First as I entered and parked three of the order screens didn’t work and weren’t labeled for incoming people. So of course I kept reversing and entering into a new on until I found one that actually worked. The spacing is really narrow, wide cars and big trucks would not fit. We ordered two 12ct Buffalo sauced popcorn chicken, tater tots, two strawberry milkshakes with banana, and a pretzel. I am disappointed and upset at how the pretzel came out. Burnt, hard and small portion for the price. The Buffalo popcorn chicken was the worse. Never have I seen such chicken so poorly sauced. Like the saying goes quality over quantity. As is, I would have preferred my order delayed more and done correctly.

Horrible. I have been to MANY Sonics in different places and I’ve never had food like this before. My slingers were hard and burnt. They were so hard to eat. My gfs sisters fries were burnt. My pretzel was burnt. They coffee I bought had no sugar and tasted horrible. I spent $30 on lunch and it was terrible.

Very unprofessional. Employees are just standing around talking and on their phones, eating on the job instead of doing any work at all. Came here to pick up a delivery service and let them know I was here to pick up an order. After waiting 15 minutes watching them just standing around I asked if the order was ready they just began to work on it after I asked again. They never even acknowledged the order from the beginning. I’m not sure if the person in the green shirt that looks Bobby Hill is the manager but she needs another job title because she’s definitely it the person for that job.

If I could give this NO STARS I would. This place is horrible, disgusting & they can't even get the drink orders right. Now let's not get in to how terrible they do w/food orders. How hard is it to read tickets when there's 3 copies??? I didn't receive all my food & what I did receive looked like it got pulled out of a dump.

Took my hubby to sonic on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot was quite crowded with only a few parking spots left to claim. I ordered the spicy chicken slinger sandwich and a large Oreo cheesecake and mixed milkshake. I have to say the milkshake was out of this world. It definitely needs to be eaten with a spoon, not a straw. The spicy chicken Slinger was served on a fresh roll that was nice and soft, the chicken had just enough spice to it, the pickles were just the right touch, and the sauce was a little tangy mayonnaise. I was a little disappointed in the size of the sandwich at a cost of five dollars. I wish they had a sonic closer to Garden Grove/seal Beach area. Would I order the sandwich again? Probably not. It was a good snack but not very filling. Wish I would have ordered my favorite. Chili cheese tater tot‘s. But I was trying to be somewhat good. But oh yeah I drank that whole shake!!

Terrible establishment. Seems to be a dangerous place to be too. Employees are rude and refused help to a patron that was assaulted in the parking lot. Other customers ended up helping because the employees offered none! They said it's pretty routine here! Routine for your customers to get assaulted by homeless people!!! Unsafe. Do not come alone if you do!

Friday, Aug 5th in afternoon time. Love this classic feeling restaurant. Parked in a stall, but there is an option to sit at the benches and order. We ordered and got our food in a decent amount of time. Enjoyed our fresh hot delicious food. And definitely can't forget our sluishies we ordered. Employees that we encounter were nice and kind. Definitely don't have any complaints.

Don’t get me wrong sonic is really good the item that I got is pretty different..at first I thought I was in Panda Express. This item is jumbo popcorn chicken bbq

Lots of homeless people in the neighborhood and there is no drive through so you have to park your car in one of the stalls. The machine that we ordered from wasn't working so we couldn't pay for our food so the employee who delivered our food had to go to another machine with my card to pay for our food and bring my card and a receipt back. Food was good just made me feel uncomfortable with all the homeless in the area. A couple of years ago we came here it was not like this, seems like everything changed after 5 years. Food and customer service was great just the area is why I give it three stars

Took my daughter for our 1st SONIC experience. Danyel our carhop person was awesome!! Service was fast. Enjoyed our meals. Great Price. The ice cream cones completed our visit. Can't wait to do this again.

I love going to Sonic. No matter what day it is or what time. This has always been one of my favorite fast food spots. Good food and okay service. Sometimes it takes longer than it feels like it should but it is usually packed so that explains it a majority of the time. When they aren’t busy they are pretty fast. Love the ice cream and they are usually good about what you order. I definitely recommend! 👍🏻

We always love going to Sonic whenever we visit the States. This location was clean and efficient, and the staff was friendly. The food came out exactly as ordered and was delicious. I highly recommend the pretzel with cheese sauce and the chili dog with tator tots. I am always hoping that we get a Sonic in Canada one day!

