Probably the best canal tour for us. Four of us booked on AirB&B. (They wear red shirts with "Amsterdam Boat Trips" logo om back and boat may be covered or not). The price was good. We got the beverage package. We arrived early just to verify the location and they let us take an earlier time. The driver and guide (Jordan and Cedric) were fantastic hosts. Lots of good information - history, current events, and other attractions. Highly recommended and I suggest you book it early in your trip.

I didn't expect much from this tour - I booked it same-day knowing it was going to be overcast and windy. But our skipper and host Mark (?) more than made up for this with his hospitality, wit, and wealth of knowledge about the city and its history and hydrography. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone and will be sure to come again.

We had a nice time. There was unlimited drinks like warm Glühwein and they also offered us gingerbread cookies. The tour guides were very nice and pleasant. It was a small group so it was very nice and intimate. After the tour they follow up with an email about their recommendations on what to see and eat in Amsterdam which I thought was very cute.

Very deserving of a good review. When you come to a city like Amsterdam there are hundreds of tour operators to choose from and I had liked the reviews/size of the group and hour long tour that Amsterdam Boat Trips offered. We booked just a few hours before and went on a 6.30pm trip on a Sunday evening. It was the most perfect time to do it as the canals were quieter, the sun was beginning to slowly dim and the weather was perfect. Justin had the best balance of knowing when to talk and when to give the passengers a few moments of quiet to take in the views/chat. He was really interesting and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job! Lovely wine and nibbles throughout the hour left us feeling high on life when the hour was up! Would highly recommend this company for a personal and intimate group tour!

We had a fun and entertaining experience with Cedric and Kas. They were very knowledgeable about the history of the city and gave us recommendations for places to visit. Overall a great experience!

Okay, here’s the low down. Do you want the best boat tour with the nicest guides, fullest cups, and smoke friendly environment? Get on this boat. My first night in Amsterdam I lucked out and randomly got on one of their boats (as one does) met the amazing tour guides pictured here, Maurice - who gave killer insight about the city and the people and the best places to go, while making everyone laugh the whole time. I made great friends on the boat I still talk to today too! My second day I went back again because honestly for 25 euros you can’t get a better deal with better views (and seemingly unlimited drinks) my second time I had Kas, who was equally kind and shared their own personal stories of the city, along with great recommendations for things I was interested in, he was even kind enough to write them all down for me:). Kas - I hope you’re enjoying swan bridge! They were happy to answer any and all questions and encouraged everyone to be happy, comfortable and safe :) Seriously, I went back twice cause I had so much fun, and it was such a good deal. I would also recommend to go at sunset because the reflections/views/colors on the water are stunning. And for those with kids… it is friendly family but smoking is allowed!

I took the ride of 4.30 pm (winter time) and it was so beautiful because I got to see the city with daylight, the sun set, and ending my ride with all the Christmas lights. Our captain was super friendly and welcoming, the tour lasted what it said, super private and comfortable! Even though it was cold weather the boat has heating pillows and blankets that make it fully enjoyable! Totally recommend

Marc and Alice were fantastic hosts! We took the last tour of the day, to see the sunset, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The views were gorgeous and it was the perfect relaxing tour to end our day in Amsterdam. Marc and Alice were very engaging and it was very interesting to learn about all the facts and history around Amsterdam. The food and drinks was also a very nice addition to what was already an excellent tour!

This is a 10/10 tour! The hosts were extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable about the city during the tour! It was a very cold day, so they offered us blankets and hot wine. Once the tour was over, he even provided us with some restaurants and bars to try out. I definitely recommend booking with them to see the city via boat!

Great experience on this boat tour. The missing star is only because the boat tour was 15 minutes shorter than promised and I wish we could have stayed longer because it was so good! Joshua was a great tour guide. We got the full open bar but I would only get the beer and wine package because we didn’t even end up drinking that much on the boat. Very good experience!

