The restaurant is located on a cozy square, right on the canal, with a super view. The atmosphere is perfect, and the people around are cool. In the summer, it is possible to order drinks and snacks and sit outside the restaurant by the edge of the canal. The food they offer on the tables was good but nothing really special. The menu doesn't offer a lot of vegetarian options. Price is fair, 20 euros per person, including a bottle of wine.

Great bar, with snacks and bar food available. Spacious place. Typical Dutch ‘brown cafe/ bruin cafe’. Quick and personal service. Long beer and drink menu. Long wine list which is special for bars like this. And very good bar snacks. Meals are great too. Indoor option of cafe vibe or more restaurant feeling and outdoor for people watching or staring into the Amstel.

Use to live in Amsterdam and Hesp was one of my first ‘real’ local restaurants where you can feel yourself in the city with an amazing location! As usual I’ve tried their wel famous chicken saté with indonesian style peanut sauce and this was amazing. Go for this dish and thank me later 🥜

Great place to grab some lunch, borrel or dinner at the Wesperzijde. Can get quite busy in the summer days. Be there on time and expect some wait time. Wheelchair accessible, and payments by cash and card are accepted.

We ordered some beers, we enjoyed our time, I had to leave early and payed my share at the cashier without any fuss. That's what I look for in a beer evening out: no hassle. The beers were nice, haven't ordered food so take my vote only for beverages.

This was our favourite cafe for brunch in Amsterdam, after trying quite a few. The pesto artichoke toast is great. When pondering in future if it’s time to come back to Amsterdam, I will think of this place and Winkel 43.

Used to be a great spot for lunch with variety of dishes, now only sandwiches and extremely limited choices of main courses. Pity, as it was a really good place for lunch!

Nice, cosy, warm place to sit. We had some coffee and a tea.
