๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I was in Amsterdam for a day so short of time. Found a cool cafe with collection of vinyls. Great coffee and pastries to choose from. I had a Brazilian coffee and some pastries. Delicious! Staff were cool and welcoming. Aisha and Dave were very helpful. They make you feel like you at home. A cafe... I loved the coffee, its atmosphere, and the music! We had cold brews and a type of french cake. Both the coffee and the cakes tasted very good. The music was also great. Strongly recommended

Sept 2022 You need to like the music :-) the barista's though know their espresso's (good advice and good espresso). Loved the shop, loved the records especially the 1200MKII's ;-) Little hidden outside the center in a lovely street.

Nice flat white with oat milk. Specialty coffee place while at the same time selling hip hop LPs. Quite interesting experience. Seating is not the best, so itโ€™s not made for staying for a longer period of time

@blackgoldamsterdam had great reviews online so we headed there this morning for coffee. It is an easy going chilled atmosphere. It doubles as a vinyl store which added to the experience. The coffee was smooth and an easy drink. We are quite hard to please with coffee but this definitely hit the mark for us

Had a very pleasant experience at Black Gold. Located on the relatively quiet area of the city, itโ€™s a great place to grab a coffee and have a chill time. Their unique concept of selling vinyls and other goods made the experience even richer and fuller. Recommended.

Simple, authentic coffee shop. Your gonna come here simply for a good cup of coffee to start your day right. Growing up in Aus, we have a really strong coffee culture over there and Iโ€™m super fussy with my cf but I must say that the last year living in Paris, I havenโ€™t found a cappuccino that was this good. It was def a highlight for our Amsterdams trip. A must try!!!!

The best coffee I have found in Amsterdam! Beautiful taste, fresh beans, richness, smooth milk, and they offer oat milk varieties which isn't as common in the area. Hip little spot with great staff and a chill vibe. Loved it, would recommend!

A perfect speciality cafe, where you can find a lot of vinyl recordings and also listen to some right there. The atmosphere and the design is really nice. Coffee was also pretty good and the barista was really kind and helpful. The dessert we had was strange, it's not for everyone, but you can give it a try.

Tried flat white and black coffee, both taste amazing, Itโ€™s soft in your mouth, with a light and subtle blend of flavors. When I say soft, I donโ€™t mean weak. A weak taste is thin and watery, often with sharp taste notes... A coffee for coffee lover indeed! Staff were SUPER friendly

This is a proof that good staff is 99% of success! People are so friendly and helpful, if you have any questions wither about the coffee or records, they are there to help. And the music? If is a delight, sitting there, enjoying your drink and listening amazing soundtrack hand picked by the staff from their private LP stash.

I had to come back. Discovered this place two days ago and I think this is the best coffee in Amsterdam. I donโ€™t usually write reviews but want to point this place out to anyone looking for really really good coffee. Itโ€™s also a vinyl shop with good music playing. Worth walking a couple of streets out of the busy area to get here.

Came to this place by pure luck (well ... via google maps 'explore nearby' really). It's situated in the heart of Amsterdam Old East. Very interesting hipster atmosphere, nice coffee. The cafe is combined with music shop (vinyl and CDs primarily). Recommended - would love to visit again.

Great coffee but was kind of messy when I arrived in the afternoon. Very eccentric vibe, as though you were visiting a messy friendโ€™s apartment but he makes really good coffee. So not a cafe in the traditional sense but still great espresso drinks.

One of the best specialty coffee shops with a cool vibe. Great to chill and listen to some beats. If you get lucky youโ€™ll see David play the flute to the beat.

Underground place in Amsterdam with great coffee, music and vinyls. Friendly barista and yum cakes. Ten coffee for free. If you live in that neighbourhood โ€” definitely recommend to visit in the morning.

Nice, cosy place to get good coffee and listen to fine tunes. Friendly owner who made one of the best Aeropress coffee Iโ€™ve ever had. Not touristy at all, which is good. Recommended!

I donโ€™t drink coffee but I buy a lot of tunes here. Great staff, very friendly and very knowledgeable about coffee and music. I also happen to own The Lastage Inn bed & breakfast on the same street and serve my guests coffee bought from here every morning. Nothing but praise from my guests and so only five stars from me.

Excellent coffee, atmosphere, service, and price-to-quality. Barista was super busy but was still nice, high quality, and quick. There was also live music as the place has a big focus on vinyl records if I recall correctly.

Excellent specialty coffee. We had filter coffee with El Savaldor beans. The roast was earthly, with pleasing amount of acidity. There were many vinyl discs around the cafe as decorations.

I have been there only once during my trip unfortunately but I loved this place to pieces, the coffee was great, there was good music and the barista was pleasant. But above all I must say, this place has character. It is uncompromising on quality and style, and it is all I could hope for in an independent specialty coffee place

๐Ÿ‘ A cozy restaurant with a view. I liked those Avocado chips very much. Comparatively budget friendly in central Amsterdam. (More ideal for a coffee date.) They are providing white bread with steak. . . PS: Donโ€™t forget to reserve a table and visit the restaurant.
