First time I tried this cosmetologist 3 months ago, after the COVID lockdown my skin needed some real care and deep cleaning (extractions), my pores were clogged and my skin looked dull. I do have a regular daytime/nighttime routine however I felt I needed some extra help. After my first appointment, I made already appointments for 3 months in advance, as they book up quickly. I love how much attention Myrthe and Debora give to my skin. I love all the masks after the intense cleaning session. I love the way my skin looks and feels supple and elastic. I also got a few products, to replace some of mine. I enjoy the sessions, and appreciate Myrthe's work and patience. She is truly dedicated to her craft.

I have been going to Debora for I think 1 year now, and I can highly recommend her. She knows what to do with your skin and helped my skin (with previously a lot of inflammation and acne) to be glowy and healthy again. The treatment is personal, very relaxing and you really feel they know what's best for you personally (and not a standard routine). Also, she is very kind, what is also a big plus since you're in her chair for 60-90 minutes most of the time.

Excellent experience at Van Ilse. I went for a 90 min facial with skin analysis and treatment. Van Ilse only welcomes one customer at a time which makes the experience extra special. Not only do I see significant improvement on my skin after a week, I also understand what I had been doing wrong in the past, and how to take care of my skin on a daily basis. Highly recommended!

Life-changing for me. I suffer from rosacea and very sensitive skin. After moving to Amsterdam my skin became even more out of control. I actually visited another skin therapist in Amsterdam to try and relieve the symptoms but wasn't getting any results. I emailed van Ilse on a whim to see if they could fit me in before my upcoming holiday. They responded extremely quickly and actually fit me in on a Sunday. The treatment was incredible and the skin therapist was kind, attentive and very knowledgable. I invested in all of the products she recommended. So far I have visited the salon three times and every time I leave I feel so refreshed. Not only it is a nice and relaxing place to go to, but it the treatments helped my skin a lot. I have been trying a place after place in order for my skin to improve, but in never worked as much as this place. I have my sessions with Debora, who is super nice and always guides me through what is happening. We always talk about the ways how to further improve my skin and therefore choose the upcoming treatments accordingly. Already after the first appointment my skin cleared up so much and had a glowy feeling ever since. I would recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with their acne and were not yet able to be find a treatment that could fix that.