This is the worst sonics location I have ever been too I drove from garden grove to Anaheim to get my slushie I figured I’d try a new spot out and it was the biggest disappointment ever. I ordered a peach nerd slushie with strawberry and I get a …I don’t even know if it was peach slushie but it had no strawberries or nerds. I go in and ask nicely for my drink to be re made and I get a peach slushie with like barely any of the toppings I asked for . It’s ridiculous The portions Usually served at other locations is way more and atleast a decent amount.. they totally had no regards for customers satisfaction …worst customer service ever not even a “ I apologize for the inconvenience “ or any bit of hospitality I was very unsatisfied and never will come here again and don’t recommend this place to anybody save your money go to another location

Great service, and there were TONS of people here - and they STILL were fast. Waiter was very nice and friendly too! The ice-cream items and Slushies ARE WONDERFUL! Get the LARGE! You will thank me!!! 10 Stars!

I’ve been to a few Sonic locations and always enjoy their beverages and food. Sonic, Anaheim, I’ll be back for the food, however, you NEED to filter your water used for ice and slushies. Currently, your drinks taste like chlorine and just ruins my craving for any of your beverages.

I ate at a Sonic Burger in San Diego many, many years ago and the hamburger was really good, but I found this hamburger in Anaheim to be just okay. The burger itself was picture perfect but the quality of beef was average. I was so looking forward to eating there as we had work in that area today...disappointed. the staff was super nice and the service was great..just not the food. 😪

Placed our order and got our food very fast. The car hop on skates was really nice. The kids loved to see the carhop on skates. We drove all the way from la.

Parking in The stall is compact only. Not fun but our mid size suv can barely fit. Service was excellent! Fast staff, complex order was taken perfectly. Lots of stalls but at least 9 were out of order/not working.

Service took forever! The red button even stopped blinking so I had to press the button 2 times! I tried calling but the phone went straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full. Good thing: the server was nice and mozzarella sticks were good.

They got our order wrong, they corrected quickly so no problem. But the chicken sandwich tasted like the chicken had been sitting there for a day or so. Tasted horrible, my son who is always hungry didn't finish his burger because " it didn't taste good. " The tater tots and onion rings were like warm and not very good. VERY disappointing visit.

Use to love coming to this Sonic as a kid, was in the area so swung by. Food was cold, so I asked for fresh fries, and they were nice enough to bring out from a new, hot batch. (Took them the whole time it took me to the cheeseburger.) This has never been a "fast" food location, but it was disappointing to have cold food after having waited that long, to start. Hopefully, they were just having an off shift!

Terrible! We will never go back again! It took forever for us to order. When we finally received our items, they were melted. I literally had ice cream all over my clothes! Cheesecake shake DID NOT TASTE like cheesecake! My girlfriend's chocolate sundae was horrible! We will stick to DQ from here on. Atleast they have better offers & You won't have to pay as much!

We got here at 9:00 a.m. Which is late considering we're from Oklahoma and Sonic is life it's open at 7am. There were absolutely zero other cars. It doesn't' seem like many people like Sonic in California. We were only there because my son who was autistic wanted much familiar food. We ordered a plain kids meal and it came piping hot! I think his meal is probably the first Burger made that day and it was great!

Food was actually really damn good at this one. The mozzarella sticks were flaming hot, I don't remember when Sonic became so expensive, $34 for two meals. I did substitute the fries for Mozzarella sticks(upcharge of course), but even just adding cherry flavor to my Coke was $.70 cents! I remember when it was only $.30! The amount it costs to eat there now is almost if not equivalent to a sit down restaurant. They were pretty quick at getting the order out when it was fairly busy. Most of the employees were helpful and polite. One female car hop wasn't exactly the most polite or happy person. Dark hair, kinda short, glasses. She didn't say a word to us other than "Hi", handed us our two drinks, the one bag and walked away. I needed something and was trying to tip her in cash, cause we didn't tip on the card. I actually got out of the car and met another employee at the door so I could more marinara and tip her. Still a good trip, went there twice this week as we don't have a Sonic near us. We went to Fullerton twice to look at/pick up a new car. We'd go again if we could.

Con dog is not good. Slush is not good. BBQ chicken is not good.

Sonic has the most awesome shakes ever. I would suggest getting the largest one and sharing with a friend that's what my boyfriend (Ruben) and I did and we are both around fifty years old. We had so much fun that night with a strawberry cheesecake shake, it was like being a kid again.
