Everyone at this company works hard to make the customer feel comfortable. From making sure we had the right language for our guide, to ensuring a good bike fit before we set off, all the way through to the excellent knowledge of the guide- everything was excellent. Our guide, Jonas, made us feel super safe throughout the trip. He explained the traffic rules and was very patient in making sure the group stayed together. He chose routes which were quieter and took us through some of the most picturesque areas of the city. Jonas’ knowledge of the history of Amsterdam, it’s architecture and unique features was second to none. We were a family of four with two young children who rode in the front carriage of their father’s bike. We would recommend this company to anyone. They are upfront and honest; a little bit of biking experience is needed to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. This was definitely the most fun 3 hours of our trip to Amsterdam!

Had an amazing bike ride. We did the 3 hour city tour. The guide was very good about keeping the group together and safe, and provided lots of great information about Amsterdam. It was a great way to see areas outside the tourist traps. The pace of the ride wasn't too fast, but you'll want to be comfortable with riding in and across traffic. The bikes were comfortable and easy to ride.

Wonderful tour. We took the countryside tour with Wilhelm. It was so zen and relaxing. And gorgeous. We loved learning about the communities and how they deal with water and the land. We had really dense fog, which made the tour even cooler. Better yet, if we were still in town. We could repeat it and have an absolutely different experience. We had an emergency that prevented us from taking the tour in our scheduled date. They were very understanding and let us join the next day. So glad to not have missed this.

This was a brilliant way to explore and see Amsterdam, away from all the tourist traps. Our guide Astrid really brought the city and its history to life with her sense of humour and passion for her home. We got to see places we’d never have thought of going too, and it was perfectly paced between cycling and storytelling. Also, would never have been brave enough to cycle in Amsterdam without doing this tour and so glad we did as it was just brilliant to take it all in on two wheels .

Had a great experience with We Bike Amsterdam! We had originally booked to go on the Countryside Saturday morning tour, but my friend's Friday night flight got cancelled. I called around 7 pm (after closing hours) on Friday, and We Bike Amsterdam still picked up and helped up reschedule to the Saturday afternoon City tour so we could still do a tour. The tour itself was fun and interesting, our guide had great knowledge and found us a cafe to refresh in during the worst of the rain! Thank you We Bike Amsterdam! 🚲

Excellent service, wonderful guide, great experience. We had a country side tour booked and due to an unfortunate alarm time zone issue ended up arriving a wee bit late. They accommodated us and we ended up having a fantastic time. Willem was a super guide, very knowledgeable. Took us to a great place out in the middle of nowhere for lunch where we had the best apple pie ever. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience with our tour guide, Joris! He was so knowledgeable and friendly and did a really great job of showing us the rural beauty of Amsterdam. The scenery was lush, the ride was smooth, and the apple pie was delicious. 😃

Joris was a cheery, informative and well organized tour leader. Bikes were in excellent shape and comfortable to ride with three speeds. We covered about 18k in the three hours of the tour including a half hour stop for lunch. This was not a work out but it was extremely pleasant and fun. Great value for the price. Would do again.

The bike tour was phenomenal and Pierce was second to none for a tour guide. I would highly recommend him and the whole countryside bike tour. I will be back and bringing more people to share the love! 10/10 would recommend - if you’re looking for a sign to go, THIS IS IT!

My wife and I had a great time on the tour! Our guide gave us the basics of biking in the city safely, then brought us on a 2 hour, ~12km tour of the western half of Amsterdam. We really enjoyed our time on the tour, and would do it again.

Our tour was great. Our guide Sumi was very knowledgeable and friendly. They rode at a comfortable pace but still covered a lot of ground and got a feel for the city. The rest of the group was very fun to get to know and we went out for drinks after.

Wonderful enjoyable bike tour — great way to spend the afternoon and see the city.

This store not only rents bicycles, but also repairs them. I was in a hurry to get home when my bike broke down, so I asked the staff at the store to help me without an appointment, and they quickly and perfectly fixed my bike. I highly recommend this place for tourists and locals alike.

We were there last weekend on Saturday and we had a great time, our tour guide ( forgive me coz I don’t remember the name ) was great! He took his time to explain us a lot of cool Stuff about Amsterdam getting away from typical places like red light district. You will learn a lot! Bike are super comfy and the overall experience was 5 * for me. I will def repeat a different tour or rent my bike there my next time in Amsterdam . Thanks ! Itziar

We glad that we signed up for the country side bike tour. The experience was amazing and the route were scenic and generally flat terrain. We enjoyed the ride very much and tea break at the farmhouse. The guide was experienced and he briefed on the safety. The pace was just right for everyone. We had a fantastic time on our tour. We went on a Sunday morning at 10am, and the traffic was light which was great. Honestly we have done many canal, walking, and bus tours within and around Amsterdam and this is a don’t miss tour! Three hours long, not at all strenuous since the city is mostly flat. The bikes were in great condition, easy to operate, and came with plenty of instruction. Tour guide was knowledgeable and we covered more city sights than any of the aforementioned tours around town. Highly recommend We Bike Amsterdam.

Just back from a trip to Amsterdam. We had read the reviews and were optimistic about this company. Money VERY well spent. It was easy to get to the location via tram, and we were greeted pleasantly. Bicycles were adjusted for us, and before riding, we got a safety tutorial from Lin, our very helpful guide. It rained heavily on and off, so I suppose now that we have ridden in the rain, we are Dutch. Lin did a remarkable job navigating us through traffic and constantly checking for our safety and making sure there were no stragglers. The bicycling is not particularly strenuous; the challenge is in processing all of the traffic and other factors. It was delightful to get a view of major sites, including the skinny bridge, Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and other neighborhoods we might not have seen. Don’t rent a bicycle on your own. Take a tour. It’s great to have an expert in charge.
