Lovely spot - fresh fish and helpful ladies on the counter! loved their fried fish, herring is good too and niiice salmon salad

I went in and told them I was a tourist staying around the corner and wanted to try whatever they recommended. Everything I ate was so delicious I went back every day after that for more. Months later, I find myself craving this place.

At the end of the afternoon I bought me two piece of fresh fried warm sole. If outside temperature was not that low, I would have start eating next to a canal nearby.

I say yes (delicious) to the HARING hap! And no(t so much) to the KIBBELING today. The kibbeling might have been waiting for too long in the chafing dish.

I visit this vendor on every trip to Holland. I absolutely love everything they sell.

This place isn't in the center of Amsterdam but is worth the trek if you love new catch herring! We ate at 6 places for new catch herring during our weekend in Amsterdam and these were the absolute best. These were absolutely delicious; the little fish were by far the best we'd ever had (and actually the best - and cheapest - we ended up having during a weekend in Amsterdam).

Dutch herring and the kibbeling was amazing. Not the fan of the cold paella, bit bland. Produce was fresh.

Absolutely fenominal fish place. I go her every week and not once have I not been impressed by the quality. Even the fried fish here is just on another level compared to other fish places. It just tastes fresher here! Definitely a full recommend if you're in the area ^^

extremely nice gentleman, very attentive and in a such good mood, patient with curious tourists, he made it such a nice memory to come back for us, and the herring was fresh, I will not say really good cause I'm not a fan of fish, but my husband did like like it and enjoyed eating like the locals do.

Being rude is the most common sign of unhappiness. Wish them well.
