In Amsterdam zuidoost wonen veel Surinamers/Antillianen/Ghanezen en ik merk dat als buitenlander, de interactie met huisartsen een beetje lastig is, omdat culturen verschillen. Ik merkte een bepaalde afstand tussen mij en de huisartsen en verder merk ik dat ze het idee hebben dat je niet op hun niveau kunt communiceren. Ik was ontzettend blij met de nieuwe collega een Surinaamse vrouw ook.(was heel hard nodig). Ik heb het idee dat onze cultuur wordt gezien als een cultuur van angst en veel twijfel. Daardoor worden je klachten en pijn van tafel geschoven zelfs als je deze heel heftig ervaart. Zuid-oost zit vol met slechte huisartsen. Het is echt schrijnend. Bovendien is de gezondheidszorg in Nederland aan het falen, het gaat enkel om cijfers en geld. De menselijkheid is eruit. Als je niet oplet laten ze je liever sterven dan dat ze je doorverwijzen. Als je echt goed hulp wilt, spaar je geld en ga naar België of Duitsland. Daar krijg je meteen een onderzoek en scan als je ergens last van hebt of klachten. (ook al is er niks aan de hand, je hebt dan toch een onderzoek kunnen krijgen om dat vast te stellen). In die landen staat de huisarts staat niet als een blokkerende muur tussen jouw en je gezondheid en welzijn in. Zolang je uit je zak kunt betalen krijg je hulp. Ook vind ik de assistente aan de balie behoorlijk onvriendelijk en ijzig. Beide mannelijke huisartsen vond ik niet goed, maar de roodharige was erger dan de huisarts met langer haar.(Ik noem geen namen hier). Ik deel de mening met RIf Raf hier. De assistente aan de balie is ontzettend onvriendelijk en ijzig, alsof het feit dat ze daar zit betekent dat je automatisch wat van haar wil hebben. Mevrouw u zit aan de balie om mensen te helpen als je dat niet wil doen, ga ergens anders werken.

    Absolutely horrible ! My meds was finished and they refused to help. Im scratching all over my body until blood comes out. The doctor is arrogant. THIS THIS pleas is not helping people only thing they care about is the money. They r unprofessional !!!! Avoid if u care about your health cause they do not listen !!

    Worst GP practice I have ever experienced. You are very ill, they don't take you seriously, they say go ahead, you will get better, people come home so sick they can't get out of bed. Assistants are also rude. Phone calls are put down if you have more questions.

    Despite the theory about non preventive Dutch health care, almost all my experiences ( except one, but it was with my husband) were good and I found a very emphatic and carrying attitude. And now with the new receptionist and her politeness everything is even better. I really grateful for doctor’s van Der Pas and Van Der Woude work and involvement.

    Unbelievable. You don't get help. You are sent back and sent home until the disease reaches critical states. And we pay to have this system.     This is going too far, they moved my appointment without informing me. My irritation about this is laughed away because they have supposedly called me more often, absolutely not. They also confirmed the 10:30 appointment by email. Now they have canceled the appointment completely while I have medical complaints. Too crazy for words. filed a complaint with SKGE against Doctor Abby van der Woude and Sherida Veroort, I advise several people to do this so that something is really done about that practice. Scandalous!
