Deserts are as great as the dinner selections. It's open 24hrs. I liked the soups and vegeterian dishes.

Great location, close to bars and pubs. Ideal for late night. Make sure you try kelle paça.

Excellent place to fill up with good selection of vegetarian as well as non for a minimal fee. Very friendly staff. I would recommend Asure as dessert as it is slowly going towards extinction. Not a place for a romantic night out. Would highly recommend.

Extremely overrated place. More expensive than New York restaurants, way lower quality than even fast food cafes. Avoid this place. They think that they can set any price they want due to location. Owner must be a greedy guy (for money)

Food is average. Compared to Beykoz I can not recommend Rumeli. Mumbar is so full of cumin that it hurts your stomach, kokorec is overcooked and dry. Soups are so so.

The kokorec is delicious. The iskembe soup was not very tasty, can be improved. The service is excellent. Clean restaurant with good atmosphere.

whether in the middle of the night after some heavy drinking or for just an occasional lunch or dinner, this is the place you shouldn't be missing out for tasting some traditional food( other than kebabs) Especially if you're not disgusted with offal, this is a heavenly place for you. İşkembe soup is their signature but don't miss out the hidden gems in their menu. Their specialty dishes are based on offals but they also have vegetarian dishes and they are also nothing but spectacular as well. Remember, if you can't choose from the menu, you can always go inside and choose from the counter where you can find a variety of daily dishes.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ankara. Has great variety of soups, meals and desserts, which you can not find in many places in the city. Open 24/7. True address for a real home cooked meal experience and real Turkish cuisine, if you are aiming for beyond kebap.

If you are in Ankara and looking for a trattoria kind of place go for Rumeli. Reasonable price, different tastes with huge portions. Give it a try and enjoy.

Rumeli is the place if you like to taste traditional Turkish cuisine. They have very nice soups made from offal( eg. paw tongue soup), kelle (head of the animal) is also one of the delicacies .. you can also find several dishes like rice and beans, meatball, spinach etc depending on the season.. which are called as sulu yemek in Turkish meaning casserol dishes. Enjoy!

It is a traditional kitchen where you can find smoked cattle head, tripe and tongue soups, stuffed lambs intestine saute or buttered fried etc. Many years back I bet it was more delicious and tasty. Nowadays, something is missing in terms of degree of taste that might be caused by high prices for ingredients. Still I can strongly recommend. Enjoy for traditional healthy food.

This place for people who want to try traditional Turkish cuisine, and like cow gut, testicles, head meat, tongue and foot and things like that. Mainly they are not speaking English but the waiters let us choose from the main dishes directly, food was good and serving was quick, the place not crowded and the price was not bad

One of the best places for non grilled food in Ankara. I've rediscovered it after 25 years and it is still great.

There are variety of soups. Taste is okay, portion is big. Other food options are fine as well.

The taste is exactly what you'd expect from a good local Turkish soup. In the cold days of Ankara, this is exactly what you need.
