This tour was great! Bram was a fantastic guide, from local food options to niche bits of history, this a great introduction to Amsterdam from someone who has lived here. Would highly recommend, my buddy and I had a blast!

Bram is very handsome ( acording to Natalia Pecina) and professional guide! I recommend! He has a great inside of the city center as well with some recommendations of local places and red light nighborhood tips. The best party of all are the jokes he has. Book him! You’ll get some great tour here!

Maitane was the best guide! She took us to an historic interesting trip to Amsterdam, focusing on the important things of the city and the culture. We loved the way she talks and we fell more in love with Amsterdam!

Bram was our tour guide for this great introductory tour around Amsterdam (the Free Walking Tour). Lots of interesting and informative pieces of info! He was funny and we wished we had longer to ask more questions! Definitely recommend this tour with Bram! Even got to sample some local tasty treats! Just make sure you book a confirmed spot so you aren’t disappointed on the day.

Really good experience. We got to see the city through the eyes of a local guy and hear a lot about Amsterdam, its history and fun facts. Kudos to Bram! And the dessert was a nice touch.

Had a wonderful afternoon walking around Amsterdam with Bram. He had a good sense of humor which he maintained throughout the walk even though we had a fairly reserved group. A great way to familiarize yourself with some city’s history, culture, food.

It's Pretty good if you are interested about the history of the places + If you like walking. It's all about walking to historically important places listening to what happened in that places back then, once upon a time. Then again repeat. Tip: This tour should be booked online from their website. And few slots are free, you can join in the spot as well. Better to book the slots on their site to be in safer side. English tour will standard. And Deutsch / Dutch will be too available depending on the audience. I took the English tour. The duration was around 3 hours with a break of 20-30 mins in-between in a near by restaurant. The tour is free, after the tour you can give how much ever tip you can for the guide.

Yasmin did a great job on the Amsterdam city tour! She covered a lot of history and information, and kept it interesting.

Yasmin was wonderful! I just landed in Amsterdam last night and wanted a quick walking tour to familiarise myself with the place, and her tour was patient with detailed explanations and stops to take as many photos as we'd like. She also encourages questions and conversations about the culture and history, 10/10 would recommend :D

We took a 3 hour walking tour with Rachel as our tour guide, and it was absolutely amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helped us personalize our tour. She showed us every little thing that you normally wouldn't spot being a tourist in Amsterdam.

Me and three friends booked the free walking tour for Amsterdam. When we got there, there were more people than the allowed for the time (due to covid). The English tour guide denied our entrance and selected people without reservation. Then the Spanish guide said we wouldn't be able to follow her tour, since we were not fluent in the language. Summary: we were disrespected by rude tour guides and we didn't have the chance to participate on the tour.

Sandeman was recommended to us by a friend. Since the city tour is free, the emphasis is on a good quality tour so you are motivated to tip the tour guide based on your satisfaction. Although this wasn't the best city tour, it was pretty good nonetheless. Karl was entertaining to say the least. He made boring history seem interesting and was updated on his facts and I was impressed he had done his bit of research to give us the best experience. I was a bit reluctant to walk for 3 hours but Karl ensured it was well paced so we didn't get tired and no one complained considering we had an old couple in our group as well. Impressed by the free tour, we attended the paid red light district tour as well. Initially, I was a bit embarrassed because of the nature of the tour but later I realised it an important aspect of Amsterdam. The tour was both entertaining and informative. Definitely recommend!

We did a 2 hour walking tour with Rachel. Loved the experience! She was informative, friendly and funny. She made sure it was interactive and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend doing this if you don't have too much time to explore on your own and would like a quick tour to know more about the history of Amsterdam.

We have used this service, the tour guide was outstanding and explained us thoroughly during our 3 hours tour. Yet, what I personally don't like is management. We made the online booking of "Free walking tour" but right before the tour, the management told us that since we are in the group, we must pay 7-10 euros each (I forgot the exact price) and 1.5 euro entertainment tax (that we know already). Yes, we definitely had the option to say "no" but we didn't want to spoil our day and also theirs. We felt like what is the point of booking online beforehand as a "free walking tour" if we need to make this payment (obviously it was then not a free walking tour) plus, we paid tips to the tour guide (Yes, this was also an option but we didn't want to show our anger to the tour guide since he really did his job well). Yah, there were also other people on our tour. So, it was definitely not a private tour either. It's not a big thing but just wanted to share our experience because this might help others before booking the tour. Maybe, it was our fault that we didn't read the tour guide information before booking online. We just felt cheated on that day but we did enjoy the tour and it was really informative.

We did the free walking tour and the guide explained the history of Amsterdam well. Starts at the City center where the dam was. Was for 2 hours, informative and helpful tour also during Corona with sufficient social distance!

We had a great tour with Eric “Oso”! Oso showed us all around Amsterdam and explained many historical and interesting facts about the city. The tour was fun and Oso was so engaging - we had a great time even though it was raining throughout, it didn’t stop us from enjoying this tour. Highly recommend!

We went on the Red Light District walking tour in Amsterdam. Axel was such a great guide. His tour had structure; he told the story of the district so respectfully yet with right amount of humour as well as lots of anecdotes and plenty of wonderful facts. We are really really glad we went. 👍

I've been on Sandeman walking tours in many cities, and I always enjoy them. This time I went on the Amsterdam walking tour with Australian David and I think it was my favorite tour yet! I liked the way the history of the city was central, but the tour also included lively stories and felt like a cohesive timeline of the city. Would definitely recommend! David was very funny and informative.

I had an absolutely amazing time with guide, Rachel Morton-Young :) She was very knowledgeable and also really funny to be around. The walking tour in Amsterdam gave me a good glimps of the city and her tips/ stories gave me unique things to look out for as I travel here. I'm really looking forward to her comedian walking tours in future too! Highly highly recommend experiencing the walking tour yourself too :> The stroopwafels from the oldest bakery was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad Rachel brought us to taste it!! :D Thank you so much for having me!
