Hi, This is James from Thailand!! I had an anaphylactic shock at the pharmacy next to A'dam doctors. When I got the shock the 2 wonderful women came to help me immediately and they called the doctor for me. The doctor came in less than a minute and saved my life. I couldn't imagine if I got a shock out of the clinic, I would probably die on that day!! I will never forget you guys ❤️ I will come back to visit you all when I go to Amsterdam for sure. I would recommend this clinic for all of you, the doctor is skillfull, the nurses are helpfull. You will not regret. Thank you all of you from the bottom of my heart for saving me again! It’s just Impossible to be taken seriously if you have an emergency. I went to Adam’s doctor today 19/05/2023 because I have a huge pain in my eyes . I asked the receptionist to let me talk to the doctor but he didn’t take me seriously. Without even looking into my face, he said it should be virus and said I should wait for 5 days without any treatment. Not even a medication to deal with the pain. When I asked about the availability for the next appointment with a doctor, he said I did not need an appointment and I should not worry about it (even thought I am in pain and he does not know what I really have). I insisted to have an appointment and he insisted in telling me that I don’t need it . I feel extremely disrespected by this attitude, given that I have the right to book an appointment. I am going to change GP to a place where patients are taken seriously, and this place is definitely not Adam’s doctor

Incompetent is being generous. I’m told I’m fine nothing to worry about only to discover days later there is a serious infection causing severe agonising pain. It’s scary to think how many people they have done this to, if you value your health think twice about this place and their “doctors”

We have been patients of A'dam Doctors for over 10 years. As the years have passed we have now a family and our daughter too is a patient since she was born. The entire practice has invested so much time with us, ensuring top notch medical care while also taking the time to always ask how we are, remembering every small detail. To find two physicians such as Drs. Jort Berghuis and Justin Leenders nearly impossible; young, kind, knowledgeable, patient, understanding and above all, caring. Their phenomenal team (whom we have also known for over 10 years), regardless of the myriad of patients they tend to, always welcome us with smiles and make the entire experience as the old days when your family physician really made you feel like a family.

I have never seen such a doctor's incompetence. A week ago I came with my 3-year-old daughter. I told to the Doctor was wrong and he did not even examine her. he immediately recommended paracetamol. Besides, he looked at me dismissively all the time. today my daughter was at the emergency room and she got an antibiotic. at the emergency room they told me that she had chronic sinusitis, ear and throat inflammation. I do not recommend this place. if you are ill, it is better to visit the emergency than A’dam Doctors 👎👎🏻👎🏼👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿

Horribly rude. Came in with a colleague who had an emergency, not only told us it’s not the place for us, but refused to help us or even to let us talk to a doctor. It’s a waste of time, and effort. Won’t recommend. For everyone who has issues - go to the Amsterdam Tourist Doctors. They help everyone and work with the Dutch medical insurance.

During the times that I lived in the area, I had been their patient. I had always had the best medical advice and support. I am sorry that I had to change my family doctor due to moving, because the new one is nowhere near A’dam Doctors, unfortunately. Special thanks to Dr. Jort Berghuis, who had cured my mother by visiting us at home, when she got sick during her visit in Amsterdam.

Amazing customer service! They speak a very good English and they are polite, punctual, professional and showed comforting communication skills. Had a very pleasant appointment with Dr. Sophie who was very kind and assertive with all my health worries. She listened what I had to say and gave me relevant guidances for the topics I have raised. Previously I was signed up to a GP that were much colder into their approach and didn't feel comfortable to ask for help when needed. But at this practice it's not the case and I'm happy for this outcome! I definitely recommend them to anybody, expat or not, to try their services!

Just relocated to Amsterdam and my toddler daughter had fever. We walked in with good faith based on the reviews. We took our daughter in and the reception was able to quickly register her as a new patient. Doctor was very professional, he asked about my daughter's history, dietary, and everyday eating, drinking pattern. I am glad we found this clinic and would highly recommend this Adam Doctor.

I came with a problem after being referred by the OLVG hospital and ended up being greeted nicely at the reception and then another individual joined the fray and decided to tell me the hospital didn't know what they were talking about. Very rude individual

This is a great practice. The staff and the doctor are very kind and compassionate.

They completely ruined my skin.... I asked them so many times to send me to a dermatologist last year, but they insisted that's it's not that bad and they can fix it, prescribing stronger and stronger medicine. Now I moved to Dubai and was able to manually schedule a dermatologist appointment and they said that they were prescribing extremely strong creams of the opposite of what I needed, making it worse and worse. I had multiple visits with Sophie wan West & one with Justin Leenders. I would've been better off going to no doc at all rather than playing along with their overconfident guessing game....

Had a very good experience with A'dam Doctors. The receptionist was friendly and the doctor was attentive, calm and informative. He took good time to understand the issue and handled it well. Recommended!

I have been their patient for 2,5 years. They have always been quite punctual, with rare exceptions, polite and empathic. I got multiple referral without any issues. My doctor was Dr. Sophie who always made me feel heard and understood. She took good care of me. I am sad I had to change to another clinic because of moving houses.

I like that place very much, they are sweet people, I was with doctor Sofia, she is very nice and patient, when I had to do an injection I started to cry a little because I found it exciting, but she comforted me and she even made a face draw on my plaster, my mother couldn't speak English very well so I translated and she was very patient with us. Friendly doctors and staff, helpful and quick to react. They are addressing issues thoroughly effectively and provide a good rationale about treatments and diagnoses. The take you seriously and refer you to the right places when needed.
