The worst place to stay in the entire country. Rude staff. Zero customer service. Not a single person speaks English, so communication is not easy if you don't know Turkish. Dingy, dark and smelly lobby. We had booked our stay via hotels.com. When we arrived, the hotel manager told us they had cancelled their contract with hotels.com and we would have to cancel our reservation, and pay them directly. When I explained that I had fully paid for our stay and it was too late to cancel, they said they were willing to take half of the money we had paid and let us stay!? Long story short, we managed to find another hotel in the neighborhood and we recived a refund from hotels.com but Murat Hotel remains as our worst memory from our trip to Turkey.

It is a disaster! Costumer service is terrible! I am living in US and I need to book two rooms for my family in Ankara. I chose Murat Hotel because I found it on Priceline and I thought it will be like all other hotels. Unfortunately they didn't let me know that they don't accept credit card. So my family had a lot of trouble with the payment over there. IT IS JUST IRRESPONSIBILITY!!! If you put your hotel on Priceline it should be like all other international hotels!
