This place was amazing! We brought my Mom and Aunt who thoroughly enjoyed the night as well! Biggest complaint: it’s hard to find. From Katella, you can see the Marriot, you can see a sign for Flemmings… but there isn’t a sign outside that say Tangerine Room. If you Google the directions, you will probably pass it by. The restaurant is IN the hotel. Hopefully they put a sign outside soon, I imagine that would draw more customers, just a tip! It’s nice hidden gem, but it shouldn’t be THAT hidden. The Tangerine Room sounds pretty cool as is, so throw a sign out there! Entice the people! We seated promptly and our server, Andy, was a sweetheart! She did a great job selling us on some of the meals, and described the dishes to us to help us make up our minds. She was chatty, but in a pleasant way, making us all laugh and enjoy the experience. Appetizers: Scallops… you only get 2, but they were cooked to perfection, and the mushrooms had a great earthy flavor! Do Stefano Burratta… if you are wanting to venture out and try something different, give the a try! You could make a meal of it if you’re vegetarian. The squash was very creamy, and the greens wear nice and crispy! Dinners: Lamb Shank… it was huge! I will be making egg and lamb burritos for sure! It was good. I’ll try something else next time. Mary’s Chicken… my mom doesn’t go out of her comfort zone much, and she enjoyed this. It’s different enough to be excited, but not intimidating. Beef Short Rib… this was delicious! It falls apart easily and has just the right amount of juiciness! Dessert: Cheesecake… the hint of citrus added a lightness to cheesecake. It wasn’t too thick either, just the right amount for two. Apple Tarte… this was pretty good! I don’t like Apple desserts, but I had a bite and don’t regret it! I couldn’t eat the whole thing, but I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The manager, Steve, was attentive as well. He told about the rooftop restaurant/ bar, Rise, and offered to bring us up! It felt like a secret invite, you need a special FOB on the elevator to get up there. He took care of us once we were up there, we felt special! All in all, we loved it! It’s the next day and we are still beaming about it :) thanks Andy and Steve! Sorry for the novel, if you made it this far… it just goes to show how much we enjoyed ourselves 😃

Breakfast starts at 6:30. Beautiful atmosphere and the surrounding decor is a delight. I was promptly seated and was able to indulge in a wide selection in preparation for a busy day. Everything tasted fresh and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs. The host and servers were all smiles and was an amazing way to start the day. 😋Yum!

The food here is amazing and the experience is made even better by our server Robin. She is amazing and just so hospitable. She should get a raise for being such a great ambassador. Highly recommended. The lamb-shank was phenomenal and meat simply falls off the bone.

Full breakfast buffet at set price daily. Can order off regular menu. Only ate here for breakfast during our stay. Enjoyed the So Cal Benedict with hash browns, the shiitake frittata, Belgium waffle with fruit, and pancakes. Good coffee as well. Courteous and friendly service that attended to all our needs. Nice atmosphere. Would someday love to try their other meals. Dress is smart casual.

We enjoyed a nice quiet dinner inside the Westin hotel's Tangerine Room. Although the reverberation is loud and echoey throughout the hotel lobby, we enjoyed our meal. Definitely a lot going on with live music, audio overhead and people talking. All the sides are a La carte. The restrooms are located in the hotel and not the restaurant. Most of the tables are full on table or booth table/chair hybrids. They have a small but wide range of choices on the menu from seafood to poultry to beef and then some. We enjoyed a Caesar salad add chicken (which is $8+ and not on the menu) which I felt was a little pricey considering there may have been 4oz of chicken on the salad and it was cold (not freshly cooked). The sides were great. We had brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Both warm and large enough to share ($10 each)... For the main course my husband enjoyed the salmon which was nicely presented and delicious. We enjoyed a glass of Riesling from their vast wine menu and some water to drink. For convenience, we would definitely return if staying at the Westin. It is a Saturday and there was no need for a reservation although we had one and they sat us early.

Server Kyle was outstanding. It was Easter and I'm sure he was busy, but he took his time with us, very knowledgeable of the food. Very charming server. We give him 5 stars.

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Westin Hotel recently open in our area and we wanted to check it out. We used the valet parking, you get the first two hours free (with validation) and after that is $12 per hour. I got there first to meet with my husband, walked around and went to the bar to watch a football game to wait for him. Rico and Anthony were such a delight, they were very polite and professional. Rico prepared a wonderful berry mojito and after that Steve the Manager introduced himself, checked to make sure I was ok and suggested the Tangerine Mojito, so far my favorite, I also tried the regular mojito, all cocktails were made to perfection, wine is great and there is a lovely selection of beers. By then my husband showed up and we moved to the dining area which was very clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Our server was Lauren, she greeted us with a smile and went over the menu and their staple dishes, we had a seven course meal and everything was on point. Starting with the salad , the crudo and we also got the chicken and the lamb and the steak, Food is just stunning along with presentation. Love this place and will continue to visit. The desserts were sinful and we had no complains food was hot, Lauren kept checking on us and no dirty plates were on our table, everything was so synchronized, so we had to compliment the Chef. Chef Alora and Chef Eduardo came to our table and I had to let them know it was the best meal we had in ages. We didn't get a chance to go to the rooftop Bar which I heard is a great place to watch Disneyland's Firework show, so we are definitely planning to comeback soon.

