To see Eymir lake from top was great! We came this part of the forest first time and enjoyed a lot! The place is middle of the city, Tracking with kids and get fresh air is well worth! You can come for run or cycling aswell..

Wonderful place in Ankara. Jogging and walking around the pond is very nice.(app 5km track) Weekdays it is very peaceful place to be. However in weekends its a terrible place full of people, kids and cars. No peace in weekends at all.

Great piece of nature in Ankara. A lot of trails for hiking. There is a dog shelter at one part of it but dogs don't seem to be aggressive.

Huge forest that covers a very large area. Trees and wildlife are just breathtaking. Eymir lake centered in the middle, there you can rent bikes and quads and go through the paved paths and have çay or dinner at an eatery. Beautiful sunset over the lake as well. Very well preserved thanks to METU

Beautiful overlook of Emir Gölü. Peaceful winding paths through a pine forest. Great time alone or with your best friend.

A forest with a beautiful lake. You can rent a bicycle from the gate to take a walk in the forest .. It has restaurants and a nice café and quiet .. There are no children's park or places to barbecue, it is for picnic and fishing.

Love that green Eymir lake with my bike. One can hire a bike and tour around the lake.

Eymir is different every visit. Junk sculpture attracts attention. We are continuing with art at Çarşı.

It is a wild life exhibition in the hearth of Ankara. On the trails you can take a quick walk for 30 min. or go for a bigger adventure exploring the whole area and observing the lake.

It's a great place for hiking, cycling and having fresh air by the lake. Entrances are limited by days and time frames. Make sure that you check the opening hours before you go.
