If you want to leave a teeth cleaning with a mouth full of blood, you're in the right place:)) I came here for a cleaning based on good reviews and thinking that unlike other clinics in the Netherlands, they use ultrasound and airflow for cleaning. It was a mistake: they did the airflow for about 40 seconds, and then they used metal hooks. I was shocked by the pain, especially when the doctor poked the hook into the exposed neck of my tooth. Interestingly, after they scrape the teeth with metal, they don't even apply fluoride to the teeth to somehow restore them after the damage. If you expect a modern approach and protocol for teeth cleaning, this is definitely not the place for you.

I've never been to a dental hygienist in Holland before so I can't compare to anything, but I think the price is very reasonable. Also, Sandra is really friendly and made me feel comfortable right from the start. What's most important however, is that I walked in with a full set of yellowish stained teeth and walked out half an hour later with a radiant smile that I'm not scared to flaunt to the world! Thanks again Sandra!

I've been looking for a good, professional and kind mondhygienist for a while (my last experience was a bit traumatic). I found Sandra's place online and the reviews here were really helpful. Sandra has done a fantastic job making me feel comfortable and the end result on my teeth (and mind) is just perfect. White and clean teeth, didn't hurt. The office is located in the beautiful SPACES on Vijzelstraat, which is also a plus. Highly recommended! .... I'm adding a few notes to my initial review a year later, after a third time at Sandra's practice. I was twice taken care of by Sandra, and this last time by Ettie. The arrival of new colleagues is communicated, so it was no surprise that I may see someone else than Sandra. I was very happy with Ettie, she is also very professional and the cleaning went smoothly. No pain, no stress, all done with kindness and a smile. A plus for me, Ettie pronounced my first name correctly when she greeted me. A small thing for many but it shows care, so it matters to me. I still highly recommend this practice.

My latest experience with a dental hygienist in Utrecht was a bit traumatising, so when I moved to Amsterdam I put some extra effort in finding a specialist that I can trust. Visiting Sandra's practice was an unexpected delight - she is very professional and caring, always taking that extra step to make you feel welcomed. Her office is modern and light, situated in the sprawling Spaces building that is very central too. All in all, I can highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for exceptional dental hygiene care.

It is the most professional hygienist I have ever been. She actually showed us how good (or not that good) we brush our teeth with some purple dye. I really felt my teeth were getting carved one by one while cleaning, so it was a proper deep clean. Also, it feels you are inside an art gallery instead of a dentist clinic! I will definitely come back!

Sandra is a true professional. Besides the fact that she is excellent in her day to day routine, she also knows how to create a relax and comfortabel atmosphere. She has turned the six-monthly visit to the dental hygienist into a positive thing.

A visit to the dental hygienist isn't generally considered to be very pleasant. A visit to Sandra's practice, however, rather is. Sandra is diligent, knowledgeable, and naturally makes you feel at ease throughout the treatment. The practice is beautifully decorated, light, and located in the lovely Spaces building in the heart of Amsterdam. Excellent on all fronts; highly recommended.