It was an excellent boat experience! We saw Amsterdam from a totally different angle while enjoying the included drinks and learning new and interesting facts. Maurice and Tycho were so nice and answered all our question, they really made us laugh a lot and were generally very friendly! We enjoyed the cruise so much that we didn’t want to get off the boat. You have to do a canal tour while you’re in Amsterdam. It’s super touristy but really entertaining imho. Amsterdam Boat 🚤 Trips had great reviews on Google and was centrally located from our hotel in city center. Booking was easy online and it cost right around $52+ Euros for two of us including a drink package. KAS was our Captain and Guide, and he did a terrific job of explaining some history, points of interest, and current events during the canal tour. Great personality and easy going style. He even gave us a bunch of recommendations for restaurants, sights, etc. from a local’s perspective. The boat is on the smaller side compared to the much larger, enclosed monstrous boats on the canal but also lends itself to a much more intimate atmosphere and experience, and the boat is able to go to places where the larger boats cannot. We chose the drink package and it was reasonably priced compared the competition. They had a decent selection of beers, wine 🍷 and soft drinks. Amstel 🍺 was a nice touch since I prefer it to Heineken, but they had both if that’s your thing. You get a great, unique glimpse of the city from the canals and I highly recommend it. Ask for Captain Kas!

Ties and Andre was amazing! We did the wine and cheese tour and ties made sure we were topped off the whole time. So fun! Love that the group size was on the smaller side made it very personable.

We had an amazing tour with Angele and Debbie. Angele is a great host, who manages to keep all the balls in the air: provide background on the art works, serve drinks and make you laugh like a real-life Portuguese stand-up comedian, all at the same time. Debbie effortlessly navigates the canals, through the rain and in the darkness, despite the loud crowd on board. Applause, ladies! We had a great time 🥂

Great tour, the guide was very funny and we enjoyed the whole experience a lot! Not the usual boring guided tour. Moreover, the boat was dog friendly and we were able to bring our small dog with us! Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience on an Amsterdam Boat Trips Canal Cruise with Kat & Mark! They took our group out on the last day for the Amsterdam Festival of Lights so there were so many cool pieces of art to see and experience! The mulled wine was amazing! Thank you ABT!

The weather was amazing (rare in amsterdam) during early January so we had great visibility of the art pieces. Our tour guides Lisa and Levi were amazing, very personable, knowledgeable and funny. Absolutely recommend.

BOOK IT! WOW WOW! Incredible tour with Captain Guido and guide Angela! They were both so full of information and joy and SO kind. They truly made the trip unforgettable. The unlimited drinks were a plus and the cookies were a great little boat snack. The light show was beautiful as well but even without the light show we would've had a great time as well (it was that good)! Beautiful city views from the canal and the boat was comfortable. Blankets provided for cold nights and if it's raining out you'll be just fine as the seating area is covered. The boat was not too big which we really enjoyed as it was more small and intimate and allowed us many questions and for better understanding. Highly recommend this canal tour!!

I was skeptical about choosing a smaller boat (rather then the normal bigger boats that are all over and where no-one talks to you) but the guys on the boat were absolutely fantastic!! Had a great laugh and they were really knowledgeable. I strongly recommend these guys. P.S. buy the ticket with some drinks included ;)

My boyfriend and I had such a great time with Angela and Tycho! We did the cheese and drinks tour which included a bowl of cheese and mustard and 3 drinks per person. It was a great value. Angela and Tycho did a great job telling us stories about each landmark we passed while floating through the canals. After the tour, we got a long email with a TON of recommendations for different types of restaurants and things to do around Amsterdam. I wish we got to stay in the city longer so we could try them all! We highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a nice evening on the canals.

Alice and t hosted us and were friendly, insightful and great fun! Small selection of drinks and cheese available. Came out with a lot more knowledge of the city. Also let us stay on the boat 15 minutes after to finish our drinks and chatted to us even more about history of the city

Only have done this tour, but it definitely was a fun experience. I would recommend it to anyone in the area that wants to spend an hour in the canals and see the city. The drinks are included and the Staff and guides, especially Kas, were amazing. Would certain go again in the future.

The boat trip is a good way to see Amsterdam canals, architecture and enjoy a drink of your choice however, if you have the chance or luck to be guided by Justine and Kas you will learn quite a bit about the city, some history and have a good laugh!

The boat trip itself was lovely- the light show was interesting but we loved looking at the houses and hearing the history of Amsterdam.
