We had a great experience here. This was the first place weate at after landing in Amsterdam, and it did not disappoint. The owner was super friendly. The bitterballen was super crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. And it wasn't greasy at all. My husband likes to describe it as eating stew in a ball. We also got fries with truffle mayonnaise. It was an easy and satisfying meal!

Good fries but I expected more Friet boutique had been on my wish list for a while when I finally had the chance to sit down and try their much anticipated fries. After all, they have been voted ‘best fries’ more than once. I ordered a medium portion of fries with mayonnaise. The fries were good but not as good as I hoped. Don’t get me wrong, they are fried well and not too greasy but I expected to be wowed. Some of the fries were soft and squashed. The portion was good in size. All in all, a good contender in my search for the best fries.

Got some fries and ice cream, the yogurt and lemon one are nice. At this time of the night they had a few options to chose from. They also have vegan mayo sauce, quite nice

The fries were very good. Freshly made with many different sauces. I can recommend the truffle mayonnaise. Also many other tipical Dutch snacks are available here

Fries are tasty and same for the dutch deep fried delicacies. Service is fast, no complaints. They did drop a kaassouffle on the table and put it back…..well….it’s fast food. Ice cream is also good but given the location it is very busy usually

Ice cream and fries is an evil, evil pairing of seduction for the greedy. Bold ice flavours and top chips. Just timing let us down - when ordered together, serve together - for maximum guilt

Awesome fries. The cappuccino comes with a tiny icecone with some ice of your choosing. Coffee and ice are delicious as well. There are only a few seats, since this is a small establishment.

Its always nice to try new😉 They have different kind of saucy and not only fries but they do have also lots of choices for snacks, the location is great to chill coz its relaxing neighborhood and of course their fries is perfect to have with their ice cream milkshake from tons of flavor and u have a friendly service staff over there;)

I expected to get the best fries here and although they were really good, they were not the best. It’s better than your regular snackbar, but many places that cut the fries themselves manage to have this level of quality. Rarely you find places with extraordinarily good fries and constant quality, but not here unfortunately.

Small shop with limited seating inside and outside. Their fries are gluten free, and they have multiple ice cream flavours that are also gluten-free as well as gf cones.

We come here every Saturday. Between all of their sauces I would specially recommend the pimente mayonnaise and the speciaal of oordlog. Their croquettes and the kass soufflé are also worth the visit 🤤 Good job guys!

The food was quite delicious. Croquettes were really special, as was the fried chicken. The frites reminded me a lot of English seaside chips in flavour, but with a nice crunch. Service was… typical. Disinterested, but took the money and gave the food. A little extra focus on the customer would be nice. Atmosphere… the place does a job, but it’s not somewhere I’d want to sit to eat. I found the prices a little high also.

Came all the way for city center on bike to taste the fries after getting a recommendation from a friend and it was worth the trip! The best fries I got in Amsterdam ( compared to the tourist ones in city center )

I got the regular size of fries with truffles mayonnaise, the portion is very big for one person. Fries were good, workers were nice and friendly. It has a cozy atmosphere.

It's just a junk food place, the staff are kids (which is completely fine) but they are unfriendly and not capable of explaining what they are selling. The food feels oily, and it's not tasty, the fries could be better. Regarding the atmosphere, it's a place mainly for teenagers.

Placed an order as a treat for my kids. Frites and chicken arrived soggy and not cooked properly. The frites were actually raw potato inside. I was promised a full refund by team at the shop if I emailed manager. I got a response offering two free portions of frites despite spending over €45 on completely inedible food. I was informed the chicken would have been fine since it is bought in pre-cooked before they fry it. Still, who wants to eat food that is dripping in a wet greasy coating? Whole meal went in the bin. Avoid.

Fries here are awesome! Didn't try the ice cream yet but that's what most folks in line were buying and it looks good!

Best ice cream I've had in a long time. The crew agreed 100% on all flavours purchased, including sorbets. Return visit already scheduled. Charcoal cone was yummy! Thinner cone also a great idea. Gluten free cones also available 👍

Fries were well salted and fried. I liked that the potato skin wasnt shaved off. The store sells ice cream too. There's a small park just outside the eatery to enjoy your fries or ice cream at.

Last year during pandemic the fries is pretty tasty and crunchy. I ordered online delivery. I don’t know why when I tried it today it’s not that good but the portion is big which is worth the price ! But this is a very chill and not touristy place to get fries tho !
