Around 10 years ago I was inspired by a colleague to travel the Lycian trail/way. Although I have visited Turkey almost every year and speak the language I'm very happy with the decision to do this trail with my friends and with Ali, our guide. The trail was quite challenging with stunning views almost every minute. The trail is great for the beautiful views and especially because of the more than 2500 years of history. We walked through ancient theaters, graveyards of Ottoman, Roman and Lycian historic showpieces. If you decide to walk the Lycian trail, choose Ali for his knowledge, skills and ability to adapt to the group.

Amazing ! Amazing ! Amazing ! I have done many tours but this one was by far the best I have ever done. Ali Bey gives you the best of the best. The hotel we stayed in was just breath taking - set up top a mountain. The lunch locations were incredible; the food was so tasty. You really get a true authentic experience of Turkish cuisine on this tour. Ali Bey is very knowledgeable about the mountains , history and Turkish culture. I liked how informative his tour was. He was also very helpful in every sense . Whether it was helping you on the mountain or answering questions. I liked his style of guiding in the sense that he was flexible. If we wanted to spend more time at the beach he let us do that. The group of individuals on the tour were also so good! I met some great people on this trip. We laughed we all had fun together. The hiking was challenging and exhilarating with Breathtaking views from the mountain tops . This tour was one of the best experiences of my life. Just an all around great experience. 10/10 would recommend if you want the experience of a life time !!

It was a great experience to walk the west Lycian Way, it was a 3 nights 4 days Trekking tour organised by Likya Nature Travel. Started from Kayakoy Fethiye to Yediburunlar. Our tour guide Ali was very experienced and made it extra fun for us all . We had about 15 lovely people in our group from different parts of Turkey. The whole tour was full of fun and joy. We walked through beautiful ancient paths with breath taking views. Stayed at family owned Bungalow hotel in Faralya. Great host Bora and his family made our experience extra special with great hospitality. We had lovely breakfast and dinner at the Bungalow hotel restaurant. We had lunch breaks every day during our our walk at the mountain villages . Lunches was prepared by the locals in their village houses. All amazing , delicious, healthy meals. What a great experience. Last part of 3 days walk ended up at the different beach ( Oludeniz, Kirdak and Kabak Beach). At the end of the walk and the beach break our driver Mehmet drove us back to our accommodation safely. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely want to do the middle and East part of the Lycian Way walk with Likya Nature Travel. Looking forward to the next tour.

Traveling through time and unique nature on the Lycian Way; With our guide Ali Bey, our captain Nail Bey, the manager of the hotel we stayed in Bora Bey, his family and the synergy of our group, it turned into an adventurous, laughter-filled, fun, surprise-filled and even mystical experience for me.
