The building that defines Annecy, there's a museum in this building. We didn't visit the museum as we're on a half day tour, but nevertheless the museum makes for good photo opportunities.

The visit begins with an exposition of the recent periods of the city (today, during the 20th...) and ends with the prison period. After that, If you want to visit the castle museum, it could be interesting to buy the duo /complete ticket in order to avoid the queue. You will have just to present your ticket to the guard (generally they are behind the sign no entry. Particularly the morning, it could save you time.

Gorgeous picturesque little castle in the middle of the river. Went there on a cloudy and rainy day but it didn’t fail to amaze us! Will probably be prettier when the sun is out but it is worth a visit .

Looks pretty, but we didn't find anything particularly spectacular. Maybe because of very low water level?

This city is a photographers dream. It is absolutely finominal. The town is clean, easy to walk everywhere and there are loads of restaurants to choose from. The park next to the lake is also worth visiting. A must see if you visit France.

So pretty. The building cuts the canal into a fork and it just looks perfect. We did not go in or anything, we just visited because it looks beautiful in the water.
