I
purchased
a
pair
of
JBL
Live
650BTNC
headphones
about
three
years
ago,
expecting
to
get
a
high-quality
product
given
JBL's
reputation.
However,
the
fabric
of
the
ear
pads
started
to
loosen
after
just
a
few
years,
even
though
I
always
used
the
headphones
indoors
and
with
care.
When
I
contacted
JBL
customer
service,
I
was
told
that
my
headphones
were
no
longer
under
warranty.
As
a
"solution"
they
offered
me
a
30%
discount
coupon
for
the
purchase
of
a
new
product.
I
found
this
downright
unacceptable,
especially
as
the
product's
apparent
lack
of
durability
seriously
disappointed
me.
Additionally,
they
suggested
that
I
could
have
the
headphones
inspected
for
repair
for
a
fee
of
$50
plus
shipping,
while
brand
new
headphones
are
currently
available
for
$99.
Financially
speaking,
this
just
doesn't
make
sense
and
shows
a
lack
of
reasonable
solutions
for
customers
with
legitimate
complaints.
I
am
very
disappointed
in
the
quality
of
the
product
and
subsequent
customer
service
I
received.
JBL
was
once
a
brand
I
trusted
for
quality
audio
equipment,
but
this
experience
has
unfortunately
changed
my
opinion.
I
advise
others
to
exercise
caution
when
considering
a
purchase
of
JBL
products
and
hope
that
the
company
will
improve
its
customer
service
and
product
sustainability.
