmas weekend.

I enjoyed my stay! I had everything I needed. The staff even personally directed me to my room.

Very bad experience, and I would highly recommend people to look for a different hotel. The overall indifference of personnel was shocking. The room was defect (balcony doors located right next to the bed would not close), it was very dusty, and there was a perpetual pee smell coming from the bathroom. At the beginning of the stay we notified the staff of the defect, but they did nothing even though we saw them 3 times and notified them of this. The indifference of the staff, coupled with the state of the rooms do not reflect a 4 stars-standard.

Lovely rooms, very very comfortable beds!! Best beds we’ve have our whole Europe trip. However they did cancel our booking a week before our stay without notice because our card declined, and then they couldn’t tell us how much was meant to be on the card. Had to re book the the rooms again with different prices. Also we only received 1 roll of toilet paper a day Overall great hotel though, would recommend staying here if you come to Amsterdam!

For the room and the service it's way too expensive. Room was very basic and had quite a used look already even so it was clean. Heating was by climate which was barely able to heat the room in the cold nights. No breakfast option. Very noisy room (you are hearing your neighbors quite badly)

I recently stayed at Amadi Park Hotel in Amsterdam for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the complimentary drinks at the reception were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. The highlight was the small cafe behind the reception, offering a stunning view. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in Amsterdam. I highly recommend Amadi Park Hotel for its great rooms, excellent service, and beautiful views.

The location was great, the service was perfect, the amenities were good. However, the rooms were dusty, dirty and generally unmaintained. We were proposed to switch to a different room (which again was one example of the good service of the staff), but the other room was no better (even worse). We stayed at 3 hotels during this trip, and this was the only one we were disappointed in.

A case example of why the hotel star rating system is a total dud. Four stars this is not. Rooms are not in good shape nor that clean. Don't want to think that sticky spot on the floor too much. A loud place - thin walls and children from the residential apartments that share the building making noise on the hotel side. Add in some loud renovations going on in the building. The AC works, albeit focusing more on noise than cold. Reception isn't open 24h. Then again good location, bathroom works, there's a TV and a safe. But you'll find way better value-for-money hotels in the area.

Overall the hotel was nice and clean, but the guy in the reception needs some customer service training. This is in my view is a three star hotel at best.

Location is not bad. Kinda close to the central station. However, I didn't like stain on the bath towel. TV didn't work. Also, the most biggest problem is noise from outside like people talking and cars etc...Wall was thin, so I could hear from nextdoor making noise. That made me woke up early during stay. Don't forget bring earplug. I consider this hotel is 2.5 -3 stars, definitely not 4 stars.

Overall the hotel is really average, it's definitely not worth the daily rate we paid. For a 4-star hotel the expectations were much higher. The front desk is closed from 23:00-08:00, so you need to really plan in advance to arrive during their working hours, and if you need anything during the night, there's no help. The room size was good enough, there was just enough space to move around. If the rooms were arranged differently, there would be even more usable space. Regarding location, you need 25-30 minutes to walk to Red Light District. Regarding heating: we actually traveled during some cold nights, about -2 degrees celcius. The windows were not insulated at all, and you could feel the freezing air coming in from the window hitting you directly on the bed. It was terrible. We had the AC on for 24hours a day for 5 consecutive days, and it was still cold in the room, the AC was not performing at all. For me, the worst was the cleanliness. The bed sheets/shower floor/washbasin/toilet were really clean, so there was not an issue with that. The 2 big issues for me were the daily cleaning services. As we stayed for 5 consecutive nights, I could see that the floor needed cleaning as it had started to accumulate hair and fluff. Even though it was visible that it needed cleaning, it was never cleaned. Upon reaching the 5th day, the floor was really dirty. Second issue was that there was no extra toilet paper or towels provided. Just 1 toilet roll. One day I took another roll from the cleaning trolley that I found in the corridor, and the cleaning crew took it back when they saw it in my room! On our final day, after the cleaning crew finished cleaning our room, I again took another toilet paper roll, and thank God I did. During our final night we actually ran out of the provided roll and had to use the extra one that I took. Imagine if I hadn't taken it.
