I was very clumsy, I came late, I wanted to enter via the wrong entrance, and I realized that I forgot stuff inside when I was just outside and the pool was officially closed. But the guard was very nice to me, and I managed to get my stuff anyways. She told me that this was an exception and it should not happen again. I was lucky she was in charge of closing the pool. But all in all, I had a wonderful experience! The pool was clean. The only thing which was sad was that the showers were shut down. Corona measures probably.

Me and my 2 years old daughter are attending Fridays lessons. We enjoy very much 💙 The facilities are great.

I am (was) a regular customer who is always polite and friendly to the employees. I never said or did anything strange. Unfortunately, a very unfriendly lady behind the cash register who seemed to want to take out her frustrations about other customers on me. Very strange to see how a loyal customer is treated here. I didn't say a single word of displeasure, but the lady responded very uncustomer-friendly because she seemed stressed about the behavior of other customers. Never any problems with other employees. It is specifically this one lady who ruins the atmosphere. Shame.

A big swimming pool with three different pace lanes which is very nice. The water was crystal clear and the swimming pool was clean and tidy! Because of the Covid measurements it is not possible to use the lockers and the time slots are 45 minutes!

Its hot and I wanted to go for a normal swim but you can’t. Only “free swimming” is available on specific days at specific times: this information can also not be found on the website or on google businesses. So you go there and have to leave again. Great.

I have lived in more than 6 countries of the world and visited nearly 30 countries of the world, nowhere have I seen people allowed to enter the water with clothes (and even normal clothes). What I saw at this pool is very strange how they are allowed to enter a public pool in a non-swimsuit, and that's unfortunate.

Great facilities! Very organized and clean. Unfortunately the only showers are completely open, unisex and right in front of the pool.

This is a very nice indoor pool that offers swimmers to swim long course (50m). Most importantly - at least in my opinion - the staff is very friendly and always up for a little talk! I can get a little crowded in the lanes, though...

Not a nice swimming pool... The upper part of the pool looks like a maze, very illogically laid out... you keep walking towards the back and think you will end up on the other side, but it turns out that you walk around the building, as it were, and eventually towards a cage / emergency exit that you cannot pass... then you can walk all the way back. The toilets are also not very clean and insufficient, there is often a wait, especially when you are upstairs. I didn't see any chores either, could be just me, maybe present in places where you need maps to find them?

Free swimming "Frei zwemmen" in the recreational pool is a disaster. Open only on Wed and Fri 2-6pm, thus very inconvenient for working people. Always full of shouting and misbehaving teenagers and staff doesn't give a damn. Should be called survival swimming instead. Update: they've added more days, a good spot is yet to be found.

Grubby and chaotic. Plenty of staff, but most couldn't answer the most basic questions. Rather than keeping the place clean, or telling people not to enter the shower area with their muddy outside shoes still on (!) they stand around chatting or walk around in a clueless manner avoiding queries. Changing rooms are slippery and very dirty. And the ridiculous locker system is an invitation to theft.

Well, if you miss swimming in hair and plastic than go ahead. Otherwise chose another pool. Other than that, the younger dark curly hair receptionist refuse to speak English and her attitude is anything but customer friendly, not once or twice experienced it.

Amazing pool! Many different pools with different purpose. If you want to swim lanes, I would definitely recommend this pool!

Nice outdoor pool, divided to many smaller pools, with varied deepnes of water. We enjoyed being there for one time in the summer, but never came again. There is not so much shdow on a hot summer days, but besides that it's absolutey worth the effort of going the Amsterdam - Noord.

50 meterbath swimming was great. You have 3 type of lanes, slow, medium and fast. So you can swim in your own pace and not blocking others.

The kids pool is lovely - an interesting shape and floating boards and balls are available for the kids to play with. Always plenty of staff on hand. It's only open for specific hours over the weekend and can get really crowded later in the afternoon

For Amsterdam this is an ok pool. It can be a bit crowded but at least they have clear lane indications (slow, medium, fast).

For a first time user, it's very difficult to find out where to go. Signs are missing, but also on the website the corona measures are not explained. The 50m pool is nice though!

Bit crowded, but a nice 50m pool makes up for this. Free parking is great.

Their booking system is easy to use and their covid procedures are clear. The pool is clean, lanes are clearly marked and it was busy but not crowded.

50 meterpool, large lanes 8 in total, easy access, 4,5€ incl lockers, early in the morning pretty clean, floor in the pool not to clean, not many hours open for lapses and can be busy as it’s the only public 50 meter pool in Amsterdam area...

I have been swimming in the recreation pool for a year now! (for hot water) which is not really hot and the chlorine comes towards you. I have been complaining for a year how dirty the changing rooms, the floors and the toilet are really abnormally dirty. I have emailed with evidence etc and possible solutions... but nothing changes! Emails are answered, but not by someone authorized to do so (wow) I was recently in the Marnix bath and I didn't know what happened to me! So clean! And hot water and friendly staff.. So it is possible!.. Just not in the Sloterparkbad!

Unfortunately, there was only limited agreement for simple spontaneous swimming. There are fixed times when you can e.g. can just swim. Be sure to pay attention to this, otherwise the way to the bathroom will be free.
