Awesome!! The waitress was very nice to us and everybody was super polite. They all talked in English, even among themselves. You just scan the QR code and start ordering, so you don’t have the pressure to decide and then the food comes fast and everything is delicious!! We ordered nachos (with vegan cheese) and two burgers. It was truly incredible how tasty it was. We recommend it 100%

Simply amazing!!! Amsterdam in general is great for vegan food but this place might be one of the best. Food was extremely filling and even the non-vegan in our group was blown away. Staff are great, good location with outdoor seating for a sunny day. Their app they use for ordering seems a bit slow or awkward for the staff to use so hopefully they get that sorted or use a new system but I didn’t impact the meal - just seemed like the staff didn’t like just it. Overall if you’re vegan - 100% come here. If you’re not it’s worth a try ;)

Overview; would be great at half the price. The food here was okay, but very overpriced. I had the sumo burger, which is a beef/chicken combo. It was fine, but covered in sauce which was the most powerful flavour, so you didn't get much from the actual patties. I also ordered some breaded satay balls, but these mostly tasted of lemongrass, and you hardly taste the peanut. Something I noticed looking through the menu is they have some very brightly coloured sauces, probably full of food colouring. That's a hard pass for me. I had a very long wait for food. I was trying to save my drink to have with food, but even then I had to order a second. Maybe it's just because of the area, but €15 for a burger only is very steep! Service was poor. I waited at the door to be seated, but other people who turned up at other spots got seated before me. Food is ordered via a QR code, but you can't pay this way. There seemed to be a lot of staff, but they didn't come round often, and I ended up walking inside to find someone to let me pay. When I first went vegan, l would have killed for somewhere like this. But in 2023, competition is hard, and this was just "fine"

Always love coming here for vegan comfort food. The burgers are delicious and the loaded fries are great for sharing! I highly recommend trying the vegan calamari if you haven’t already… it tasted like the real deal.

I got to try some of the notorious sumo burger, which had crispy 'chicken' and 'cheese' on it, and boy oh boy.. that cheese: it was melted, and it was cheesy! Just such a nice strong cheesy flavour. The same goes for the 'chicken'. I myself had the shawarma burger, which also was very good. The portion was super big though. For a small person a bit too much I'd say, but you can take the rest to go. So no real complaints there, just a bit odd compared to the other burgers. The fries or the sauces were neither special nor underwhelming, the service was good, and the ambiance is great and fitting.

Great place to try vegan food. We were happy there was no line as it always seems to be busy. They have so many options that it was hard to choose. A must try are the vegan bitterballen: they are just delicious. Service was very friendly and helpful. Be aware your phone needs to be charged as you order through their website. Hope to go there again soon.

I've dined here a few times. The food is good. Quality and taste wise it's not spectacular but I think part of why you'd come here is the Instagramable blue sauce on your burger. A new feature was the ordering system. You do this with a QR code on your table that brings you to the English menu where you can pick your items from, and you do not see anyone of the waitstaff until they bring you the drinks and food (they will get you seated, of course). The payment is through the waitstaff, so not beforehand. I don't think I'm too much of a fan of this system, as it feels very impersonal. The staff, when you do see them, are nice enough. I find myself writing this review in English, as that is the language spoken here, as is almost the norm that Dutch is just not spoken in Amsterdam.

Really cool concept, and I loved the vibe here. The food is surprisingly good, and cruelty free. The place has great music. The staff was friendly enough. I would give this a 4 star, but the drink I had makes the experience a 5. Probably the best drink I've had in my life! It's a bit of a walk, if you're staying in the city center, but totally worth it. A bit pricy, but also worth it. My girlfriend was a bit disappointed by the fact that they didn't have a gluten free option for burgers. We came in a bit late (around 8:45) and wish it was open a bit later. It closes at 10. Would have loved to stay there a bit longer to have a few more drinks, but that's our own fault for coming in late, to be honest.

We came because we saw many of our friends come here, and we were not disappointed. I'm not vegan myself but the rib burger did not leave me wanting, it was amazing. It was busy and there was a queue to eat, but they have enough seating that people are leaving frequently making the queue move at a nice pace. I would put the food on the slightly pricier end of the spectrum, but not too expensive. The staff are friendly and serve you promptly without making you feel rushed. So a great restaurant and would recommend for anyone, even carnivores.

I took a group of colleagues from all over the world here for dinner so everyone was able to eat anything on the menu :) The vibe was nice and our server who had only worked there for 5 days as he told us, did an excellent job, friendly, fun and professional. The food was great, lots of choices and all of them tasted great. The burger and the shawarma were a hit. Also honorable mention to the smiley fries and the virgin coco drink. This is my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. I have taken many meat lovers here and they have even told me they liked the food. As the name suggests, it is ‘junk’ food so it is all sorts of foods that you have enjoyed throughout your life made in a vegan way. From ribs, to burgers, to fish, to better balls, and kapsalon, you can have whatever you wish without worry if you are a vegetarian/vegan. I highly recommend this place. I went for the slider variety and my partner got the “Daddy” burger. We shared she shawarma fries which stole the show for both of us. All staff we encountered were friendly and relaxed. We liked ordering from our phones because we didn’t feel rushed to make choices for our meal. Nice outdoor seating area! We would definitely go back.

I was quite skeptical about this place because I'm not a fan of vegan food especially for fake meat and the coloured burgers didn't appealed to me. However I need to admit I was positively suprised to really enjoy the burger and didn't find it too dry as most fake meat I've tasted. The quantity was also really generous apart for the trio of small burgers which was quite small for the price. The only thing I didn't like was the ordering process which you do via your phone. It's personal but I like human contact when I dine out. But we were served fast so it has it's advantages too.

Liked this a lot. Pretty huge selection of vegan food. The fries and burgers were amazing, but the star was the flamboyant shrimp. So so good. Better than normal prawns. Good for small groups and we got a table at 7pm on a Saturday by just dropping by. I was not hugely keen on the vegan mayonnaise, so perhaps ask that to be separate from your loaded fries, but that's just me. Decent selection of drinks too, but I did not try a cocktail.

We tried the large mix fried platter that gave us a taste of everything and, with a side of french fries, satisfied the 2 of us. If you're vegan it's a great place, but if you just want to try something different I can still recommend going here. I LOVED the Vegan Junk Food Bad! Not gonna lie, the meals are pricey, but so are a lot of Restaurants in Amsterdam. One of the top vegan burgers I’ve had, without a doubt. I got the smash burger (minus the jalapeños) and it was awesome—still a great flavor combination with a sub of the vegan mayo as the sauce instead. Fries were good, but pretty average and I wouldn’t get the pink sauce again (it was a little too sweet for my liking with fries) and would stick to just the vegan mayo & ketchup next time. Waiting on the line to have a table was the easy part, because after we ordered two burgers, fries a coke and a beer, they quickly sent to the table the beverages and the food only more than ONE HOUR LATER. Food looked really nice and tasted good as well but the burger was a bit dry, I’d personally like to have more sauce in it but that’s just my preference. The waitresses are really sweet and the service is pretty fast! One more thing to mention, you have to wait to be seated and they try to fill out downstairs first so if you don’t feel comfortable eating in a crowded space keep that in mind.
