We hoped to have a quick bite. We ordered 1 burger to share and 2 portion fries. After 1 hour we received just our fries; we almost ate all because we were so hungry and then almost all our fries were gone we received our burger. To make it worse the burger was cold. We asked what happened and they offered to replace it with a new one. Then it took again 30minutes for a simple burger. Actually it was again cold. just like the first one. I needed to cancel my work appointment because this lunch took so long. After our visit I read all reviews and I should have know.. they actually all say the same: so slow service and no communication. If you want to relax with a good view and a drink, I recommend. But don’t go for the food..

Passed this restaurant with vegan options a few too many times and decided to stop in today while wandering around Amsterdam. Very good vegan food. I ordered a Beyond Burger served with lettuce and tomato with a pickles, very good. I ordered a side of fries which were very crispy and tasty. My partnered ordered the vegan Wings which are cauliflower based with a breading and served with a sauce. He really enjoyed the flavors. Service was amazing even though ever table was filled.

Nice location and plenty of outside tables. Terrible service, only one waiter speaking English (other were just bringing food), a lot of waiting. We didnt order any food, drinks were not the best but drinkable. Not much ice, not sure if they are generous with alcohol or fill it with some juices. If it's alcohol as described in menu, then it's a very good price (10ish eur for drink) to alcohol ratio :) don't expect tasting experience though. Wine is cheap and good (5e/glass). Toilet clogged to a point it overfloads was something we were not ready for.

Service was quick and friendly on the Monday afternoon we went there. The food we ordered - Ellis burger 2.0 and fries and chicken Caesar salad - was fabulous. And the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Service was not good, place was quite dirty. Waiters were rude. Food was okay, but overall not a great place.

Location is perfect. You can seat at a table on a bridge in the heart of Amsterdam. Took a little bit to grab the waitress attention but it wasn't so bad. The food (I had the burger with prawns and salad) was wonderful. The bun itself tasted fresh and slightly crispy on the surface but soft inside. The burger abs prawns were very flavorful, good quality. Between gourmet burger, salad and beer I got away with under €25.

Great location for having a nice, delicious burger with traditional Belgian fries which got an 8 out of 10 from my Belgian friend. :) The restaurant is located in a peaceful area of Amsterdam (about 10 minutes from the Central Station) and it is a cozy, small and friendly place to eat. There is also a good selection of beers in the menu. All in all, I discovered this place by chance and I enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.

disappointing burger because twice it was served to me very undercooked (first was raw) . when i brought to the attention of the server he looked at it and said “its raw?” so i had to knock off some stars for service because come on yes it is. when i got it back about 10 mins later it was delicious but still raw on the bottom and literally temperature cold. i ate it anyway bc i was in a rush. the fries were great, the salad had old greens smell so i didn’t touch it. overall i would literally never eat here again.

Perfect hamburger and the best vegan Burger I Ve tried so far. The place is really small but the service was really quick even if the restaurant was full. The sweet potato were really good and the salad as well. Raccomended

Great burger. Very high quality meat and fresh vegetables. They also have a wide selection of their signatures.

Near the centre, really tasty food and also the lemonade was really good. the personal is cordial. I will come back surely

We‘ve been waiting for more than 30 minutes until the waitress came to take our order. The burger was okay but nothing special. After we finished our meal we had to wait another 20 minutes until I had enough and called the waitress and asked if we can pay. She came to our table and told me that we need to pay inside, she left our table but didn‘t take the empty plates with her. I would totally understand this if she would have been busy but the only thing the waitress was doing, was walking around and look at the empty plates of the guests. When I went inside to pay, the man at the desk (I assume it was the manager) just complained that we didn‘t give a tip.

15 euros for this 😡 ripping people off ! Probably less than half a chicken breast and lettuce ... that's it . This salad was more expensive than a burger, this is not right

Really good food. The Ellis Special 2.0 is amazing. The Beyond Burger (vegetarian) is also really good. My wife and I had a lovely day with good food, a cold beer and an amazing view to the canals.

Fantastic. Super-friendly staff getting fantastic burgers out really quickly. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by too. Recommended - shame there isn't one of these a bit nearer to home!

The ice tea and burger was top notch. Just a little disappointed when I heard waitress ask for cooking level of burger.. Mine was just a little bit on the medium rare side. Which was OK. But still .. The little gems salad . Perfect

Pretty decent. Not the BEST and most flavorful burger I’ve ever had, but well prepared, good and quick table service outside. The fries left something to be desired. Orange ginger lemonade was delicious.
