Had delicious dinner here with amazing service. So good we went back for lunch the next day! Great tartiflette and the blanquette de veau was sublime!

Friendly staffs, and dog friendly (given the limited space). Food is pretty much standard / typical along other restaurants in that district. If you managed to see by the Riverside, it is quite nice. They got water moist spray every min or two to cool down the outdoor guests. A pretty good choice in that district!

Incredibly impressed with my experience at Le Chalet. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was cozy and the food…ah the food…”très magnifique” is the only term that seems to fit. My group stumbled upon the restaurant while visiting Anncey and it was the best accident of our trip. Would recommend going out of your way to indulge in their food and enjoy their hospitality!

Delicious and stylish - wonderful traditional restaurant in the heart of Annecy. We already booked a table for our next visit in this charming town. The food was simply amazing and the staff is most nicely. Thank you!!

Most romantic and charming place on Annecy! Service was excellent. Food was really tasty and good. Crem brulée is the best ever! And the timber interior is worth sitting inside.

Fantastic setting by the river and excellent local cuisine! Make sure to book as the restaurant can be busy. A lovely evening

We went there for lunch. Even though the restaurant was packed, we were able to get a nice table. The wood interior is very welcoming. The quality of the food is good but it’s a bit too pricy for what you get for that price. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Very charming restaurant. We visited in September it was full, still managed to get a table without pre-booking. The food was very tasty and we got served a very good wine to pair it with food. Snails are for sure a favorite to go for.

Everything was top there nothing to complain about Le Chalet. I just can recommend to make a reservation, because they have a lot of guests. Prices are justified.

The food was great. But the service is a problem. Very slow and the attendant was a bit rude. Anyhow I love the “Cafe de Paris” (beef sirloin) here🤩🤩

Beautiful restaurant with great food and fantastic service! Some dishes (spring rolls, le chalet cake) were very plain so you might want to check recommendations but the Cafe de Paris and the tartiflette were excellent.

Service is excellent, the floor manager and waiting staff are professional, super friendly, speak English and provide fast and attentive service. Fine dining with a relaxed atmosphere. Difficult to choose which dish to order as so many delicious options on their well put together menu. If you are looking to taste local authentic cuisine from the region, this is a good option! We tried a local speciality, LE BRENZIN (Reblochon cheese fondue served in a crusty loaf of bread), Delicious! Be prepared to eat the cheese soaked bread with your hands. This is served with baby potatoes and a large bowl of salad. This dish and most specialities 'Savoyardes' are to be shared with minimum two persons. I highly recommend this restaurant, they have a lovely terrace by the canal however the inside is very charming and cosy, which I preferred.

The place was half empty, however when we asked politely if we could change to a different table than the one we were assigned to (2 minutes after arriving to the restaurant, we were not even seated), the waiter told us it was impossible and was kinda rude…it was impossible because he didn’t want to walk to that other table (by the window) that was like 3 tables further away from the one he gave us first. That was apparently too far into the restaurant. So we left. The food looked good though, and the place looked really nice, but service-wise that was a red alert.

If you are seeking for a unique local experience in heart of Annecy this savoyard restaurant is the place. Here you can taste old fashioned Savoyard specialities such as fondue and raclette. You can also find many modern tasty dishes as well

I have called the place and made a reservation; then the waitress answering the phone said that, although they had availability, the system was not working and I should remake the reservation by the website. I did. I also received a mail message to that regard. When I showed up with two small kids, the owner denied us a table with a dismissive attitude. Said we should have waited for a second message confirming the reservation, but no one bothered to answer our message and say that they did not have a table. So we were left to find a new place on Monday afternoon. They just shrugged, acted dismissively and closed the door on our face. Based on that, I guess not being able to enter was the best thing that could happen to us. Cannot recommend. EDIT: So yes, the owner’s reply to my review makes a better job of describing their service than I ever could. Please read it together with their replies to other reviewers and you will have a clear picture of what to expect. Also, no, you did not advert me at 10h15: otherwise, why would I have had the displeasure of walking to your place? Feel free not to welcome me, somehow I have the impression that you would not have the occasion for that anyway.
