    Great location, just next to the Dam and super nice, clean store with great service. I'm owning a really cool Swatch watch for the past 7 years and I never knew that I could get a new battery for FREE if i get directly to their official store. Since it became really difficult to find a store in Amsterdam where you can buy a battery and where they will as well swooped it with the old one, i have checked online, if there is a Swatch store in town. And yes, it is and this is the message i read on their site: "Does your Swatch need a new battery? Then come quickly to the nearest Swatch Store in the Netherlands, we will replace the battery there immediately and free of charge, regardless of the quantity. Give your Swatch new energy for free!7

    Went in, asked if they had the MoonSwatch, was quickly told no. Then the male store manager asked me which color I liked, and I told him I want the Mission to Mars version. He asked why, I said I just liked it… feeling a little strange at this stage with the Q&A. He then asked his colleague, a friendly young woman, to see if they might have stock still (right, "might," as if they don't know). She came out moments later with the watch I wanted. The manager was no longer there and I asked the friendly lady if they might also have the Mission to Saturn, as my friend wants that model and we do not have a Swatch store where I live. She gladly obliged and went back and got me one of those, too. So, they clearly have stock! I was about to pay after the young woman had filled in the warranty slip when the storage manager came back and started barking at her for selling me two watches and made her not sell me that second watch. Her and I were both embarrassed. I tried to reason with him: I am not a scalper, and I have literally been to 3 Swatch stores in 2 different countries previous to this to try my luck. I don't own a Swatch but own two Omega Speedsters. This is a fanboy purchase. In any case, I got my Mission to Mars. But note that they *lie* about not having inventory, and they enforce a 1 watch for 1 buyer policy that is nowhere visibly explained. The whole experience left me with a negative impression. Young woman was the better customer-oriented person in this exchange.

    Arrogant and disinterested staff. First time I went there male manager was flexing like I was in there trying to steal something and when I made my enquiries was given laboured answers through grit teeth. I was asking about the Moonswatch releases and he was basically laughing at me telling me that he didn't have any but there was something sinister and off putting about the energy I received from such a simple question, almost like he was enjoying lying to me about not having stock. After reading the comments I now understand why. They have plenty of stock, they are simply diescriminating against who they sell them to. Second time the lady was so disingenuous it was agonising trying to get information from her, almost as if I'd bothered the wrong person..

    I didn’t expect the store to have the Moonswatch in stock. But I coincidentally just walked by the store and decided to get in line. Unfortunately the last Moonswatch they had in stock was sold to the person just in front of me.. why the 5 starts? Because the sales assistant was so friendly and kind. He was very open to talk about the supply of the watches and said they had 24 delivered in the morning, which were sold out once again. I really appreciate the transparency.

    I had never had such a bad experience with a store manager (Alfred) ever in my life. While all the other store employees told me kindly what the problem was with the stock of the moon watch, he came up to me and told me that I was not allowed ever again to visit the store. Reason? I came two times in a row to ask about the watch... I'm a happy omega collector but Swatch is now a no go for me from now on..

    What a bad experience! Young man at the entrance did not even acknowledge me entering, another person was on the phone and suddenly said can I help you - was completely not recognisable as an employee - walked around as if he was a customer too - and while I was talking to him, one of his other colleagues started talking to him as I was not even there…. Rude! When leaving the shop, and passing the 1st employee - a simple “goodbye” could have saved it all - but no - not a glimpse of it all. My god! Do a better job in training your staff! I’ll take my business elsewhere for sure! The fact that the battery I needed to be replaced was out of stock is possible - but treat your customers better than this!

    We went to Swatch Kalverstraat Amsterdam for a rudimentary battery replacement. For a minute we turn our backs from the workers and browsed a bit. We heard a scream and noticed the workers are looking at each other wondering what happened. The worker handed over the Swatch Irony with the seconds hand detached from the central pin. We left the shop scratching our heads with bewilderment. We don't know what to do at this point.

    They just sold me a "brand new watch" with scretches. I was in the shop to try to explain but they didn t Wanna change the watch or hear any reasons. This isbtruly disappointing

    Worst experience ever. Sales persons are not knowledgeable and are not willing to try. They obviously are getting paid to stand as security only. Im a watch collecter and also already own quite a few pieces of swatch watches which I have purchased in different countries including Miami, St maarteen, London to name a few. I will never recommend anyone to buy here

    Ming and Laura made me happiest woman in the world as they fixed my 20 years old watch which I bought in Japan when I was a kid. 3 other watch repair services refused to repair it as they did not know how. THaNK YOU swatch, Ming and Laura!❤️

    I absolutely have to give this place five stars because of the fantastic help provided by Anja. I came in as another one of the hundreds of customers looking for the MoonSwatch to add to my collection however when speaking with Anja, I was treated as an individual. She took the time to discuss the watches, the launch, and even called over her manager to show me how the watch looked in person on a different kind of strap. Although I did not get what I wanted when I came to the store, I most definitely received some of the most fantastic customer service and I’d recommend anyone else to visit as well!

    Got a watch here (last one of that model) that didn't work when I got home. It was a demo watch (no discount though) and I noticed a scratch when I got home. Returned it for another model and that watch slowed all the time. On my third visit, it seems like the watch is finally working after a battery change and some adjustments from the staff. So, pro: staff is good and knowledgeable. Con: Quality of watch.

    I know the moonwatch is in high demand and a lot of people ask about it. But the male manager was really rude when I asked and he clearly gets off of the power. They also lie about the stock they have in the store.

    After taking 30 minutes to get there, they didn't have the Swatch I wanted. Website says they keep getting this watch all the time. Probably not the fault of the location but nevermind. They should coordinate better and stop wasting people's time.

    Absolutely terrible service. Went to buy a moonswatch. Sales lady told me to stand in line to pay, at the same time they sold the watch I was waiting to pay for to someone who came after me.. fortunately they had two, but seriously bad customer service.. Useless, I wouldn't buy at this store again that's for sure.

    I had a true experience at this shop that has kept me tight as a loyal advocating customer in my Swatch customer journey since 1993. I recently bought a great item from a Swatch collector because I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the metal strap was a little tight, and the strap is no longer available in today's Swatch collection. It only needed a straplink. The employee took my watch and went through a drawer and finally found the part I needed. I was so happy! She put it on the strap until I was happy with the fit. She could have tried to sell me a new strap which would have felt inconvenient for me. She sent me away totally happy and she refused to charge me anything. What she did, is that she renewed, and most probably upgraded my Swatch loyalty into lifetime loyalty. Definitely, as anyone can read, she made me want to advocate for the brand. Thank you!

    My husband and I visited this store in Amsterdam and the staff is so rude. The cashier woman, pictured, told us that the card system doesn't work for two weeks. And she told us that she can't give us tax free forms because of the system. It’s so weird because we visited a lot of stores in Amsterdam and they all accepted my credit card. We asked her why it's not working for two weeks. And she got really nervous and so rude. I will never shop at this place. Please Swatch find better choose your staffs.

    5 Stars for the Store and the 5 Stars for Swatch. Not many companies have the quality to admit when they have done something wrong and the Swatch store and the employees have definitely proofed that they are able to do it. Without sparing too much detail, in the end we got surprised by the Swatch team at our house with this nice little care package. Well done, Swatch & team!
