It’s exactly like all ikeas. Huge. Organized. Tasty snacks. Excellent value and choice on home furniture and decorations. Got some amazing bargains in the circular area by check out. We did self service to pay and it was not easy. Recommend actually queueing for a proper register. Otherwise a great day.

Every single time I go there there is the bare minimum of personnel at the cash desk. If there are few customers, like on Sunday morning, there will always be a queue as they will keep open just one cash desk anyways. For not mentioning the self-service cash: five over 10 self-services are out of order and the assistants cannot help much as my grandma has more confidence with technology than anyone of them.

It's your standard branch of IKEA, although this one is on the large side. As always, the place is a maze and takes an incredibly long time to walk through. Plenty of mock rooms to give some inspiration. Warehouse picking area is absolutely huge. Has a restaurant although this is currently closed due to the restrictions. Only a short walk from the nearby metro station, although as always the pedestrian entrance is a bit hard to find!

Strange and a bit unpredictable navigation inside the shop. Good cafe as usual for IKEA

It’s a very big and complete home decor place, it have many floors and each floor have specific items like furniture, kitchen accessories etc. They have a cafeteria and WC 🚾 available inside. Parking is also very big and managed. On checkout there is another food counter and beat part is it’s very cheap, you can get hotdogs for €0.5..

Ikea is my nr 1 place to buy items for my house. They are always super professional, friendly and ready to help. Needless to say that it’s a largest furniture store in NL so you will always find what you are looking for..

Pathetic customer service experience. Waited for an hour for a spare part. Very disappointed with the customer service experience. To get one simple screw, i had to wait for more than an hour. If you have a day to spare then go to this place.

One of the biggest IKEA stores I have visited. It has everything you need to build a house ground up. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The food is very tasty and cheap. Ample parking space available.

Probably closes Ikea to the city of Amsterdam. You best go by car or by Train. From the train station it’s a 5 min walk through the business area. There’s also a ikea delivery center and on the ground floor, you can find people who deliver for you too. I always got lucky finding same day delivery when going downstairs the level under the exit. Ikeas own delivery would sometimes take days but the people downstairs would still deliver at night sometimes, which is great! I wish there’d be pickles and onions for the hotdogs, they didn’t seem to be in the self service area anymore.

Mixed Feelings at IKEA Review: I visited IKEA Amsterdam with high hopes, and I must commend the staff who were outstandingly helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the efficiency of the process and service here didn't match the staff's enthusiasm. A major drawback is the checkout experience; the queues are almost always long, testing your patience. And if you need an item that isn’t available for self-pick in the store floor, brace yourself for an additional wait of 30-40 minutes post-payment to collect your goods. This area is noticeably undersized for the volume of customers, which leads to an overflow into the customer service area, turning the environment into a chaotic scene. Additionally, the store's layout is quite perplexing, with several lifts connecting different floors, making it a hassle to navigate through the sections. Despite the fantastic staff, these operational inefficiencies can't be overlooked. Hoping for an improved shopping experience in future visits. One the best places if you are looking for inspiration on house design. Bunch of professional setups of living rooms, bedrooms etc, with thousands of accessories and utensils, you can spend 3 hours in the store and you won’t cover everything.

Overall nice but have some things to be improved - pros: smaland looks nice, affordable but nice food, interesting showrooms representing stores - cons: not that well managed toilets (maybe too many people are using?, esp. Women’s room on the 2nd and men’s room on the 1st floor), maze-like structure for showrooms which makes much more crowded

IKEA is nice and you usually find something that you’ll like and use. Staff usually are helpful but very relevant to department.

Ofcourse it's IKEA. 😅 There's everything you need and alot of parking. They also have a cafeteria inside incase you're hungry. So if you want to look at stuff all day, you are sorted.

Ikea is always great. This one gets really busy on the weekends. Try to go early or on a weekday instead.

Nice offering of everything you may need for your house. The only down for this location is the apathetic vibe that I got from certain staff at the cashiers. They have recently made it so that you need to pick up your furniture from downstairs. This adds another hour of wait to your day.

Worst Ikea I have ever been to. The restaurant has become really expensive for the small amount of food you get. There are about 50 cash registers in total in this store and only twelve where open, so long queues. A staff member had to check my register and didn't say a word when she came to scan my products. Not even "hi"! I wanted to buy some chocolate at the food market, I waited a few minutes at the cash register, but no employee came. So I left the chocolate at the counter and left. I think nobody would have noticed if I would have taken the chocolate with me without paying as nobody really seemed to care. In the showrooms I didn't see any employees at all so if you have a question; well, too bad.... In the restaurant you could not buy meat, only vegetarian/vegan options.

We received the best possible help from a man working at the service point (I forgot his name but he is wearing a necklace with Thor's hammer on it). He went above and beyond to help us in a pretty urgent situation. One of the best customer services experiences I've had.

IKEA, as usual, nice and always too tempting. I always come home with more than I went there for. At least I got a comfortable desk chair, what I needed! 👍🏽

A very large selection of products, excellent service. Delicious hot food. Neatly and clearly placed goods. Impeccable explanation of employees, provision of information. Various payment methods for goods. Various ways to pick up or deliver purchases (goods) to an address convenient for you. It's a pleasure to shop with you. Thank you, thank you very much.

Very good service. We ordered a product online, we were informed when to collect, and when we went to collect it was ready and available for us. Signage is not too clear but we managed. Will visit again!

Was OK, and more personal staff on the ground, helping client easy & directly... not like a 6 months ago ,they had really shorts In personal...so should be ! When client need to ask about any articles should found easy a IKEA personal. They need to hire more people in all the sections!

Perfect! Access directly from the motorway exit, very large car park, in short, everything you expect from the Swedish giant! I hate the direction of traffic imposed, but unlike others here the "shortcuts" are present everywhere and can allow you to skip several areas at once! Very clean store, pleasant and very helpful staff, nice restaurant at the 2nd buffet, a bit empty though. Possible to pick up orders from the web.

Opinion quite difficult to give. Some people of the staff is really nice and helpful, like a young guy in the Besta zone, or a lady in the sofa zone or a girl in the beds area. But some of the employees weren't helpful, we had the impression of disturbing them with our questions... Restaurant as usual Ikea shop.

The worst experience ever I bought a kitchen from IKEA & I wish I didn’t Sold me a broken dishwasher & I have been trying to get it fix for days staying on on hold for over half an hr. Each time with no help. Big companies they don’t care about the customers once they’ve sold their products.

Nice IKEA with big padling space and good food

It started well, great in-store customer service, but the delivery of our purchases went quickly bad! Not only we wasted a beautiful Spring day waiting from 8 to 16 for the delivery, at 16, we were advised that our couches and 8 chairs were DELIVERED!!!! No, we never received anything, the bell did not ring (it works!), we didn't see a truck outside the window, nothing! When we tried the chat option, we got nowhere, then we called and someone was going to look into this and call us right back, that was 2 hours ago and nothing, zero response. I am very disappointed, this is not the way to treat a customer. At this point, I just want my money back and I will never use IKEA again!!!!

🫤 I updated my review December 2023, Action removed all of their self-checkout lanes due to theft. Since then, the lines can be very long so it kind of changes the vibe of this store. It used to be easy to pop in, buy some paper towels and leave....but now a long line. It doesn't take too long, to be...

👍 This store has a lot from household appliances to snacks. This specific establishment is pretty big so you should be able to find what you need. The prices are low, as is expected for Action. This specific store has a long queue sometimes because they do not staff that many cassiers.
