As a Spaniard, I normally avoid Spanish restaurants in The Netherlands (I have been living here for 5 years) because the quality of the food is much worse than Spain. This is the first restaurant where the food is similar to what I can get in Spain. The portions are pretty large, the food is tasty, the price is fair, and the place has an authentic Spanish vibe. Highly recommend.

I liked everything and can recommend the place. They have a kind service, lovely atmosphere and good food. Tapas and paella were good! And yes, you can find better Spanish food in Spain, but in Amsterdam this place is the best so far. The only cons - we had to wait for paella 40 minutes, but maybe just because we were first clients and came just after opening. Also, they can improve their soft drink selection.

I was happy to finally see a good Spanish restaurant in Amsterdam. The place looks neatly designed with a cool ambient to sit. A bit loud, but again that’s Spanish vibes. The food was really good for tapas, and everything we ordered had very good taste. The staff are super friendly and helpful

For Amsterdam standards duende dos is a really good Spanish restaurant. They have a large menu and the food is really delicious. Though they tried to get rid of us after ~1.5 hours, so they could serve more people.

Excellent seafood with a huge variety of options for meat, fish, and vegetables. Highly recommend the tomato salad as a starter! Favorite restaurant in Amsterdam!

Authentic Spanish cuisine - exactly what you would find in Spain (no fusion or local dutch twist.. truly Spanish!). There's meat and seafood dishes. It also has paella! Great service, very friendly! The full team at the restaurant, if not mistaken are all Spaniards. Everyone speaks Spanish.. makes other Spanish speakers feel right at home. It's usually packed. Suggest you try to get a reservation. or you can try getting a seat at the bar which makes it feel like you are in Spain. :) Bonus: they allow a small dog to accompany us

It is fully packed. Reservation is recommended and dining time is one hour. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. They clean up the table quickly as table is small while the tapas are served with many. The tapas are really good and affordable in Amsterdam. It is quite a lot to share by my friend and I. The sangria taste very smooth and sweet too. The place is dog friendly too. The place maybe a little noisy but u can still talk to your friend. The place is cozy.

Super tasty food. I can not recommend more to try portions of tortilla and croquetas. They also have a great paella and flan. Superb attention. If you enjoy Spanish food and speak the language this restaurant is a must in your list.

A genuine Spanish experience. Most staff come from Spain and have a great banter going on. That together with the food and the overall vibe transported us right back to Barcelona. We sat by the bar, had the ensalada rusa ( outstanding) , croquetas, squid, pan con tomate and ropa vieja. Best Spanish tapas in town. Todo diez puntos, muchas gracias por recibirnos!

Delicious Spanish food and cute restaurant. The service was a bit messy but you could see they were overwhelmed by the amount of people. However the staff was nice and lovely, and the price is really good for Amsterdam!

Popular delicious Spanish restaurant. I would recommend reservations (definitely for weekend dinners). It can be a bit loud but mostly in a fun way. I agree with the reviews mentioning the sangria - it tasted like one of my favorite places in Spain. So good! The food was so good. I want to go back to try more dishes since we couldn’t order everything we wanted. The grilled thin cut ribeye was so good. Tender and spicy! The shrimp with garlic were so garlicky and delicious. And the garlic cloves in the hot olive oil in the dish are a treat! Service was good. The guys were all friendly and hustled. I will definitely be back!

Reasonable price in AMS. Gezellig place. All tapas we ordered are recommended, especially the bread with tomato sauce, really simple dish, yet amazing taste! Even though crowded, all food served fast and good service.

Very nice Spanish restaurants. The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is lively. It is the closest you can find to eating in Spain. We ate croquetas (the chorizo ones were awesome), fried fish was amazing, pimientos... everything was good. They have a wine they bring specially for their restaurant (house wine) it was really nice. Reserve a table as it is packed.

No complaints! Vibe is awesome, people are nice (if you speak Spanish, this helps). Food is awesome! We went in a large group so we were able to try a bit of everything! Tapas style of course! We also had paella! Enough food but at the same time you pay for it. I tend to recommend larger group for tapas because you get to try different things for "cheaper". If you're just 2 people, you can maybe try 4 to 5 things max and you pay a lot more for it too. Anyways, you get what I'm saying. I loved the jambon section, tortilla (Spanish omelette), squids, pimientos (I don't like potato's so didn't try the bravas)! Can't go wrong even my Spanish friend said she'll be back! There's some credibility for you 👍

Amazing food and service! We went there for lunch on a Saturday and stayed the all afternoon to eat and drink! The tapas were amazing and authentic to what the Spanish cuisine is! The sangria was so good that we drank 6L (for 5 ppl 😅), the owner even offered us a litter at the end of our meals.

Amazing tapas restaurant where a lot of Spanish people eat and the food was amazing.

Very good spanish tapas restaurant with nice menu. Prices are quite reasonable. The only issue is that Duendo Dos has a limited space but usually a lot of people, so you might be sitting very close to the next table. Also recommend reserving a table a few days before if you want to secure your table.

Real Spanish restaurant run by Spanish people in Amsterdam. The ambience is loud and vibrant, the tapas and the paella are excellent! Fair prices. Totally recommend!

This restaurant had good reviews so we tried it. Reviews were right! Loved this place. It’s has a lively vibe and friendly staff. We used Google Translate to read the menu. That was very helpful. I recommend the bread with garlic aioli, meatballs, garlic chicken and the ribeye. The meats come sliced thin and perfectly tender and delicious. Servings were generous.

After being disappointed with other Spanish restaurants in other countries, I finally found a more than decent place. Not only that, their food really tastes like back home. Great food, adjusted quality-price, and pretty good service. Worth it!

Tastes just like the tapas and paella in Valencia and Madrid 😋 Perfectly cooked. Go on a Sunday to get the deal on paella with chicken and seafood. I liked the sangria too.

Very nice restaurant! We ordered paella and it was really delicious. The meatballs and patatas bravas as starters were also delicious. Did not like the sangria too much as tasted as artificial flavours and it was too sweet. Next time will probable order some wine instead. Food is delicious and not too expensive. Very recommended and always reserve as the place was full.

Good tapas, with a couple vegetarian options. Loved the chocolate mousse! It’s quite busy so better book a table.

Delicious food, came on a Sunday (without reservation, but I'd recommend you have one) and it happened to be Sunday Paella night! Servers were friendly and seemed to treat his regulars like family. Only ding is no English menu.
