Unfortunately for me, I had a terrible experience here. As one who is not new to laser treatments, I decided to come here due to the location and reviews. I must say.. I did not see pictures of dark skinned people but did see the advertisements also including dark skin. I should’ve trusted my gut feeling. The person who helped me was very sweet! Very nice and I do not blame her completely. But I do think that when I mentioned never ever to have felt this pain before that she should’ve stopped. Clients trust the professionals so when they give green light to proceed, we trust it. But i’m not doing that again obviously. I do believe there might have been other factors because that weekend was warm as well (I avoided the sun and used sunscreen every few hours) I got burnt VERY VERY bad and it got worse every day.. and it was very painful to sleep at night. I could not get a refund because the service was already performed but I got offered another service free of charge (which I did not trust or want) or a free product worth the amount of the service. I took the product and bought other products at Kruidvat myself. My wedding was a few months ahead so I needed to heal fast! This review is not to shame anyone but more so to share my experience so that people with a similar skin tone are well informed and won’t go through what I went through. The choice is yours!

Such a great location in Amsterdam with super amazing people!!! I came here almost 2 years go for the first time, and I will not change it ever! I started with pixel laser for hyperpigmentation and acne scars, and moved to hair removal laser. The process is always well explained and the girls really care a lot, so I am never in pain. I have been a JLC customer for about 15 treatments in total. The reception and further communication is pleasant and I am always included in the process that the ladies carry out. That couldn't be otherwise because the team consists of fun and spontaneous ladies. In terms of results, I am more than satisfied with several treatments, such as the peels in combination with the DermaPen and laser hair removal. I previously had spots and small scars on my face and the results were noticeable after the first treatment. I also did a Pixel treatment once. I personally found it quite painless, although the downtime is something to take into account. After the full recovery I found my skin feeling very soft and smooth, so that is definitely a plus.

I had treatments at JLC ​​to get rid of my acne and scars. I did a combination of peels and microneedling and am super happy with the results! My skin is calm again and the scars have become so much less. It was more than worth it! Furthermore, the staff is very nice and the skin therapists really take the time for you.

As my skin is very sensitive, I was afraid of getting laser hair removal treatments. However, after seeing the good reviews of JLC and comparing it with other places in Amsterdam, I decided to go to the intake and see how it goes. Immediately after this, I noticed that my sensitive skin did not get irritated at all. Also, 2 weeks after the treatment, my hair started to fall off. Some spots did not grow back, while other spots grew thiner and lighter hair. Now, after 6 treatments, the results are more evident. Almost all the hairs have not grown back and I feel more confident than ever. Thank you to the staff at JLC! They have always been very helpful, attentive, friendly, and professional 👍🏻

Professional and precise hair removal clinic. The salon is very clean and while not completely painless, the sessions are doable. Although not all hairs disappear, there are way less than before the treatment. Very friendly and helpful staff!
