Beautiful place and nice to see a Californian cuisine restaurant in Amsterdam. The food is good, but the price-quality ratio seems a bit out of place for what it was. Service was friendly, but also not quite befitting the price level. It was a nice experience, but not worth the final bill.

Interesting cuisine and I would say more American-Mexican cuisine. The food taste excellent. I would rate it 6 stars out of 5. The Roasted Farm Chicken was excellent. It was tasty and the meat was succulent and juicy! Kudos to the Chef. By chance we found out that the restaurant was part of the IHG group and thought we could leverage our IHG membership benefits. Unfortunately no but the hotel staff Pasquale was so nice to come over to explain the situation to us. I have to also give credit to the restaurant manager Vincent who was so hospital to us. Truly an extremely pleasant dining experience at this restaurant!!!

The food here is good and the atmosphere is also pretty good. However, the service is not very fast. So come here only when you have lots of time to enjoy a long dinner.

Pros: stylish, delicious, pricey. Delicious & great representation of dinner’s menu! A lot of stuff were working around us, they have even pro barman. Main waitress didn’t not understand what I mean by ordering Lemon beer, which was in the menu and proposed alternative as ginger beer. Manager speaks dutch&english, the rest stuff only English.

Don’t be deceived by the darling atmosphere, interesting menu, or rave reviews. Great service and kind people but the food was beyond lacklustre. Per the recommendation of the waitstaff, we ordered multiple dishes to share - but everything was served at the same time, leaving us with an overcrowded table and hot dishes growing cold as we tried to eat everything at once. Despite the vegetable-heavy menu, the only edible / enjoyable dish was the deep-fried calamari. The hot vegetables were undercooked and of the two salads, one was overdressed and one had no dressing or seasoning. Sadly we are currently looking for Uber eats to fill the void…

Overall experience was satisfying. I am impressed with the service, very attentive and kind. We went on a taco Tuesday and my friends loved the tacos. I personally suggest ordering calamari, it was delicious. Will definitely visit again 😃

We really enjoyed the food, the taste was great and presentation was beautiful. The cocktails were also delicious. The only thing is that a bouillabaisse is called “beans and clams in tomato sauce” on their menu. Very strange, we didn’t expect the beans to be a fish soup. But I love bouillabaisse so the dish exceeded my expectations. Everything was excellent.

Second time coming for a brunch and we loved it both times, the service is great, their team is lovely and we loved the eggs royale and the yuzu cheesecake! Perhaps a small recommandation to add a side salad next to the egg dishes as the portions can be a bit small, although it was filling! Would definitely go again!

The overall experience is amazing, from the food to the service. I recommend the restaurant if someone wants to eat in a good place near the centre. The atmosphere was also fine and chill.

We had the 3 course meal, kitchen struggled a bit with our large group size. Waitresses were very friendly. Food looked pretty but was partly underseasoned.

It’s a beautiful spacious location in the middle of the busy shopping street. The staff was very friendly, including the hostess greeting us and taking our coats. I love Super Lyan, but the cocktails here were of less quality. The mimosas were not made with fresh orange juice, tasted more like a sparkling lemonade. The omelet was tasty, but served on a slice of sourdough bread that was impossible to cut. Way beyond “crunchy.” I wouldn’t come back for brunch, but we had a nice afternoon nevertheless.

The bartender dropped a menu and said let him know when I was ready. After deciding on getting the Chicken Sandwich, I signaled the bartender I was ready to order. With that I asked the bartender to direct me on a beer that would go good with the sandwich. He suggested 2 and by the end of the meal I enjoyed both suggestions. When the chicken sandwich arrived, the presentation as good. The sandwich was dark meat, which I was surprised, but ended up really enjoying. One of the better chicken sandwiches I ever had. The fries were fries, nothing to dive into, but decent. Overall, the experience was good. I would recommend to anyone, especially if staying in the Kimpton.

I cannot express this enough. I’ve lived in the Netherlands for three years, and this was probably one of the best restaurants I ate at in the country. From the beginning, everyone was very welcoming, the atmosphere was amicable, and the food, every bite, was exquisite; if you thinking about eating here, please go, you won’t regret it.

Being from California, the quality, freshness and healthy food served here made me feel at home! Every dish had such a flavorful sauce and the dishes were best shared so we could try everything. Plus the waiting staff was the friendliest and made the experience wonderful!

What a beautiful and atmospheric restaurant! The welcome is friendly and informal. Big compliment to the lady who served us at the table. A relief in the field of friendliness, way of serving and her hospitality with a sincere smile. The menu is not particularly extensive, but plenty of delicious choices. We went for the whole chicken. This one was super tender and seasoned and the fries were delicious. The dessert as well. Well deserved this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The space is beautiful and the service is great. They really make an effort to make sure you have everything you need. But the brunches dishes could do better, especially for the price. The angus burger didn’t have any sauce inside and needed more salt and pepper. The mushroom tacos were a tiny portion which left me hungry. The burrata comes without bread and also requires a bit more condiments (more olive oil or herbes). Unfortunately the food wasn’t up to our expectations.

Expensive but quite ok food, especially the side dishes (the cabbage for example). However, I did not really appreciate that they served the passionfruit sour drink in a half full champagne glass and charged 12€ for it nor that they served warm sparkling water and I had to ask 3 times for them to change the water.

Food is delicious, ingredients are fresh and I was not hungry at the end. Relax atmosphere and the staff are super stars! All so nice and lovely, we always feel welcome and we'll taken care of!

The menu is not extensive, but the food is excelent.

Very good food, we had the chicken, cauliflower with feta and crab cakes! Everything was super tasty. On top of that, the host and the waitress made our night very special and personal. I liked that there was a dj who kept the ambiance popping 😎Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Stopped in for dinner without a reservation. They accommodated us (table for two), as it was early in the dinner service, around 17:30. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks and food were both delicious and worth the price (a bit expensive, but worth the price paid). Excellent menu selections for an elevated dining experience. Highly recommended, and will certainly stop in again next time we are in town.

Service was very nice. Music a bit too loud at late hours, but we could manage a conversation 😅 the drinks were fine too, I mostly had wine but my friend approved the cocktails. ( if you’re not able to decide perhaps you can try Tom and jerry ) I loved the vibe and enjoyed my time here very much! Thanks to the staff who was very attentive and polite ❤️
