I think I'm coming around to the view that the pizza at Bear's/Moose's Tooth is overhyped and not worth a wait, but some of the other non-pizza options are still excellent. Kids menu is very good and well priced. I like all the protein choices to add to plates, particularly the blackened cod and blackened salmon. I had the peanut tofu bowl with blackened cod, an atypical pairing I think, but really liked it!

Kind of a long wait to get a table. Food was decent. I was expecting more fries, when you have to pay extra to get fries with a burger. There must be a fry shortage🤷‍♂️. Food was decent. Our waitress was nice.

Fantastic food. Found this in the Lonely Planet booked as the best food and cocktails in Anchorage. We stopped in after a long day of kayaking and were not disappointed. The food may very well have been the best we’ve had on our entire trip this far! Mac and cheese pizza, salmon bowl, and bear margarita were awesome!

Ate here multiple times and I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better burger. I’ll be dreaming about it until I can come back, but it was a special so I probably won’t get to eat it again. The Kenai burger was somethin’ special. The rest of the food was delicious as well, I’d recommend the soup, the fries (not a soggy fry in sight, honestly- wow!), the salads- all delicious! I’d recommend and will return when I’m back in the area

Great place to stop for lunch. Must try the garlic cilantro fries. They have delicious home brewed root beer and cream soda that we thoroughly enjoyed. Burger was cooked to perfection and did not disappoint. Other in my party had chicken fried chicken, salmon bowl with coconut rice, and fish and chips. They all enjoyed their meal. Overall very pleased.

Bear Tooth Theatrepub is a must visit stop. They have a lovely seating area if you are looking to have a quiet dine in for pizza. The real joy kicks in with their theatre experience. They have a selection of second run and even classic films that you can purchase tickets to. Outside of the normal film experience, concessions also consist of beer and pizza. Let them know your seats and what you want to eat and they will discreetly bring your food into the theatre when it is ready. Pizza, beer, and cinema are a perfect match.

Pizza/Theater on one side, sit down restaurant with an extensive menu on the other side. Strong drinks offered in either location. Ask for Charles, he's a terrific server with a great personality

I had the guacamole and chips and a bowl of the pazole soup. My waitress was kind and patient. I ran into a friend here, a lovely one, so that was really nice. The atmosphere was nice, although I wished there was more modern music playing. My food was delightful. I want to come here for brunch. I ate on the grill side. On the other side, I usually get garlic treats. I will be back for this soup!

Had to check it out since I visited Moose tooth. Sat right away at the bar. Server/bartender was kind and quick with service and giving great recommendations. The food was brought out in a timely fashion and the fries were amazing and the Monte Cristo was delicious. I recommend.

Get a little taste of a Anchorage restaurant with a variety of foods from salads, pizza, sandwiches, and more. If you can’t get into Moose’s Tooth; Bear Tooth is the next best thing. Staff is efficient and well trained. There is usually a crowd but it makes it fun! 😊Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our visit. Staff was attentive, food was good except for their tortillas that go stiff and cold within seconds. We enjoyed their fish tacos and asked for spicy salsa. They brought us a house made green and red salsa; both really good!

It’s pretty good. Highly recommend if your visiting or have somebody visiting. The better food is on the theatrepub side but the fancy food is on the grill side. Had a burger, it was pretty good. There has definitely been a change in the past few years, as the overall vibe feels very different. Overall, it feels more cookie cutter and less of the “Alaskan experience” it was before. I would say it’s less friendly to locals and more of a normal restaurant. Theater side is still pretty good though. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Like anyone else, if you could give a negative five star review, I would!!! Couldn't be more disappointed to find my pizza completely undesirable to eat. Once opened at home, found onions scraped off to the side like someone else had opened it, and the whole top of box inside like someone smashed on purpose. Gave this place a second chance after a first screw up when they completely gave us the wrong pizza when ordered. Too bad for them, will not be recommending to any tourist who ask me where to eat in Anchorage.

Really enjoyed our dinner here while visiting Alaska. The service was great, the price was a good value, and the Blackened Salmon dish was incredible. I also enjoyed the Key Lime Pie, which I never pass up whenever I see it on the menu. Would definitely recommend this as a top restaurant to stop at during your stay in Anchorage.

The lucky ducky burger is exquisite. A locally raised over-easy duck egg, roasted garlic spread, all beef patty, arugula, avocado hollandaise on a brioche roll. The burger is moist & delicious whilst utilizing the most underrated ingredient on a burger - a fried egg!

I'm told you can get the same Moose's Tooth pizza for way less of a wait. We just ate without a movie and still enjoyed it. My burrito wasn't super hot by the time it got to me though. It was delicious, however. Definitely worth the try, especially if you don't want to wait hours to get into Moose's Tooth.

Delicious food all around down to the dessert! Service was great even with a full dinner rush. Every dish was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back soon!

Definitely one of the best restaurants from Anchorage. Great food, excellent service and a good atmosphere. Very diverse options with Alaska grown ingridients. Is a good place to have a dinner with friends or family and everybody will like something from the menu.

Unironically one of the best pizzas I have ever had (Call of the Wild). Also had the calamari, which was excellent and offered a creative spin on the usual fried squid. Hip and busy environment with reasonable prices.
