Good place for breakfast/lunch. They have very nice pastries, all homemade! Also daily specials. You have to order at the counter and can choose any place table which is availanle to your preference. Will definitely return! Also good with children

This place is one of a kind, Modern cosy atmosphere with a touch of luxury in a low key environment Very family friendly and a great place to celebrate all kinds of small events or tea parties. The amazing team is friendly and always smiling, taking time to talk and chat with you. All pastry, cakes and lunch are homemade by the lovely Chef'in, high standards and best quality. Recommendations:passion fruit cheese Cake or a french toast. The coffee is their own blend, specially picked and roasted in Holland, makes it special and not just a commercial coffee (Beautiful presentation of the coffee with "late art") Fresh juice s, hot chocolate with cream, all kinds of different teas, or even filter V60 coffee. You get it here. They also have all kinds of gluten-free, lactose-free vegan, vegetarian options. Oat-milk and Cow milk. I was very happy to come here and definitely one of the places to go when in Amsterdam. (It is not in the centre, but a nice ride on bike from centre.) Thank you guys !

High quality coffee place in a residential area of Amsterdam. The sweets we had were very tasty, the decoration is very modern and pleasant and staff was friendly too. This is a good alternative for a variety of occasions. Price follows the quality but it’s worth it. They have warm tables inside for winter and outside during summer. I recommend.

What a delightful cafe nestled in Oost near Station Science Park! This is my best find in Amsterdam the 6 months that I’ve been here. The atmosphere was restful and pleasant, service was phenomenal and the food and coffee were perfect. My wife had the gluten-free slice of cake and it was delectable - it did not disappoint. I had the Harvey Club Sandwich and it did not disappoint - fresh, wholesome and a beautiful balance of flavors … one can tell they take care to ensure they use quality and fresh ingredients. The sandwich I had is on the “lunch menu”BUT the gentleman who served me offered to do it even though it was only 9AM - this is what I call customer-centric attitude. He explained he would be willing to make it as it wasn’t too busy (the cafe wasn’t empty, by the way, it was just that there wasn’t a line behind me). We didn’t feel rushed and it was lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of Centrum. Other customers were there for a coffee and chat with a friend, others working on their laptops and a few were leisurely reading the newspapers. The kind of vibe I love in a cafe. It’s only January but this just might be my amazing-find of the year :)

Super cute little neighborhood place. Bit hipster (you almost feel like taking regular milk with coffee is not cool enough) but clean and neat cafe for sure. Coffee is tasty and prices are in par with Amsterdam center cafes. There is offer of different pastries even one hour before closing time. The neighborhood seems to frequent the spot, and definitely will be returning when kn neighborhood. Didn’t try food options but definitely looks interesting.

It os super cozy, and well decorated, and beautiful inside and friendly stuff, but it was so crowded and hot there.

There are few better things than finding a neighbourhood gem such as this one. Removed from the vice of sell-out cafe’s, Harvey’s provides a breath of fresh air to its humble corner it so gracefully occupies. The coffee is good. The cakes are dreamy. And the vibes are fine-tuned to perfection.

Absolutely delightful high tea experience at Harvey! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the place had a cozy atmosphere. The price/quality ratio is excellent, with delicious cakes and sandwiches. I give the overall experience a solid 5/5 – highly recommend! P.S. Easily accessible by car, as there are lots of parking available in the area for not too expensive.

Just had coffee and a banana cake. Cake was really dry but I saw they do panecakes so next time I will try those. Also light lunch options are available. Nice vibes

September 2022 Small update, depending on the Barista the speed is incredible fast :-). Terrace is lovely now enjoying the sun. Lovely place nice situated in the corner of the street. Pastries, small bite and coffee (Bocca). Especially the Cinnamon Bunn is a delight. Pastry chef not around so pastries are now from Holtkamp.

You know when you just want to cut a bit the stress and enjoy a bike ride with ur loved one? This happened to me and my boyfriend, we were going to the North part of the city on a bike and we stopped by this lovely spot. The girls were amazing and so the moment spent in there.

A fantastic place to come and get some brunch. Service is polite, friendly, speak Dutch and English fluently, and very patient (even when it gets very busy)! The food is great too, portioned correctly and all made by a phenomenal (and hard at work!) chef. Apparently she also makes all the pastries available. Please be aware thay this is a dog friendly space, meaning dogs are allowed inside. Overall this is a good, cozy addition to the neighborhood.

Harvey's truly offers exceptional coffee quality, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. However, it can sometimes get a bit crowded with young couples bringing their babies and strollers, making it a challenge to find a quiet seat. Nonetheless, it's definitely worth a visit for the delightful coffee!

The place is nice and the coffee tastes good. The location is ok, its next to a crowded road but it didn't bother me too much. The prices are a bit on the high side for what you get. I don't know many other nearby coffee places, so I guess its worth it if you're looking for a place nearby :).

Incredibly lovely place in a quiet neighbourhood in the oost. The cafe has a beautiful design inside, and they pay attention to small details, (there's even a hand cream in the bathroom!). The coffe is very good, and they have one of the best cheesecakes i've ever had:)