While this place is pretty good, the food was phenomenal and the service was on point, the prices are just a tad on the high side for what it is. Very, very good food, served by an impeccable staff but while it's high end steak house pricing it is just a high end cafe. The location and the ability to tap into the vacationing wallets of international visitors has the prices about 40% higher than they should be. But, as I stated, it's a great place to eat.

The service is impeccable, the Ribeye steak was phenomenal, however the Cesar salad and the Lobster potpie appetizer were terrible..thrle broth was so bitter it overwhelmed the flavor of anything else. The Cesar was too deconstructed, the bread cubes were huge and chewy, the cheese crisps were chewy, it wasn't cohesive in its flavors, maybe too much going on you couldn't enjoy it. The pan seared scallops were divine but then these pickled mushrooms were thrown on..it was too much for the savory scallios, they were delicious seperate though. Just my opinion

I had a great dining experience here while in Anaheim visiting Disneyland. It was nice to get out of the park for a bit and reset. I was hoping to try the Blue Bayou at Disney, but reservations are 2 months out and I didn't know at the time, so this was plan B. However I will not hesitate to make it plan A in the future. The food was amazing, staff was friendly, and the live performer in the lounge rocked! Would recommend!

We were traveling back to San Diego and needed a nice brunch spot. I found the Tangerine room on yelp and headed over to see what it was like. We were highly satisfied with the drinks and food. The only disappointment was how some of the parents were handling their children in the dinning area. The Benedict was excellent! We wanted to more but it was time to get back on the road. We'll stop by next time we go to Disney!

Great place for dinner. They even have a vegan menu. Everyone in our party was very happy with the choice for tonight.

Some amazingly high quality chef-ing going on here, we went back 2 days in a row. Good service, some vegetarian options as well. We had the scallops, the burger, the beet salad, the risotto, the Brussels sprouts, the chicken, the halibut, the onion soup and mashed potatoes, all excellent.. The ravioli base (squash?) was a wee bit under seasoned... Did not get the chance to try the desserts..

We are on the patio since the weather was nice. We ordered the So Cal eggs Benedict, chilaquiles, and wagu burger. It was all very tasty and filling.

What an absolute treat. The food and service here are top notch, so definitely make your way here ASAP before this hidden gem blows up! Making a reservation via open table is easy. We sat in the outdoor patio on a brisk night, but they had heating lamps so it was pretty pleasant. The menu is small, but keeps its integrity with purposeful dishes that are each winners. Our server was Anne, who is an absolute rockstar. We had great conversations with her, she was super bubbly and friendly, and made the best recommendations and definitely knew the details for every single dish. Protect Anne at all costs!! We ordered the Hamachi crudo starter (which on their website menu they mispell as "cuido"), braised short rib, and NY strip steak. Both entrées were really great, with my personal favorite being the braised short rib. It was so tender and melt in your mouth, perfectly complemented by delicious sides of polenta and Swiss chard. Previous photos of this dish had some kind of white foam with the presentation, so not sure if they got rid of something or forgot to add it? Steak was average, but still cooked well and came with chevre whipped potatoes, tiny carrots, and mushrooms. But the winner. Oh man the winner was that Hamachi dish. The flavors were so on point and fresh with layering levels of acid. The fish was thick cut, like real thick. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Please do yourself a favor and get it. We ended with a special off the autumn dessert menu, which was basically a brulee pumpkin bread pudding dish over pumpkin crumble and vanilla bourbon that you poured over. This dessert was also super delicious - you could really taste the bourbon and it was fun to crack the bruleed sugar on top. *** Came back for lunch, was equally blown away by the dishes. Their truffle parm fries are *chef's kiss*. Caesar salad had a unique kick to it with orange zest. Poke bowl was super fresh and tasted great, although I wish the rice was seasoned a little more with vinegar. I was able to choose whether I wanted white or brown rice for this. The wagyu steak and frites was deliciously tender with the bone marrow butter slathered on top. I absolutely loved the salmon dish - there was so much going on in the plate that each bite was a delicious punch of flavor. It was expertly cooked with crispy skin and each salmon layer flaking off. I finally got the strawberry butter cake dessert which was SO GOOD. It had a ton of fresh strawberries that really highlighted the freshness of the dish itself. Our server was Bonnie this time, who was super friendly, also had great tips and was knowledgeable about the menu. What I really like about Tangerine room is that they are committed to highlighting local, fresh, high quality ingredients that are in season. Therefore their menu is dynamic so the home run dishes might not be around for long! Again, so impressed with the awesome food and service here, get here ASAP!
