Passing through Ankara for a few nights and went to L’avare Sahne based on good reviews. The food and service were excellent. Stated with tapas, tons of flavor and unique dishes of pickled tunny and raw kofte. Followed by the octopus dream and octopus carpaccio which I highly recommend for both taste and fun presentation. Finished with the mushroom ravioli and lion king (brisket) sandwich. Service and ambiance were unique to Ankara an I would highly recommend to others. Only downside was when we asked for dessert they said that the kitchen had closed but they had not mentioned that the kitchen was closing at any time during the meal which was a disappointment. Complimentary tea/coffee was offered but would have preferred better communication.

Worst experience imaginable. I called ahead for a table for two. I was told that, they have available seating. As I arrived with my wife and a baby. I never expected such inhumane treatment. I was told The kitchen was closed and no seats were available. As people were been seated. If you speak English or a foreigner. Please be aware.

Amazing place! Cozy atmosphere, playful music, cheerful stuff with beautiful smiles, and most important - delicious food! That was one of the best carbonara I've ever had, juicy, and meaty, and peppery, with the hint of fire roast. I would definetely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great food, drinks, and entertainment! We had the daily tapas and it was wonderful. Drinks are well made and generous. We saw the Ankara Flamenco Association's flamenco show. The music and dancing was wonderful! Great to have something like this in Ankara! Can't wait to go back! Just to add, some waiters spoke English.

This was amazing! My friend and I went to try out the vegan cuisine. A temporary special vegan menu was prepared - I believe to see how the meals would be liked & if it would attract people. I hope that it will a permanent choice one day. The food was absolutely delicious and 100% vegan. When I looked at the regular menu, one thing I absolutely loved was that there was something for everyone - vegans, vegetarians, and even fans of pork (this is Turkey)! They sell kombucha, but it's expensive - 20 TL for one bottle (probably 250ml). The restaurant itself is cosy, attracts a chic crowd, and the service was great! Definitely a place to visit.

This place is a gem in Ankara. All of the food I have tried here has been unique and flavorful. Some of the pasta dishes are handmade, crisp pizza and the best tiramisu I have ever had. Empanadas were fresh and authentic. The cocktails are some of the best in Ankara. Unique combinations and nice and strong. Service is also impeccable. Can't go wrong here.

Although the service staff takes care of you in the most courteous way possible to make you happy, there seems to be a serious problem with procurement and planning at the time being. On a Sunday evening, we were told that half of the main course dishes and a considerable portion of the drink menu could not be served due to supply and stock problems. We do understand that some alcoholic beverages might be coming in short to prepare cocktails, however, we do not understand how the half of the main course dishes cannot be served or why information about this problem cannot be given before/while giving the menu.

Unforgettable night for me! I love how all treat us. Incredible dishes you can taste. My proposal happened there so very special place for me and inside decorations are magical. You feel like you were there.

We chose this place for a date night with my wife. It was our first time there but we definitely loved it. We didn't have chance to attend to one of their performances but we'd love to one day. Their cocktails are really good and their tapas are tasty (though it'd have been nicer to have more than 3 shrimps in a dish). I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice evening.

Very good. I like the pizza. Very Italian. The burger is good as well. Not so fatty. The whole vibe of the place is very pleasant.

We went there for dinner and really enjoyed it . We had the tapas, pizza and pasta. All full of flavor. The waitress took her time to explain the dishes, they’re fast. Great service. Loved the restaurant theme too!

The atmosphere is great, the portions are big and the staff is nice and helpful. The food was good but very expensive. Would need to try more options to see if it's worth it, maybe for some things from the menu it would be 5 stars

To celebrate my birthday we ordered hot and cold tapas accompanied by a stage show. Almost all of the tapas were legendary. I can't comment on the other dishes as I have not sat in the restaurant section and haven't tried the other dishes.

Beautiful place, simple and effective menu. Cocktails could use some tweaking. The theme is great and the staff is really kind. Food portions could be a tiny bit larger when it comes to red meat. Definitely worth a visit

Without any doubt, this is one of the best restaurants i went ever. In terms of every single aspect its awesome. Staffs are wonderful, food are amazing, music selection phenomenal, drinks amazing, interior lovely, and overall its awesome. Liked it very much. Specially staffs make the place unique.

The Jukebox performance was really fun. They are very talented! They even picked me from the audience to do trivia (which they translated in English because my Turkish is not great). It was a memorable night. I will definitely return again.

This small but rich stage in the heart of Ankara is sure to bring you joy with its delicious tapas while you sip your favourite cocktail and enjoy watching the best artistic events in town. PS. Due to new regulations guests are to show their Vaccination Cards or a PCR negative test result from 48 hours prior to event(,which actually makes me feel really safe).

One of the best restaurants in Ankara that I’ve come across. The dishes are beautiful and delicious while prices are still reasonable for a full table service restaurant with such good quality food and presentation. Their pastas and pizzas are really awesome, and desserts are quite good too. They have a theatre in there and there’s a whimsical fairytale themed section in the restaurant. Their service staff are friendly and hospitable too.

They are very careful about covid rules and provide great service. We love to go there and try different tapas from the world cuisines. + Valet service + Cozy seat arrangement + Smiling service + Different cuisines + Good wine options + Interesting events/nights (cabaret, music recital, dance etc)

The menu isn't typical Turkish food. It's a good restaurant if you are looking for something different. The prices are a bit higher than average but worth the extra money. The ambiance is European with traditional European music.
