This area has a lot of Korean restaurants. We just walked in this one without plan or reservation. It is a small and cozy place with not many seats. We ordered the Korean hot pot and Japanese style fried chicken. The hot pot has instant noodles, tofu, kimchi, pork slices, and is served with 2 bowls of rice. Very good and warm food for a cold weather.

Very small restaurant, so make sure you have a reservation! Boiled dumplings were ok, nothing special. Samgyupsal had to be ordered per person, with a minimum of 2 persons. It was grilled at the table, very good! Loved the jjajiangmyun! Tasted exactly how it should be.

If you are looking for good Korean, look no further. We ordered the classic bibimbap which was great. Also the we ordered noodle dish with egg on top. A roasted chicken dish in red sauce with lettuce. All pics below. You will find lots of Koreans there, speaking to it's authenticity. Enjoy and the service is polite!

Amazing authentic Korean restaurant with great Beef BBQ and Seafood pancake! Definitely worth visiting!

A lovely place. Really authentic mom and pop restaurant. Tastes are like being in Korea. The pork bbq was great, the kimchi omelette tasty and just very reasonably priced. Make reservations because it is popular (obviously) highly recommend.

Best Korean in town! Love the kimchi pancake. Any dish you order, always great taste. Only improvement would be to have some desserts on the menu.. we missed something sweet after dinner.

Khan is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. if you are looking for authentic Korean food, Khan is the place to go. Their staff is a bit new, but very friendly. Note that you'd better call in advance to book a table, it's often quite full.

Authentic, that is the perfect word to summarize our experience. We heard of Khan for its great authenticity from a friend; and decided to try out. We quickly understood why everything there looks so simple. The focus was entirely on the foods, the simple setup, and how it reflects the owners’ humbleness. The place is decent and the service was excellent. The owner is very friendly and patience to explain the food and how to enjoy it. We could tell they put their heart into it. The dishes are amazing! Not only by the look but also to the taste. The Naengmyeon is definitely worth a try (beside the flavourful boiled pork and grilled beef). The cold noodle looks indeed very deceivingly unattractive. However, the simplicity and subtlety are all Naengmyeon about. The noodle is the star of the bowl and you have the feeling of continuously looking for the next subtle hint of taste. That keeps you wonder. Definitely will come back for more! Thanks for the authentic experience.

Really sweet staff! The food is exceptional! Really generous portions too. We loved our dishes, except the seafood pancake. That one was still okay though, but nothing special. Sadly it also didn’t contain a lot of seafood The chapchae and the seafood with vegetable soup made up for it ;) We were lucky as we got a table immediately without a reservation. I do advice to reserve a table since it’s a popular restaurant.

We reserved a table a day before—and thankfully did that because on the day we arrived, they were fully booked. So it’s better to reserve. We ordered pork bulgogi, kimchi pancake, yukkejang and fried chicken. The first three were delicious and flavorful, but the fried chicken wasn’t up to the standard of the other dishes. It was a bit bland and not crispy. However the other dishes we ordered were so delicious, and were so satisfying.

Very nice staff and delicious food. Definitely my favorite Korean food place in Amsterdam and surroundings!

Found this place by coincidence, looked like a family ran restaurant, everyone is working there Korean , although there was only one waiter and the boss . The food was more authentic than other places I’ve tried in Amsterdam but it’s way too pricy , the bbq requires to order for two person which doesn’t make sense! And also every dish was sweet , too sweet . Don’t think I’ll go again .

We visited this restaurant 3 weeks ago, the food is fresh, typical korean dish. Recommended their Seafood pancake & Meat BBQ. Not many options for deserts. Inside there are few tables and seats, make sure you made an reservation, normally drop by doesn't get a table.

I loved the atmosphere here. It felt like i was invited to this lovely korean family home. I got a private room with my friends and we absolutely loved the experience. They made sure we had everything we asked for and they were very nice to us the whole evening. The food was amazing and super authentic. My friends and i definitely loved all the korean pancakes and the suyuk was amazingly soft. I loved every bite i had here! The sundubu jjigae was amazing and if you’re ever craving this then i would recommend u get it here! Definitely would come again

Absolutely delicious food. The pork/squid bulgogi has layers of flavour, will definitely try the other variations again. Very decently priced and with nice service. It's no news you need to make reservations, many people came by and left with sadness in their eyes.

Reasonable Korean restaurant. Menu seems basic, typical Korean dishes. Not a lot of creativity or originality, but maybe that’s not what the typical client wants. Restaurant is filled with Korean expats and Dutch with Korean roots.
