Ordered take out. Food is packaged very well. First time trying this place and was not disappointed. Look forward to trying other items on the menu.

This is a great spot. Great beer and actually tasty food. This is my first time here but I will definitely be back. Awesome laid back atmosphere throughout the whole brewery with chill music played in the background. Highly recommend.

Came here before the baseball game, it’s perfect! Order from the table on your phone or head up to the bar. Love the vibe of the place, decorated well! Food was great!! Got the Korean chicken bowl and firecracker salmon. Lots of beer on tap, hard kombucha was amazing!! Highly recommend!!!

Thanks Brandon. The whole experience was on the verge of disaster until this guy took the time to acknowledge me. They definitely earned a repeat patron. This is going to be a negative 5 star review. Didn’t have the heart to ‘Neg em after speaking with Brandon. I’m going to keep it constructive. When no one is responsible, no one can be held accountable. I say this because “waiting” the tables is a group effort here. This allows some of the staff to coast leaving the “try hards” to pull the cart. To gain refills or service, you need to “flag” down someone in a Karl Strauss Shirt. I’ve never had so many people duck my eye contact outside of middle school dances. Eventually the “Try Hards” will burn out and find a more rewarding experience else where leaving the loafers destroying the service in their wake. Tipping before you ever experience the service of the staff is absurd, I tipped 20% because well it’s customary and I realize it’s important. Outside of Brandon, I would have lowered that significantly due to the level of service we received varied DRASTICALLY from person to person. Brandon? 30% the random dudes who ducked every single eye contact even going as far as to completely ignore me as I talked directly at them while they walked by- probably busy. No idea. We had to create several orders - which is inconvenient but overlook-able. Every server that took the time was fantastic, the several members of the team who would rather loafer around chatting could be unscheduled tomorrow and I promise not a single patron would know the difference - only the person pressing go on the ADP “Run Payroll” Button. Either way food was fantastic, service once I was aware of the situation was manageable. ( You definitely have to “pick one” and let the loafers coast through their shifts) Excellent food and drink highly recommend. Also should be noted if your here with your buddies I don’t believe you will experience this as each buddy will have their own ordering experience and beverage delivered promptly. What runs astray is treating this place like your traditional restaurant. Peace ✌️

Great first experience at Karl Strauss! I've had several of their beers before but never been at their restaurant, so my wife & I decided to check their Anaheim location out! I was a little disappointed they didn't have a KS brew I was wanting to taste for awhile now "isomerizer ipa" but that's ok. Great open, laid-back atmosphere. The Angels had a game next door at home when we went but glad they had a few TVs with the Dodgers game on;) Also it's quite open, you seat yourself, had plenty of seats inside and out, easy to order via app, ordered some tasters as well as ordering their pork chop for myself & wife decided on wings. I forgot to take pics of the food though but was pretty good. It wasn't to die for, but still tasted great and paired well with some of the beers. Cheers!

Karl Strauss is a great stop before an Angels game. The vibe is great. The beer is better than Golden Road’s beer and the food was much better than Golden Road’s. Service was great! This will be our new spot to hang out before games where beer doesn’t cost you $15.50 a pour (stadium prices). Get there early enough, and you won’t have to pay the $10 fee to park either. Well worth it!

Food is good! Beer is good. Open seating concept, I like it. You seat yourself, order on your phone, pay on your phone. Everything is so easy. I think restaurants should all do this to save on overhead and have the food cheaper. This is a great concept and it was a great experience.

It is a cool brewery and food options were good as well. It’s very close to the Angels stadium and is occupied even on weekdays which gives a nice vibe!

They have really great food and really great beer! We ordered the garlic fries and humus appetizers and were all really impressed. For the mains most of us ordered the salads but loved it! The salmon bowl was great too but honestly the chop salads were bigger portioned. Would definitely come back and explore the menu more, everyone was very happy with their order!

Came here for an event, large parking lot right across from Angels Stadium. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with two bartenders serving at all times. Good variety among the 25 offerings on tap -- I tried the "Drink This or the Bees Die" golden ale (good) and the "RAIDA" Japanese style lager (very good, something I haven't seen before). Bartenders were friendly and generous with recommendations and sampling pours.

Food was great!! Not sure about the service I get that you have to initially order at the bar but nothing else after that?? Our food was dropped off and didn't see the waitress after that...no more service We wanted to order more beer and try different ones but couldn't order Not sure if that's the sort of service they give Maybe had to keep going up to the bar to order.?...it wasn't the case with other tables though

Karl Strauss (Anaheim location) is not as crowded as their neighbor, Golden Road Brewing, and I'd love to keep it that way! This is a great place to meet with friends. In the back they have a big space for large groups or small events. There are TV screens and tabletops in the front where the bar is. The bathroom is huge and clean. Parking is a breeze. They have a huge lot. I've been to the garden location in San Diego and have had great experiences there. Here, it's just as great - minus the views. What keeps me coming back - the food. The beer is just the bonus ;) The turkey burger was so good I ate the whole thing before my friends finished their food. The ordering is easy because you scan a QR code. You can place individual or group order. I can see Angel fans coming here since it's so close to the Angel stadium (baseball). Their happy hour sounds like you could get great deals! I'll be back.

Worst customer service ever. Sat at the bar. Acted for fifteen minutes to get a menu, had to ask for one. People sit down next to me and order their appatiser and get it immediately. Wait for another 15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order, or ask if I wanted another drink. No one came. Got fed up and paid for my drink and left.

I like the food! I like beer. I appreciate the open seating concept. You order, place, and pay for your meal using a smartphone. Everything is very simple. To reduce costs and provide cheaper food, I believe all restaurants should implement this strategy. Both the idea and the experience are excellent.

We went during the day for happy hour. It was absolutely delicious! Really happy we got the Pico on the side for the street tacos since they came with jalapeños and I’m not a fan. Everything was absolutely delicious! Really happy we were able to have our doggie with us. Absolutely recommend!

Really good burgers - high quality free range meat and excellent cheese options. The desserts are light and not too sweet. Great selection of beers, most made by the company. I chose the sour and enjoyed it, though it was “sour style” as opposed to a direct sour. Ordering is great - just sit at a table and scan the QR code to order. No messing around with splitting checks. You pay as you go and just up when you leave.

Great food, plenty of seating areas both indoor and out. Ordering was a breeze both at the bar and via Bar code scanner on the table. Sundrop was my favorite for a light ipa style. Then all thier ipas had a distinct hoppy juicy and bitter styles. The amber was a little flat or the ipa threw my pallet off. All beers are good and worth a tasting If your looking to expand your pallet. I had the fish and chips around 16$ and about 10 tasters of beer for about 30 total. Got filled up and quenched my thirst with everything! Even grabbed a growler to go! Definitely recommend it!

Loved this place! Fish and chips are fantastic and they severy different types of beer on tap. The indoor/outdoor feel was nice and it's directly across the street from the Angels Stadium. Highly recommend!

Fun spot just south of angels stadium. Cam here because Google thought they still had happy hour but sadly they discontinued it with COVID. Still a great spot and great selection of brews.
