3.5 stars. I was a little skeptical with the location and look of the place and the staff.. but the food was great. We got a torta, costillas and chilaquiles. All good.. torta was a little toasty.. and rice was not the greatest, also on a dry end. I wanted to try their menudo but am always skeptical of eating that at restaurants during the week, but lots of people came and went with orders of menudo, which made me regret my decision of not trying it. So I'd give it a try next time. We got there at 9am and they were cleaning tables from last night and taking out trash, this should be done the night before during closing for sanitary reasons! The menus are old looking and did not feel clean, should renew/remake them. Those was the only things I disliked

It's a decent place I've had there menudo before this shrimp tostadas are good. . If you order from here just make sure you check your order. I wanted all salad with spicy shrimp and this is what I got. Shrimp were good but not a fan of rice and beans

The most nasty food I have ever tried, the chilaquiles are hard tortilla chips covered with sauce, (not real chilaquiles) and I asked for over easy eggs and they were served burned with the yolk completely hard, very bad tasteless food and expensive, 23 dollars for one hard tortilla chips topped with unflavored green salsa .nothing as the menu photos . Don’t go to this place , IHOP’s or Paul place is better for the same price .

Came here for some food before heading home. Someone I know mentioned that this place was good. It was very clean and had some people sitting in 7 tables. The tacos were very delicious. The torta de milanesa de res was a little dry both the meat and the torta itself. I got a Mexican soda with a cup of ice. I also got a coffee which was very good. I don’t usually drink hot coffee I prefer iced coffee but I would drink this hands down. Overall I had a good experience. I heard the menudo is good 👍🏽

I was a loyal customer at this restaurant for a very long time but unfortunately this will be the last time I go. The service was bad! I’m not sure if they have bad management now because back then they were always nice. This time the cashier was very rude. I asked for a caldo de camarones and a torta de jamón with everything. The caldo was bland and had no flavor and I use to always ask for tortilla echa de mano because they were very delicious. This time they gave me regular tortillas and charged me for them. The torta only had cheese, beans and jamón. What is that…… I said I wanted it with everything. Usually tortas come with at least lettuce and tomatoes. That was my last straw. To add the service was very slow and I wasn’t even dinning in.

Al pastor burrito wet with the green sauce. AMAZING! We also had the asada nachos. All of the meat had such vibrant and amazing flavor. It's just a little small spot in a lot across from a gas station so it's easy to miss. Horchata is my favorite and theirs didn't disappoint. I will absolutely be back.

This place is really good. The customers are very aware of quality regional Mexican food and Michoacan is often under represented to my awareness. Loved the food and look forward to tasting more of the menu.

The food is always great but it seems like at this location the kitchen staff has a bad attitude well some of them. Another person was waiting for their food & even he was like surprised by how they were acting with him. They just need to work it & it will be a great place. Also, the prices aren't correct.

Great food, came for breakfast, I had the chilaquiles and a taco de al pastor. My wife had menudo and shrimp and carnitas tacos. The service was great. We were seated pretty fast, and our food came out fast.

Husband suggested Lindo Michoacan for lunch and I couldn't be more satisfied! We both ordered tacos and were they delicious! I wanted lengua but they didn't have it that day, so I settled for carnitas and al pastor. so good. we also shared a frijoles (con queso) and tortilla chips. the chips are perfect! a light crunch. The frijoles was so flavorful without being salty. best ever! There a tons of items on the menu. will be coming back for sure.

Meals are great here having most now via doordash these days. My only complaint is that portions are small for the price. The handmade tortillas are well worth the $2.99 for three. Green Chile Pork Costillas / Riblets and Chicken Mole plate are a few of my favorites. Go give them a try if you like authentic Mexican food.

We had the menudo and chilaquiles. Both were very good. The chilaquiles have a spicy kick to them and the steak is tender.

The most amazing Mexican food I've ever had! My husband and I are traveling through CA and took a chance on this little whole in the wall but it is now our best Mexican food experience. Their meat is actually marinated properly leaving it flavorful and tender. Also they make their own corn tortillas that were above and beyound. In love with this place!

Stopped in here for lunch today with a friend & my mom. Delicious is an understatement. I had the costillas en salsa roja & the salsa had sooo much flavor, the meat was cooked to the perfect tenderness paired with rice & beans that were amazing. The tortillas here were so fluffy and fresh as well. My mom had the albondigas & said the broth was so yummy & the meatballs had an amazing flavor. The food tasted like it was home cooked & made with extra love. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Food was fresh and we didn’t wait forever for our food. The menudo, TOP of the line, best I’ve ever had!! 😍 Definitely recommend this place, and will be making this a stop every time I come to Cali.
