View: 4/5 Service: 2/5 Drinks: 3/5 Food: 1/5 The view was really nice. You get to see the Amsterdam skyline and modern interior design etc. Both drinks we ordered felt like they put way too much syrup. Too artificial. I think they need to improve their service. First, they gave us the wrong food so he said you guy can enjoy the food. Then, when our food is here, he took away the plate that we were already eating. I mean, aren’t you supposed to leave both of them? It’s just really awkward for a start hotel to do it, or maybe the manager is just being dutch so he can serve the food again to others? Kind of disgusting when you think of it but who knows. Both of the food were both below average by the way. Also, my friend’s phone battery is dying. I can’t believe they don’t have place for you to charge your phone. Even when we asked, they just simply answered, no we don’t have charger for Apple, sorry. I don’t think this is the right attitude for a start hotel/ bar should have. Anyway, I think it is a good place for a first date but i am not coming again.

This place used to be amazing. The views are still great but this is what a 15 Euro gin tonic looks like now. The menu shrinked from 10 pages to two to be "more cost effective"

This is the place to be if you want some place classy, amazing service, with great snacks and decent cocktails (think this could be improved, to match the rest. As I mentioned before, I believe for the price the bar needs to step it up with their cocktails. Other than that, we loved the snacks, it was flavourful and authentic, chicken sate, was more authentic than a regular Indonesian place in Amsterdam. The highlight for me was the service, in Amsterdam when going out to "nice" places the vibe is very sterile and the service is usually boring. Which was not the case in Malabar. The staff was amazing and I am glad that the theme of the hotel they're trying to go with reflected in the south-east hospitality and respect to the customer.

What a disappointment! First of, nobody noticed us at the door. Had to wait 15 min to be seated. What a great welcome 👎🏼. They placed us upstairs, it didn’t feel cozy or comfortable to be there. So we asked to get a table downstairs, the waiter fully forgot about us, we had to remind him again! Service was very slow, it felt like they didn’t have anything under control. Although it wasn’t that busy. It took them 25 min to come to our table to get our order after we asked them to come. In total we waited an hour for them to take an order and get our first drink. We were not the only once that waited. We saw a lot of guests trying to make a eye contact with the service. Finally, after an hour the drinks arrived. Later, we asked for water, even for that we had to wait for because the waiter forgot. Don’t know what was wrong with the water but it tasted very weird! Overall, a very disappointing night, should have left the moment nobody welcomed us at the door. However this placed was on our bucket list to come, that’s the only reason we stayed.

Interesting cocktails and friendly servers. But I had better and also the cocktails are on the pricey side. Atmosphere was really nice with the jazz music.

One of the nicest skybars in the city Panoramic view and the best time is before sunset to be able to see the beauty of the area place is located in Jakarta hotel / 8th floor.. Cocktail menu + Indonesian bite and snacks. No need for reservation you can simply walk in.

Obnoxious, incompetent staff. My bf and I were there tonight. The evening started fine. We arrived at the place and the host seated us between the window & the bar. View is good & we had our first cocktail in 15mins. The cocktails were way too sweet for my & my bf’s taste. Anyway, we thought we made a wrong choice and wanted to ask the host for another one that is less sweet. For approx. 45 minutes we tried to get attention from the host but he seems to completely ignore us. Eventually we decided to just leave & pay. The host then made a long pause hoping we’d add a tip to the bill. When we didn’t, he started obviously shaking his head. He then refused to make eye contact or say another sentence to us, and just walked away. Which had me confusedly waiting for a good few seconds as I’d expected a “would you like the receipt” or “have a nice evening” at the least. As a host, you should be the business card of the place and this guy made sure we’d never go back. Very very unprofessional.

Brilliant bar, excellent view and lovely staff. Cocktails €14,50 but very unique and a lot of drink for the price. Definitely recommend for the view!!

Expensive hotel but they can’t get the plastic cups for coffee delivered for a week. They serve coffee in a very small cap. Why is it so difficult to get delivery sorted?

Mostly set up for couples, they were happy to put some chairs together for us to meet our friends (table of 4). Tasty drinks, very nice service and the food was delicious! We went at night so we couldn't see the view, but it's a cool space inside without the view outside!

Acoustic is a bit problematic but live music is a nice touch. View from that high is amazing. Staff is friendly and cooperative. Food/drink is lacking in terms of taste, options and pricing though.

Amazing view! Romantic spot! Great cocktails! Great for a date! For locals or tourists! It’s small and with a relaxed vibe. Their cocktails are really good and they are open to prepare everything you want. Try to go in summer but even thou it was winter the view was still beautiful.
