The staff is super friendly and this is the closest I can get to Hawaiian bbq. The hubby was homesick from the islands so he said that the loco moco is legit so there you go. The food is fresh upon made to order. Love ordering their musubi yeah they don’t offer refills but that’s okay honestly the food is great better then l&l just a heads up

AMAZING!! I was away from home (Oahu) and hungry. Saw this place from afar (new to Cali, on vacay) and was a little cautious but said to myself, what the heck. The service here was so good. They were kind and very customer eccentric. Got my food in no time, and people....it was delicious!!! I am completely satisfied with my meal and absolutely approve of this place. Not that they need my approval as they have been here for many years. Now I know why. Thank you Hawaiian King BBQ!

Surprisingly this place is actually really good. Ordered the #21 with musubi roll, they were both really tasty. May not overwhelm you with flavors but has the right amount to be satisfying. They also serve boba here and recommend the Thai tea. I've seen some bad reviews, but the good out weigh the bad. And I'm sure they're improving on their quality standard. Side note The staff here are very welcoming and friendly.

Good food! Bought a bunch of musubis for our kids, and they individually plastic wrapped each one without me asking. Other places won't do this. Ono too!

For completely frozen, pre-cooked, and mix it up good it was decent. For the price... NEVER AGAIN!! I could go to the market, get the exact same ingredients, and make a meal for an entire family for what they charged for 1 meal. PRECOOKED, FROZEN FOODS!!! Oh, and don't forget the "cook" and also the "boss" poor the food to heat up, touched the computer, phone, counters, credit cards, and dished the orders WITHOUT even once washing their hands or putting on gloves!!!

Got the short rib plate for 17 dollars and couldn’t even eat it. The meat was so rubbery and chewy. I’ve never had that problem at other places. I’m only giving it 4 stars because my husband got the pineapple chicken and it was good. I end up just eating that. But I feel like I just wasted my money.

I have lived in this area for over 2 years and today I decided to try it out. First off let me say, I am very satisfied with the customer service they provide here. Since it was my first time here I had to ask for a suggestion from Gio(the cashier). Gio was extremely helpful and polite. He not only made a great suggestion but he also went above and beyond by getting me a sample of their chicken and macaroni salad. All of their plates comes with one side of macaroni salad and two sides of rice. I got the #1 which comes with two different styles of chicken, one was grilled to perfection and the other was chrispy fried. Its was delicious. Hawaiian King BBQ is a mom/pop restaurant they have been at this location for almost 11years. 10 out of 10!!! If you are looking for a good meal come here!

Food was delicious, made to order so be patient. It worth it. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and very sweet. Parking is a bit crowded because of the Target and other store but I'm definitely coming back often.

We ordered the loco moco and kalua pork. Keeping in mind that this is a fast food Hawaiian place, I would say it's pretty good for what it is and it certainly hit the spot. Be sure to ask for bbq sauce if you get the kalua pork though, it doesn't have much flavor on its own. The cashier taking our order was wonderful though. We didn't realize they had adjusted hours for the day we went, meaning it closed half an hour earlier than advertised on Google, but she didn't rush us at all and even welcomed us to dine-in.

It was pouring rain.. food was kinda bland to me.. not quite enough FIRE.. rice was good. Help was enthusiastic, place was quite nice and cleaned well.. no food issues either I'd wished I grabbed Sriracha sauce packets.. a good place to share meals ?? Mix n match

Chose this place without expectation after hours of play time at Kid's Empire, an indoor playground nearby. We were tired and hungry and ready to grub. Guess what? THE FOOD WAS BOMB!!! My son and I shared the CHICKEN COMBO -Chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki with rice and macaroni salad. Huge portion. Chicken was cooked perfectly and Mac salad was on point! I'd order it again. My husband enjoyed his SEAFOOD PLATTER -Fried Shrimp, fried fish with rice mac salad. Huge portion too. They also had boba drinks. We tried the mango slush with Boba and was a little sweet for my liking but still good. Customer service was great! The young girl who took out order was nice and helpful and the older lady who maybe the owner was really nice and offered us water and check on us making sure we were okay. Will be back if we are in the area.
