After my long arts exam, I wanted nothing more than juicy chicken, but instead i got nothing but dissapointment (waited for over 2 hrs). Damm yeee, and this will not go unpunished, justice fill find you. Order for dinner but i think they mean it for breakfast. (PS: having a 2.5avg over 234 reviews is wildly impresive) Edit: After ignoring the phone for 2hrs, got called and he demanded the review be changed, so I did.

The bare minimum that is expected from a restaurant is to bring your food warm, they failed to do that. Besides, the fries were obviously re-heated and were hard as rocks, the chicken exactly the same, cold and hard. Not to mention the 2 hour wait for the order. If you want decent food, do not buy from this place. Ever.

The delivery was two hours late, the delivery guy refused to actually deliver the food to my door and said if I don't walk out in the rain to his car to pick up my food, he'd drive away. I proceed to explain this to the restaurant with 8 guys screaming in the background, passed around 4 times before the owner tells me I'm lying, blocked me from ordering from him again and refused to refund my order! THE WORST RESTAURANT I'VE ORDERED FROM. I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY SPIT IN THE FOOD.

Ordered the food and it never got delivered. Also, no one picked up the phone when I called them several times. This place should shutdown. They will take your money and won’t give you the food.

Food arrived two hours late. Not just after two hours, two hours later than initially said. The delivery driver then explained that they were late because they had a lot of orders. The courier then had the audacity to assure me the food wasn't cold. It was. Whilst on the topic of food, saying that it wasn't great would be a gross understatement. Everything tasted stale and the chicken was drowning in oil. Avoid this place. The rest of the reviews agree. Having this many 1-star reviews is very telling. Their replies to reviews take zero accountability, but instead shifting the blame elsewhere, sometimes their own customers. Some of the replies are completely unprofessional too. Again, avoid at all costs.

Ordered from Chicken Palace at 00:53, its 02:20 right now. No food! I order repeatedly because I like the food from here but something has to happen regarding the delivery time. Thuisbezorgd confirmed 01:25. I've called them 7 times and they picked once. The service is very bad! My advise, don't order if you are very hungry or maybe place an order 2 hours before your eating time

Order never arrived, took my money, didn’t answer phones and nobody called me. Fell asleep at 4:30AM after hours of waiting. Basically just stole my money and “not eligible for a refund” this was my last day on holiday staying at G experience hotel (lovely hotel btw!) so we went very hungry and had an early flight. Bad end to the holiday but I highly recommend the other takeaways in the area! Just avoid this one as they’ll steal your hard earned money. They don’t care going off their replies to reviews and know exactly what they’re doing, but I at least had a giggle at their responses.

I order here occasionally, as the delivery is practically day and night. Always very hot chicken breast, delivered by friendly people.

I feel the need to share my experience after my friend and I ordered from here and explain how this scam works. If you order from Uber Eats for example, they will charge you but the food will not get delivered. You can call this restaurant but they may ignore you or lie to you. You can get a refund if you dispute it in most cases, however apps like Uber eats will not refund the automatic tip, which will go straight to this sham restaurant enabling their bad behaviour. I advise you to read this before you fall victim to restaurants like these that often operate illegally.

I waited over 3 hours for this food to arrive, not reachable phone number to at least cancel the order, until I needed to leave with the empty stomach. Then I don't even get a refund for a food I never eat, because the food arrived 3 hours later. Terrible service on top of all the bad reputation I heard after my bad experience. Do yourself a favor and not order here.

I waited for the food 3 hours in the night, at some point I fall asleep and the driver called me to come in the main street cause he is with the car, i refuse the order and now i am waiting for my money back. Never order from here. BIG SCAM

Very rude and a lack of service. Ordered by using Uber but the food never arrived. When I called the restaurant the guy started screaming at me that he had more orders and I should be more patient (although I waited for 45 min before calling)

I ordered via Uber & after 40 mins I called the shop to ask how long it will take, the guy the phone they will start now or better cancel it.. Dissatisfied.

Ordered with no expectations and folks let me tell you one thing this chicken palace, is chicken valhalla!!! I never write reviews but the chicken was impressively tasty, french such as curly fries still crunchy and hot, which normally never happens when ordering fries and the burger was much better than any kind of KFC burger. Props for the driver for being a chill dude and big shout to this restaurant which is also open til f****** 4 o'clock in the morning!!!! 5 stars very well deserved, keep up the good chicken and thanks for this delicious meal. First time i ordered the chicken didnt arrive at all and didnt let me know. Second time(gave them a second chance) it took them 2 hours to come and no apology or anything. Worst place if you wanna make sure you eat

It did what it was meant to do. However, the meat eaters in my house said it tasted like the end parts of the chicken. Nothing special but the thrill of it arriving made up for the mediocre salt distribution on the fries.

Ordered 2 hours ago, I called the restaurant immediately after to say Uber eats put the wrong address(im in a hotel atm) the people of the phone said it that’s fine, we will get the driver to call, fast toward to now, 1hr+ after the latest estimated arrival… STILL NO FOOD, no call, no nothing. I can’t believe it !!!!! TERRIBLE PLACE. It’s 6am now

I placed an order over two hours ago via JustEat/Thuisbezorgd, and I am still waiting, despite the time saying 20-30 mins for delivery. After calling the restaurant, I was told the driver was outside, and that the person on the phone was also outside with the driver (despite me hearing the noises of the restaurant in the background). I waited outside for a hour. I called again and was told it hadn’t left the restaurant, but would be en route soon. I called several times after this, and was told various lies about the whereabouts of my order. When I asked him to cancel the order, he swore at me and hung up the phone. I’m so appalled at this. I’ve now called over twenty times to try get this cancelled. AVOID!! They are now claiming it has been delivered — it has not. Edit: In response to Chicken Palace’s totally unprofessional response to my review, I was “smart enough” to write down my telephone number with the correct country code. I called them over twenty times. This wasn’t an issue. They began ignoring my calls, they never tried to call. Secondly, the hotel room number is clearly shown on my order, and I asked them to leave the food with reception (where I was stood waiting for over an hour).
