Really nice people, good instructions, good price, nice electric boat and nice location! Make sure to book at least 2 hours if you want to do a full tour of the city. Best is 4 and comfortable is 3 hours. Pack a picnic (plastic free would be best), and enjoy a nice tour of Amsterdam!

A unique experience, but quite difficult for those who have never sailed. We were given maps and rules as well as instructions on how to navigate the boat. Time on the boat was really fun with good memories. You guy should try it!

Must do if you are in Amsterdam. We got the Green boat which are electric.2 speed easy to steer. Takes up to 6 people but 4 is optimal. Handle steer is more responsive than the actual steering wheel equipped one in my opinion.

The light festival at night is really nice! Perfect for a romantic date to cruise through the canal. I would strongly recommend it!

We had a very good experience renting a boat for 6 people. Friendly staff with good instructions. The boat has plently of room and was easy to use. We toured for 2 hrs. I think 3 hrs would have been nicer...to go into the smaller canals and explore. Overall we had a fun time. Don't forget to bring snacks, drinks and sun cream. Highly recommended!

Very good experience, 100% recommand. The staff are lovely and very helpful with good explanation. The boat is easy to use and huge for a couple (it takes up to 6p). The only hick-up is that's a bit far from the center and so you lose a few minutes before reaching the canals and really starting your balade

Great way to see the city from the water. We were looking for a nice way to spend an evening with some friends and the idea of renting a boat came up. We were a group of 8 so not any boat would do. We ended up renting a boat from canal motorboats. First of all, the online experience was great. Renting a boat was very easy. Once we got to the location, we were received by 2 very friendly people. Unfortunately 2 people from our group got lost and came in late but the friendly staff told us we could still go on a 2 hour trip as was ordered. The boat itself was comfortable and quiet. We received a map with a route so we wouldn’t get lost. We had a great evening. Thank you Canal Motorboats.

One of the best experiences while at Amsterdam was doing the boat cruise through the canal. One can rent a boat at reasonable price from Canal Motorboats, and sail yourself along the canals of this city. It is a unique experience that only Amsterdam can provide to you. We rented a boat which has a steering wheel like a car, and sailing the boat is just like driving a car. It was fun family time with absolute privacy. The experience with Canal Motor Boats was very pleasant. Their staff was very Cordial and helpful. Their office cum Harbour is centrally located at Amsterdam city, it was a five minute travel via public bus from Amsterdam Central Railway Station. We would definitely repeat the tour when we revisit Amsterdam.

Renting a boat in AMS is great experience to get a completely different views of the city. OK customer service but the cushions weren't like in the fotos. They were thinner and dirty.

SO much fun! It was great being about to drive our own boat with just us and explore at our own pace! They give great instructions on how to operate the boat, route recommendations, and the prices were excellent. Plus they even let us reschedule our rental to the next day due to rain - great customer service.

Since it was raining when we arrived, we have spontaneously been offered the possibility to cancel our reservation free of charge or to reschedule it, which was really appreciated. Renting from Canal Motorboats was ideal. Such an amazing way to see some of Amsterdam’s canals. Customer service was incredible and the process was so slick. The boats are simple to use and easy to maneuver after some quick instructions.

First experience ever and worth the money! Staff super friendly and professional. We suggest you to book for 2hours trip: Because you’ll have enough time to ride, stop somewhere to take pictures along the path and/or to order a take-away food and continue back the trip. PS: You gonna ride a boat with electric engine - literally - by yourself! So follow the signs and respect the rules of Amsterdam’s marina. Surely you gonna meet other boats.
