Good hotel with alot of sitting space. Their sauses are highlight and good for people who like spicey food. Tried lamb chops and white creamy noddles. Lamb chops were tastey. Highly recommended. Tried over weekend slightly before dinner so seats werr available and it has good seating space. Clean atmosphere.

Alhamdulillah, Halal food in Amsterdam. Has the sincerity to be truly halal as they don't serve liquor. Nice and clean cosy restaurant, eat in the warmth when it's cold outside. Service is friendly for the one taking my order. The one who accept my payment can be more friendly towards a fellow Muslim brother. Will come again when I'm back at Amsterdam insha'Allah and recommend to my KL Kia friends.

Clean restaurant food was good but the service took a very long time. Management wasn’t that nice and there wasn’t even a complimentary water pitcher while waiting for the food.

My favorite style of Shoarma. Tried it in Frankfurt, Cologne, Berlin and in Egypt. This is the most tasty one and only served this way in Amsterdam, as far as I know yet. A bun with lots of meat, perfectly spiced and the three sauces. Very friendly owner, told me everything I wanted to know about it.

My main concern about this restaurant is hygiene, we asked for some ketchup and the guy who was handling the garbage bin at the time went to pour the ketchup into a container and didn't wash his hands. He didn't wash his hands before you put ketchup and he didn't wash his hands before he started dealing with other customers. Average food. we had some kebabs on the flavor of the meat wasn't bad but the fries were average and the salad was blah.

Halal restaurant. Tried the ribs and mixed grill. It was quite good. Bigger dining area at the back of the restaurant. Toilet no bidet/water. Some problem with credit card machine. Prepare to pay cash.

We visited this restaurant randomly and was surprised to see so many options from the menu!! They have wide varieties of food available. I was in the mood to try some seafood teller and it was honestly very fresh and delicious especially squid rings. Everything else that we ordered here was nice and tasted good as well.

Rude and dishonourable service. Buy a kebab and then get told can’t put the salad on that is put out for you. Got yelled out for putting salad on we paid for then told to get out after we paid for a meal and there’s seats available. Messaged and asked if they allow eat in and they said yes… a lie if I ever read one. What a shame.

Should try their ribs n kebabs. Best in town.

Masha'Allah were good food and quick service. Would have rated 5 but they don't accept international credit cards, come on its a tourist place.

We discovered this place as we were walking back from visiting the museum. We decided to give it a try and did not regret it. There was a lot of dishes on the menu. I had the spare ribs and it was excellent. Would order it again. I also ordered the onion soup but that was very average.

Staff were friendly . Food was nice good for A quick bite whilst in the centre

Good meal but a little bit expensive.

Don't be fooled by their unassuming minimal decor. It's clearly a mom and pop shop, with focus on serving great food. Hubby and I went back twice to get their mixed grill and falafel platter. I kid you not, the shawerma was seasoned to perfection and falafels were not dry AF. We loved it!!! And would go back again next time we're back in Amsterdam.

My go to restaurant whenever I'm in Amsterdam. The taste and food quality maintain as good as my 1st visit in 2013.

5* because there is a prayer facility at the bottom although it is small. Food took a long time to come but it is very nice. The portions could have been much bigger! Bread and sauces should be free and not paid for.

Mmmmmm falafel with really excellent salad that you pick yourself. Ohhhhmmmmm noms. Seriously. Mmmmmmm. And open very late.

Staff do not speak good English, they are a little bit rude !! And they do not communicate properly between themselves... I ordered a Pitta Sharwarma and they gave me a Pizza Sharwarma !!! The food was good though !! They gave me what i ordered after my complain... I went twice to this restaurant. My second experience wasn't so good due to the language barrier of workers there. I would say the food is not bad...

Rude employee, cook was just on Bluetooth whole time (up front), and both seemed annoyed we didn't get a big order. Haven't been to the other place nearby, but will go there next time.

If you walk from the Flower Market to Leidseplein you will pass a lot of Shops. But short before Leidseplain there is a small entry to the Restaurant. It looks small from the outside but is really big in the back. If you like the "classic" Shoarma like they prepare the durch Shoarma Restaurants with the three great Sauces (garlic, tomato onion and hot) this is for you. Always fresh prepared it just tastes great. I have tasted a lot of those Restaurants but I always come back here. They are also preparing other arab plates like Kebab, Shashlik, Lamb, Chicken and also Schnitzel ect. Of course also great Hummus. Fast and friendly people who will serve you. Give it a try if you like this kind of food, you will not be dissapointed.

Good food, good customer service, nice restaurant, the employees are nice. I wish they had a restroom on the first floor so we don't have to go upstairs. Reasonable price.

The food was good, the place was nice and the music calming. It's all i need.

Food was okay. Was kinda dry. Had the mixed grill and it tasted weird. The service was decent. No major complaints. Will not go there again as food quality wasn’t as expected.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is a positive one, it's well lit and the staff are very friendly and they've even got a fish tank. The pizza that I ordered (chicken tandoori) and the chicken mix grill that my partner ordered were very tasty. The only thing this place lacks is a card machine, the employee told me they don't accept card, but there was a card machine behind the counter which I found a bit odd.

Nice and enjoyable halal food in amesterdam, everything was good. The only thing that I found it kind of awkward is not having cash because you can't pay with visa or master card

Tried two dishes here when I last visited this place. Had the Beef Ribs and Spaghetti Bolognese. Both dishes were well prepared and I do enjoyed it. One of an authentic Halal joint that you can find when you are in Amsterdam.

Little restaurant serving fantastic kebabs amongst other things. Staff were happy and smiley. Food was very good actually although I didn't think it would be, I was wrong. Try it out.

Food here is excellent. Our group of 8 persons has ordered almost different dishes: pizza al fingi, piazza pasta, grilled lamb, chicken kip, napolitan pizza...and everything is amazingly good. We were lucky to crash during rain into this place and got quite good meals with pops for about 12$ per person. I will be back if possible to try the grilled lamb....

I had the best Shawarma at Crystal, food was so tasty and sufficient, staff were friendly. I definitely recommend it and will repeat the experience!
